Came here last week to try some new (but one of my faves) Peruvian dishes - the Chaufa de Mariscos. It wasn't bad but I've had better in Cali. Their version here had a little too much ginger for my liking. My hubs ordered the Arroz con Camarones. Same feedback. Beautiful presentation though and would come back for the Pulpo.

Great little Peruvian Restaurant. I ordered one of their many ceviches on the menu. And I was glad I did, fresh and nicely stacked with various seafood and fried calamari. Loved it! Parking garage is next door, so no issue there. The service is fast and friendly. Place is populair, cause people kept coming and going. A must try when you are in town.

Wow, excellent ceviche and frozen passion fruit juice, friendly service, great location right across from the pier. I can't wait to return during my next vacation.

Pineapple, banana, papaya, strawberry and mango. How can you go wrong?

Just fantastic! Was visiting Deerfield beach again and wanted to try a new cuisine. Stumbled across Puksra and the people eating outside told me I have to try it. What the h...., an awesome glass of juice and a great meal later. This is probably the best food I ate in a while. VERY RECOMMENDED! And if you wonder about the service, don't. It's awesome.

Unbelievably good. Taste of Peru. Every dish I tried was great. Had to try beef heart. So good. Not sure of the names of these dishes, but absolutely delicious.

Diving into deliciousness at Pukara on the Beach! Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations, we did and were delighted with their choices. Best flan I've ever had and I get flan everywhere it's on the menu!

Cute little spot about a block from the beach. The risottos were both amazing. The drinks were well crafted and delicious! Portions are huge.

My husband and I always do our staycation at the Wyndham for our Anniversary Weekend... this was our first time trying this establishment. I see why they have five stars. The food is truly AMAZING . The service is great and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to any questions regarding the menu. We will definitely be back and highly recommend trying this place out when at the beach. There are tables inside and outside and the food portions are huge. You won't be disappointed!!!

It's much smaller than I expected, but not in flavor! we arrived and was told it would be about a 35 minute wait. So we came back, but had to wait another 15 minutes. The food was good and our server was friendly when she took our order, but then she didn't really come back to the table. We had finished our drinks and were thirsty, but no one came back. Eventually after eating, I went inside to get my check and pay. Food was really good. Service was meh.

My cousin recommended we eat here, he's a local and he doesn't even like seafood but I can see why he chose this place. Parking is a pain, you have to pay everywhere you go because it's so close to the beach but once you get that out of the way you're in for a treat. It's a small restaurant with some tables inside and a few outside if you want to brave the FL heat. I definitely wanted to try ceviche and I didn't know which one to get...so I got the trio! AMAZING!!! I loved them so much, you can share or just dig in yourself and it's super filling. My brother got the chicharron de pescado, the fish is so crunchy and perfectly made, it just falls apart so juicy and beautifully. My husband got the chicharron de calamari, another hit but not as wonderful as the pescado. Cousin got the chaufa which, again...such a big portion, we all got to try and he even took the rest home. Sister-in-law got the lomo saltado and she said it was the best she's had, PLUS they have the gravy(?) on the side so the fries don't get soggy. Im not a local so I will be thinking about this place until I (hopefully) return. Cheers!

Excellent food!!! Highly recommend................ Service was great and each plate was amazing.

Great small place. Loved the food and service. The Ceviche with the yellow sauce was tasty and the ceviche was perfectly cooked.

My boyfriend and I tried the ceviche called Cholo Power, the lomo saltado and the risotto huancaina lomo saltado. To start we had canchas which were nice and warm with a spicy but yummy sauce. The ceviche tasted fresh, the sauce was delicious to the last drop. The lomo saltado was juicy and tasty, the fries were crunchy and they served the rice on the side. My favorite was the risotto huancaina lomo saltado. I would say it's the best risotto I've ever had at a Peruvian restaurant. Our server Fabio was knowledgeable and kind. He made a great recommendation for our main course. Overall I recommend and will be coming back. Food was so good only got one photo. You'll just have to try it (:

I also loved the presentation of the lomo saltado--especially the little flower, which I thought was a cute touch. I had a mango drink, which was delicious and creamy. You can choose between water or milk, and I opted for water to make it a mango fresca. While waiting for the meal, they served some cancha, which are Peruvian corn nuts--a nice little snack. The restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived, so the food came out quickly. The ambiance and music were pleasant. I hope this place gets more customers because it's definitely a great spot for Peruvian food.

