So we purchased an ice cream cookie dough and there was only one cookie dough in the entire ice cream. It was basically vanilla. Tasted old and awful. She was rude. Didn't greet us. Didn't say goodbye. Did not say thank you. Seemed irritated that we were there. I will not go back. I generally go to the gelato place, which is much higher class and cheaper in price and only about half a block from here. read more

I use to love coming here but after today I will NEVER come back. I was utterly disappointed. This place advertises that it's kosher but it's DEFINITELY NOT KOSHER. ‼BEWARE‼ I recently went and I asked for a vanilla and chocolate swirl. The man proceeded to hand me a basically vanilla cone with barely any chocolate in it. Mind you the machine was making a really loud noise before he proceeded to make it. Makes it. Hands it to me. And I asked him if he could remake it but from the other vanilla and chocolate machine that was working and gave me the worst attitude. I told him I'd pay for both if he really was that bothered... also extremely unsanitary. Does use any gloves. Grabs crash and everything around him and doesn't wash his hands at all in between things. I would stay away from this place. If you're already there and you're reading this. There's a way cleaner ice cream place across the street and the people are actually sweet and nice. (I've lived in this area for over 10 years now and this is the local spot. Time for a few updates. Brendy's is one of those places where you go once and you immediately feel like you've been going there for years. It's that good. They offer a distinct variety of Ice Cream and Yogurt flavors at affordable prices. What more could an ice cream lover want? I also love the decor. It's so visually bright and inviting! The interior is just as bright and colorful as the exterior and the staff are friendly. It is just the place to wind down a long hot day. I am not all that creative with my ice cream flavors and tend to stay with what I know. But they offer quite a variety of flavors for the more adventurous ice cream and yogurt fan and it's just an overall fun place to go. Brendy's artificial ice cream is something that is thankfully not seen much these days and I can't remember having ice cream this syrupy and non-natural in years. As bad as the ice cream was the yogurt was even worse and this product lacked both the taste and texture of good froyo. The ice cream was just not worth eating and we tossed them. read more

It crazy how when it's cold outside, my body craves for once cream and when it's 100 degrees, it doesn't. As an after dinner treat, I decided to venture into this family open ice cream place to taste some delicious sweets! It is very clean and colorful in the store with plenty of soft serve ice cream and regular ice cream to choose from. I decided to get the soft serve vanilla and chocolate swirl with a cone ($5.02 with tax). I am glad there were plenty of other flavors than chocolate or vanilla. Definitely will try other flavors the next time I come in. The location is in an upscale shopping center, across from a gym (burn those calories and gain them right back! Just kidding...) Parking seems to be on the limited side so keep that in mind. The shop itself is nice, bright, and very clean with ample places to sit. I ordered a waffle cone with french vanilla and chocolate mousse twist, which was delicious and really hit the spot on a hot South Florida afternoon. You can sample most of the flavors before you buy, which is nice, and the gentleman behind the counter was polite and accommodating. The ice cream here is pretty good so I usually order it over UberEats. Tonight I decided to stop by with my girlfriend and we left extremely frustrated and disappointed. The tall worker behind the counter with curly hair and glasses seemed to have an attitude from first glance. We told him we usually order over the phone and he said something sarcastic about having all the choices in front of us. We agreed it was nice having all the options and then we asked if there were any artificial flavors in the ice cream. I normally don't care, but I was asking for my sister at home who is trying to avoid mellorine, a low-cost imitation ice cream. Had I known what he'd say, I wouldn't have thought to even ask. He then said, "I don't even know what that means." His dismissive attitude left me speechless. I asked again and asked if he could ask a coworker who might know, but again, he just listed off all the flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt, and rudely stated that some had sugar and while others did not. Afterwards, he stuck his head out closer to us, with his nose sticking out from under his mask, causing me to back away a safe distance. My girlfriend ordered her cup of ice cream and we quickly left, never to return again. It's a shame because one worker's attitude and non-professionalism has ruined my, and my family's, image of this restaurant. He's super outgoing, charismatic, energetic, sweet and dedicated to his work and customers. He's so upbeat and motivated, he keeps the store so clean and organized and he makes the customer feel beyond welcome. He goes above and beyond an ice cream store employee I've ever encountered. He offered variety of samples, handed me a punch card, even told me about the Yamato location. When I told him he I didn't like that located at all, he proceeded to ask why and told me he wanted to understand what was lacking there so he can improve here for this store. I do like the Ice Cream there and have been there many times. The only complaints that I have is A) The staff has to get a personality. Not rude but not friendly either. B) The hard ice cream is always very soft. The minute is goes in the cone it's dripping. They have to adjust their freezers. I've owned and Ice Cream story up north for many years and my ice cream was never that soft. I do understand certain flavor mix ins will make it softer but all the standard ice creams are soft.
