Realized that she was on the phone. I looked at her, she looked at me and still said nothing. Okay, cool. I ordered the Dragon Fruit Delight Bowl. She didn't wash her hands and proceeded to peel and cut up the banana without any gloves on. She brought the bowl over, still on the phone. I said thank you, she said nothing and I left. And let me explain why this matters. I had no intention of stopping into Jamba Juice. I was going into a different store when I saw Elionai coming back from dumping trash. He had his Jamba Juice uniform on and I asked him if they do anything special for people's birthdays at Jamba Juice. He smiled ear to ear and said we absolutely do. Just make sure you download the Jamba Juice app. No problem. My Mum is turning 80 and we did exactly that and went into Jamba Juice where this incredibly kind man named Elionai immediately greeted us like we were VIP's. I told him it was my beautiful Mum's birthday and he sang to her in the most heartwarming way. This kind gentleman clearly has many talents. She picked her birthday smoothie and remarked how delicious it tasted. It takes so little to make people feel really good. Elionai, Sir I cannot thank you enough for your outstanding level of customer service and kindness today! Every time I go there I ask for something specific they always get one thing wrong, and tell me I didn't ask for it even though my card is charged with the add ons. My first time going here during my lunch break.. It was nice trying it out, but I wasn't very impressed! Prices are outrageous compared to other smoothie places I've visited. However, they have certain daily specials that are advertised within the store.. I also felt a little rushed by the cashier, and he ended up overcharging me for my smoothie. I am so tired of this Jamba Juice location. The inconsistency is so annoying. My friend and I come here at least three times a week and every day we order the same exact thing, yet it always tastes different. We've been giving it a chance the past two times, before starting to seek a new smoothie place. Unfortunately, today I've had enough. There was a piece of sharp plastic in my watered down drink. The piece of plastic was bigger than photographed however I swallowed the other piece. The piece on my finger is just what got stuck in my tooth. I called to let them know, the guy on the phone seemed to not care in the slightest bit. The only reason that I am giving two stars instead of one is because there is one specific girl that I wish I remembered her name because her customer service and smoothie making skills are excellent. Jamba juice is really good. In my opinion, they need to lower the prices. If they did, I would probably go 2-3 times per week. For now I only partake 2 times per year. I find this to be true for all Jamba juice locations. Don't get me wrong smoothie king is not cheap either. You have to ask yourself is it better to make it at home for 1/3 of the price or drive over there and pay for the convenience. Hey, it's only ice, water, protein and some fruit. From the moment I walk through their doors they always greet me and take my order as soon as they can. They always have it together. I never there for more than 10 min. Upon walking into this JJ location I could've sworn they were closed. It was super quiet and no worker was to be found or customers either. I waited a few with my sister and then someone greeted us about a minute or so later. My sister and I scanned the menu although we always keep it simple and order our normal Strawberries Wild w Chia Seeds and Ginger shots to up our immune systems. The worker quickly cashed us out and got our items ready for us and made her way to the back while we were still inside. The ginger shots were quite odd to us because they tasted like mostly orange juice topped with cayenne pepper. But we blame it on the fact that they had just cleaned the juicer and it seemed as if they didn't really want to make it. The smoothies are great as always, and the kids that work here are really nice. They do their best when things get busy. BUT, management please pay some ATTENTION to your deplorable bathroom. The faucet is broken, leaving a tiny little stick that you have to push to get the water on. The toilet paper is impossible to unroll because the holder is about to fall off the wall. The same with the paper towel dispenser. It doesn't work and is about to fall off the wall, too. There's no hook to put your purse and the floor is so dirty that I cringed to think I might have to put it on the floor. It's basically a third world bathroom in a NICE Boca Raton shopping center. As for the service, it was pretty fast from the guy who made and served me the smoothie, but the cashier who took my order was super slow and had an inexplicable amount of attitude. From the Mango Peach Topper (with organic granola) to the Coldbuster with Vit C and antioxidants, everything is delicious. The reviews are correct about this place. The consistency. The manager here recognizes me every time I come in and she makes my smoothie correctly. I ask for it extra thick. But literally any other time I go and she's not there my smoothie has to be remade 3 times and it still ends up being wrong. At this point im done. Go to raw Juce instead. Was super stoked to get a Jamba in west boca. The first time we came here we had a groupon and accidentally clicked it twice. The manager on duty, Mike, immediately said no problem and have us another one for free. The customer service here was exceptional. The second time we came here, the associate, Valery, noticed our smoothie was a little too runny and right away made us a fresh one. We were very pleased with how attentive they were. Jamba Juice was handing out their delicious fruit smoothies at two of the Yelp Spring Break events I went to. I had been to Jamba Juice before, but it was several months ago. Having those delicious fruit drinks at Spring Break reminded me how much i enjoy their smoothies. Since then I have gone to Jamba Juice several times. There's nothing I like better on a hot and humid Florida day then an ice cold strawberry fruit smoothie. They sell other foods and drinks besides smoothies, but I haven't tried anything else. I have had different flavor smoothie and I love the fruits, but I'm not a big fan of the green vegetable ones. I'm sure their healthy and good but I prefer all fruit flavors. read more

Let's start by saying my smoothie grew on me. The kid didn't appear to have a clear understanding of their ingredients or the health impact of these. I specifically said I wanted no added sugar or dairy. I also wanted something kale / spinach based. I finally determined that any reference to lemon was actually lemonade (with sugar). I had to repeat multiple times that I didn't want the added sugar. I also explained that if this was served to a diabetic, it could create a health issue. In the end, he suggested using almond milk in place of the lemonade which I agreed to... I was hungry! Once I gt used to the taste with the Almond milk and a LOT of ginger, it was fairly good. My suggestion, I understand young people are the ideal employee for this type of job but a basic understanding of the ingredient and listening skills could go a long way.
