Fun and lively atmosphere in the bar area. Service was good. Food (American) was average but protein dishes overcooked (well done). Credit card fee is a turn off when you spend several hundreds. Not sure why this practice is employed at establishments with bottle wine menus. On the fence about returning. Overall, i may come here for a few drinks but will ensure to carry cash. $20/drink should cover the minimal cc fee. Note to business: Honestly, credit card fee is normal overhead at a restaurant and shouldn't be separated out to your customers. It send a wrong message especially when entrees exceed $50/plate. Avoid this practice.

First time visit and we have been living here almost 4 years. Shame on us! Busy - we had an 8:15 reservation. Sat in the 2nd room where the big bar is located. 10 stars for us. Wow. Incredible menu and service. Consider yourself fortunate if Mel is your server. Very attentive, knowledgeable and gracious. 1/2 price wine night - had a fantastic Gruner. Mel even let us know the temp wasn't optimal so they chilled it a bit longer. Nice touch. My grilled peach & burrata was fantastic. Fiance loved his rock shrimp ceviche. Basil stuffed (shrimp) farfalle was the best. Fiance ordered the cheeseburger. I ate 1/2 of his rosemary fries. Addictive! Only drawback and it wasn't their fault. A group of six were next to us. Mid 30s. We don't mind "loud" we knew it was noisy. The most vulgar language - just non stop. We look forward to many more visits.

Amazing experience! Was visiting a friend from out of town and she's a regular here... there was a bit of a wait so we sat outside & ordered drinks... once our table was ready we were moved to inside and our waiter, Bee, took care of us inside & outside - he was amazing! Gave us great recommendations, checked in regularly - we started with the yellowfin tuna, grilled Maine scallops, & house bread. Then we split the sweet corn agnolotti & filet mignon. Chefs kiss. It was absolutely delicious. It was definitely a livelier bar/restaurant and dim intimate lighting. Can't wait to come back here next time we're in town!

Amazing food! The service and atmosphere was a great vibe. I want to go back already for the sweet corn agnolotti. Don't forget the bread for an app!

Perfect dinner. When Delray gets Michelin stars I'm sure this one will be on the list. Highly recommend you try the Japanese Waygu tartare served on warm rice. The squash blossoms are also delicious and the briosche crusted chicken. Delicious! The rosemary Parmesan briosche is great too. Don't pass on the bread!

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. The food is very delicious but I removed one star because the prices as extremely expensive. The portions are small - which I prefer! I just wish the prices matched.

Let's get the negatives out of the way....I got full. That's it. The menu gives you the opportunity to curate your own epicurean journey and I'm assuming that's the point. Cocktails crafted and paired beautifully, (thanks Court and Nick). I had the Hamachi, you must have the Hen Egg, then I concluded with the gnocchi. If you're lucky enough to have Michael or Tony suggest your courses, or your wine pairings, do yourself a solid and oblige. It's been years since I've been to the grove and they've only aged like a fine wine. 11/5. Go. I look forward to experiencing what they become excited about executing. Do yourself a favor and visit the best restaurant in Delray. I look forward to being back soon.

The food here is absolutely spectacular. I really enjoyed the specialty cocktails and they had an excellent selection of wine. The sweet corn agnolotti was delicious. You have to get the rosemary bread. One of the few places you can find squash blossoms in the area, stuffed with ricotta, and finished with a truffle honey. Also must order the Caramel bread pudding. I gave the place four stars because it's one of those locations that is higher priced with small portions. The price isn't ridiculous but I would definitely expect a little bit more food given the price point. A grown man would definitely leave hungry. Great date night spot and if you have a smaller appetite I'm sure you would be fine. Service was on point... no issue with the wait staff who knew the menu very well

I ate here for Saturday night dinner. They have bar seating for walk-ins. They also have a couch area outside on the back patio for walk-ins. There may be some tables for walk in's but I'm not sure. The bar was full, so they offered me the couch on the back patio, which is not air-conditioned and is very hot, but staff informed me that there were fans directly on the couch and I would feel comfortable out there also that the full menu is served. So I sat at the couches and I was a solo diner, so it was actually nice to be able to sit there and read my book while waiting for my drink and food. As promised there were fans right on me several of the other diners on the patio though were very hot. The waitress I had was really great and friendly as were the other staff. The drink I had was great as was the short rib pasta so good. I would definitely go out of my way to go back again!

