A little Florida storm tried to join us today... but we stayed by the sea and ended the day the French way -- crème brûlée with a touch of French sea salt. France is never too far. Everything was wonderful today -- from the delicious food to the service and beautiful oceanfront atmosphere. Erin, our server, was fantastic, & Andrew, the maître d', is always so professional and welcoming. Even the valet attendant went above and beyond, helping my mom into the car and carefully putting her wheelchair away for us. It's those little acts of kindness that make an experience extra special. I had such a wonderful experience at Oceans 234! The restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has an elegant, classy atmosphere that perfectly complements its beachfront location. The outdoor seating area is especially impressive--plenty of space, fans to keep you comfortable, and a gorgeous view of the beach. Our server, Lena, was fantastic. She was attentive, patient, personable, and made us feel genuinely well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was high quality and absolutely delicious. I had the chicken Caesar salad and loved it! Instead of traditional croutons, they use baked Parmesan crisps, which was such a delicious touch and a definite win for me. Consistently uninspiring and overpriced. I've now had the Caesar, the shrimp scampi, and the burger and every time I leave I say I paid way too much for the food I received. You're paying for the views and the views alone. The parking attendants also take their jobs way more seriously than anyone should. We got absolutely interrogated about going to the beach after our meal after paying for valet. Overall, I'll only go back against my will. read more

A favorite of ours, and perfect for a birthday celebration. It's right on the Atlantic Ocean beach. We both had their smash burger. I really hadn't noticed before that a smash burger really is different than a "normal" hamburger. Squishing the patty onto the flattop really puts a nice crust onto the meat. Started with a robust portion of calamari with two dipping sauces. Had shrimp scampi and Thai Coconut Mahi and shrimp. Both dishes were excellent. Lovely experience at Oceans 234 while visiting the Boca area. They have a great menu full of fresh options and we had a great experience from the time we arrived until when we left. We had gone out for a birthday dinner, and the team was so accommodating and had great suggestions from the menu. We ordered the Thai Curry and Shrimp, Harvest Salad and the fresh catch ceviche. The Thai Curry Shrimp was amazing, having that sweet and spicy component that paired great with the fish and shrimp. The ceviche was extremely fresh, citrusy and was great with the terra chips. The salad was refreshing and light, definitely paired well with all of the other dishes. And our server, Logan and team were amazing, attentive and always kept our drinks full. Wonderful waterfront restaurant in Deerfield Beach. We came on a chilly night and they had great space heaters to keep us warm, still with an ocean view! Service was very slow at first but once a waiter finally came to greet us, she was awesome! Korean chicken wings were delicious with a little bit of spice. I really love the location and you can't beat looking at the ocean. The menu is a bit all over the place, but on a positive note everyone in your party can find some to eat. The Salmon was delicious! What a beautiful restaurant Oceans 234 is. The openness of the rooms, bar and glass walls to the outside dining are so welcoming. Adam or waiter was great. His service and recommendations were spot on. For appetizers we ordered the fried calamari served with a marinara sauce and a smoked tater sauce which was out of this world! We also had the hummus with roasted chick peas, served with plenty of pita too! For dinner I canned what I was going to have (shrimp scampi) to the mahi mahi and shrimp blackened. This was done because Adam said that this dish was the best here, so I went with it. The dish was delicious and then to to it off, I ordered a side of mushroom truffle risotto (OMG)! The other dinners were the scallops with mushroom truffle risotto, and the shrimp scampi over a pasta. Everything was enjoyed and we had a great evening. Food came out very fresh and even though it was a busy day, Father's Day, we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. We have come to this restaurant for over six years now and have had excellent service and meals every time but this recent one has topped them all.