The restaurant is located in a strip on the east side of US1. After we came in, we recognized the location. We'd been here before long ago when it was another restaurant. After looking over the menu, I decided on their shrimp ceviche. They do have a number of lunch specials, but not what I had been craving. My husband thought he'd get their fish and shrimp ceviche, but it turned out the fish was swai/tilapia. Not his favorite. And to get corvina fish instead was an additional $8. So he wound up getting the shrimp ceviche, also. While we waited for our food, we snacked on those Peruvian roasted salted corn kernels. They are addictive. The shrimp ceviche was very good. Lots of shrimp along with large fresh corn kernels, roasted kernels, and red onion slices. All in a citrus marinade. There was also a chunk of sweet potato (yam?). I added some additional squeezes of lime juice as well. For lunch, it was rather an expensive meal, but it was exactly what I needed on that hot almost summer day!

There is supposed to be a happy hour from 4-7, but we didn't get the discount on our drinks when the bill arrived. She definitely tried to upsell us on additonal items which i get, but this wasn't my first time here so we came with the intent of taking full advantage of the specials. Again though, the ceviches is the best in the entire area that I've had. The mixto in particular is my jam as it presents to limey and juicy and the chilled sweet potato is perfectly cooked. The corn snacks are delightfullly crunchy. The calamari frita side addition for $3 more is worth it to have something cooked to compliment the cold dish. My daughter also highly recommends the chicha morada. The cinnamon and other warm spices are in the background, but pleasantly supportive of the sweet purple corn and tangy lime juices. They both excellent outdoor seating options and very cleanly decorated interior dining options.

Here's the breakdown: * Pork bao ($3 Monday night special!) - fluffy little pillows of joy. * Pisco sours - dangerously easy to drink and delicious. * Mussels appetizer - flavorful and shareable. * Mains: the grilled octopus/shrimp with potatoes? Yes, please. The crispy duck? Not so crispy... and a little overcooked. Duck sadness. Luckily, dessert redeemed everything--the Lucuma ice cream was so good it deserves its own fan club. The vibe inside is gorgeous too--great decor makes you want to linger just a little longer. Final verdict: overall a 4.5, but let's be real, we're rounding up to 5 because anything less would feel stingy.

This had us a bit nervous because we both live far away and the drive there- etc. but in the end we made it so all Good. There were open tables at lunch time, so I feel that asking for a cc was a bit extra, maybe an opportunity for improvement. Well we arrived and the place is located on a big plaza with sufficient parking on both sides, no problems there: right next to the Turnpike! Which made it great for a meet up for old friends who live in Jupiter and Broward: this worked. It is a large locale with tables both inside and a large outside terrace that was also Very welcoming. We chose the inside area. The decor is upscale and the noise level is low: great for all our conversations. There is background music so the lunch "scene" is very smooth and nicely suave. Our waiter was always attentive and handy and ready to take our order and suggest many of the dishes in the menu. They were so gracious they even sang happy birthday to me when they found out I was celebrating! Anyway we decided to share appetizer and entree - wanted to make it to the cake- so for starters we shared a "Conchitas à la Parmesana". (Coquille sort-of st jaques with a twist) (for the purist) as these had some bechamel sauce and some mozzarella in addition to the customary parmesan cheese. They were delicious! But not quite the "traditional" way we were expecting. Still: we licked our fingers and enjoyed For the main course we shared a "lomito saltado con tallarines en salsa huancaina". Let me say here that I had my doubts. Spaghetti in huancaina sauce? Who would have thought they would be so delicious! The sauce is a cheese mix with the yellow Peruvian aji- but it was not "hot", just flavorful and with a delicious aroma. The chunks of meat of the "lomito" we cooked to perfection, and the combination was just SO GOOD! Oh and the portion size was Abundant so we were glad we shared as we wanted to Make it to dessert So ... there is a dessert menu! So many choices... but I was determined and chose the chocolate cake. Peruvian chocolate cake is something else. I crave it. It has some dulce de leche in the middle and creamy hot fudge flowing from the top... yummmmm We were already full before the cake... but how could we not devour it! It was scrumptious! Anyway... it is already 6 pm, as I write this review- I am still full- and here I am wishing for more chocolate cake... or more of the spaghetti with the huancaina sauce... or both! We are definitely going back for more. Enjoy!