Great dinner, finally found a place in Delray that I think offer an elevated menu in a great atmosphere. The food was all excellent, started with the wagyu tartar and stuffed blossoms. Dinner was a perfectly made chicken breast and pappardelle in a duck ragu. The service was friendly and really good. Loved this place and will be back.

Courtney with a "C "and Nick with the "Bowlow tie" we're amazing great bartenders. The burger was so delicious and fresh. I'm not gonna lie. It was the best burger I ever had. It was so plain too. My husband and I vesper martinis and a espresso martini shot. It was amazing. They are awesome here and this is my second review guys come to this place. It's awesome.

They have a really nice outdoor seating area, complete with heaters when needed. We chose to dine inside. The vibe inside the restaurant was kind of a boho rustic feel, and I really liked it. Soft lighting and music really set the tone. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gustavo, and given our menus. We don't drink, but they had a nice selection of drinks, cocktails and spirits. We decided to start with the sweet and sour cauliflower. It was absolutely delicious! Cauliflower battered and fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce. For our entree we shared the 44oz Creekstone ribeye. It was served with charred broccolini and and a fried airy potato side dish that was out of this world! The steak came sliced and off the bone, so it was perfect for sharing. It was served with 3 toppings; a horseradish sauce, a balsamic glaze, and delicious mixture of sliced peppers. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. We did not have dessert there, as we had a birthday cake at home. And I feel remiss that I didn't even look to see what they had. Overall, it was the perfect place to have a romantic, celebratory dinner! Thanks Driftwood. *Just a Note ~ I found it odd they added a 20% tip on a 2 top table, and I was glad I noticed it on the bill before we double tipped.

A few of the things I liked.. - Fruit juice used for mixers is made in-house fresh daily. The drinks are creative and made well. - The sweet and sour cauliflower, the sliders, the chicken and dumplings. - Servers are always knowledgeable and attentive - indoor and outdoor seating with fans on a warm day. Upscale vibe with dim lighting. - plenty of parking A few I didn't.. - The fish dip was just ok - the fried part of the southern fried chicken while juicy on the inside, lacked flavor - the up charge for almond vanilla milk in the espresso martini without being told up front of the added cost -the steak tartare happy hour portion is 1 bite-sized piece. Just offer the normal sized portion for a reduced happy hour price as opposed to 1/4th the portion for 1/3rd the price. Overall I would say every experience is good but not great. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try and seeing if you agree with my review.

The service was 10/10 and the ambiance was relaxing as there was an art fair going on down the street. We ordered a few items to share. For appetizer, we got the Santa Fe salad and I am salivating just thinking about its contents. It came with mixed greens, peanuts, corn, black beans, dates, avocado, crispy tortilla chips, feta cheese and cilantro peanut lime dressing. It was a MUST! I'm a big salad girl and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We got the steak frites with truffle fries additionally. The steak came medium and was tender and delicious. The truffle fries were addicting. Couldn't stop eating them. The bill was able to be split through an app via a scanning barcode on the table. We stopped in for happy hour--it wasn't too busy, but they did have a live acoustic guitar singer, which added a nice touch. We grabbed seats at the bar, which is huge and really beautiful. The overall ambiance is great--very well-decorated and inviting. We were just in the mood for drinks and a quick bite, so we ordered a taco and the Brussels sprouts. The taco was honestly underwhelming--it felt more like something you'd get at a lower-scale spot, not what I expected here. The Brussels sprouts were actually really good flavor-wise, but the portion was tiny and left me wanting more. Prices (even for happy hour) felt a bit high compared to other places nearby, especially for the portion sizes and food quality. Overall, the atmosphere is definitely the highlight, but the food didn't quite match the vibe. Not sure I'd rush back unless it's just for drinks and the ambiance.
