We've been here and eaten dinner in their backroom. We've brought visiting friends and family. We've been here over the years for various lobster specials and even sushi and during happy hours, too. This was the first time we'd been back in some time. It was a nicer and quieter experience coming for lunch during the week. We were able to spread out at a slightly larger table. There are still two kitchens, so it gets a bit complicated when you order. The food comes out whenever its ready, and from different locations, so you don't always get your appetizer first -- sometimes it comes with your meal. Next time, I'll try to remember this. The sodas are not brand name. They are not the best nor close to the originals. I think the carbonation might have been off, as well. Today, they had a special on oysters -- they were half priced. I ordered some peel n eat shrimp to come first so I could share this with my husband. And some Nola oysters -- half a dozen "grilled" New Orleans style for my main when he had his lunch. Instead, everything for me came out all at once. And the shrimp -- which I'd assumed would be cold -- were served hot. That was my mistake, I guess, not to verify this when I ordered. That being said, the shrimp swimming in garlic butter and a tad messy to eat, were a nice large size and quite good. They were served with a couple lemon wedges and a small container of cocktail sauce. The oysters, however, were miniscule and basically some hard melted cheese on a tiny bit of something difficult to taste/find. They didn't taste grilled, either. If we hadn't been paying only $10 for the six of them, I would have been even more disappointed. My husband got their shrimp and chips. The fries were served well done as ordered. The shrimp were in a thick batter. The dish came with some tartar and cocktail sauce. He said they were okay (and that my shrimp were much better than his). We had good service, and everyone was friendly and smiling.

I was searching Yelp for seafood, and this came up as highly rated. One of the people in our party of 5 adults and a toddler is not a huge fan of seafood, so having Italian options was great. He ordered the special eggplant parmigiana and said it was delicious. The sauce was very good and he cleaned his plate. . Everyone also enjoyed their salads with the ginger dressing. A few even added some balsamic and said the combo was delicious. The wahoo bites we had as an appetizer was crispy and flaky and lovely. Our 16 month old guest enjoyed them as well. I ordered the sesame crusted ahi tuna and Bahamian peas and rice side. The tuna was perfectly cooked and the Bahamian peas and rice were amazing!!! The spicy flavor and beautifully textured rice were the perfect side with the tuna! Others ordered the Linguine Alla Vongole - fresh clams in the shell with garlic scampi sauce and Crazy Bob's Shrimp and Calamari Fra Diavolo with angel hair pasta. There was a generous amount of clams, shrimp and calamari in the respective dishes enjoyed with the wonderful pastas. The generous amount of pasta was taken home. Our sever Agnes was a delight! Very kind and an absolute pleasure! While we were too full and content to have desserts those who live in town said they will need to come back and leave room for the key lime pie. The dining area was decorated with wonderful art and nautical treasures. A few tables exist for outdoor dining. Mostly for two or four diners. Highly recommend Chef Dee's restaurant!

SOLD! I gathered my husband and son and headed off for a new experience. First off the atmosphere is very nice and peaceful. We love the colorful buildings and the views. We entered and met Sandy, the nicest yet down to earth hostess. She greeted us and walked us to tables toward the back which would accompany 3 people. This was away from the Steel Drums which was the main reason we were visiting the establishment. I mentioned I had called previously to make sure the steel drums were definitely playing tonight and we really wanted to be seated closer to watch and hear the entertainment. All the seats close to where he was were 2 top tables or the bar but my son is 12- so that was a "no." She then said we could sit at 2 tables but we couldn't move the chairs. We said that was GREAT as it was close to the music and we didn't mind sitting in a "line" as that's kinda like sitting at the bar. We were very pleased and had the nicest server who was very attentive and helpful. I think the manager was a little confused as to why Sandy sat our family like that but what she did was provide excellent customer service and helped our family have a peaceful relaxing evening. And, for that - Sandy is the best and say "Hi" to her next time you go there. She will do her best to assist you. We will be back to the Nauti-Dawg. The food was really good and very filling. Customer service was outstanding. And, the atmosphere is very relaxing. 5 stars from our family!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

It came with a side of plain tortilla chips, they were boring but fine (I only ate one, the shrimp taco portion was plenty for my appetite). The dish came with a little cup of pico.
