The service was 10/10 and the ambiance was relaxing as there was an art fair going on down the street. We ordered a few items to share. For appetizer, we got the Santa Fe salad and I am salivating just thinking about its contents. It came with mixed greens, peanuts, corn, black beans, dates, avocado, crispy tortilla chips, feta cheese and cilantro peanut lime dressing. It was a MUST! I'm a big salad girl and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We got the steak frites with truffle fries additionally. The steak came medium and was tender and delicious. Was invited to this place for a birthday brunch! For 1 parking was convenient, located NE of the restaurant literally right next to it! The waitress was nice and attentive! Making sure drinks were full, and we had everything we needed! 5 stars for that. The food was good, of course it's a brunch so it wasn't a full menu. But the menu was good enough! I kept it simple with scrambled eggs, bacon & potatoes. Which you can never go wrong with simple, but the food was very good to say the least. My husband and I decided to try The Hampton Social since it's on the inKind app for cash back at restaurants. We stopped in for happy hour--it wasn't too busy, but they did have a live acoustic guitar singer, which added a nice touch. We grabbed seats at the bar, which is huge and really beautiful. The overall ambiance is great--very well-decorated and inviting. We were just in the mood for drinks and a quick bite, so we ordered a taco and the Brussels sprouts. The taco was honestly underwhelming--it felt more like something you'd get at a lower-scale spot, not what I expected here. The Brussels sprouts were actually really good flavor-wise, but the portion was tiny and left me wanting more. Prices (even for happy hour) felt a bit high compared to other places nearby, especially for the portion sizes and food quality. I was invited here for a birthday brunch. We parked in a nearby garage and when we walked upstairs the place was right in front of us. The decor was absolutely chic as soon as you walk in. We waited on our friends who invited us before walking back to the table. The decor was just fabulous all throughout the restaurant. Most of our party was already seated so the waitress came over to take our drink orders. I got the pink reverie which was delicious and fancy. For my entree I settled on the lobster roll manhattan style and truffle Parmesan fries. They did not skimp on the portions and everything was scrumptious. One friend ordered a burger with house made potato chips that were delicious, another a lobster roll and salad and I ordered the prime rib sandwich. The prime rib sandwich was kind of disappointing. I had another lunch at Hampton Social. The food was very good, the service not so much. Our waitress didn't remember after much discussion of the menu that 2 of my party were gluten free / celiac. The waitress brought out a plate with bread on it to one of the gf diners, and then she blamed it on the kitchen staff. I felt pretty bad about my gluten-free friend who felt bad about having to deal with the bread and the items next to it on her plate. This is a big deal to gluten-free people. A server needs to remember these important dietary issues and then accept that she made a mistake and not blame her fellow staff - it looks bad. After all, she brought the plate out to the table. There were other problems with this waitress. Our cocktails which we ordered at the beginning didn't come out until after we received our food, and I suspect that they were sitting at the bar for awhile ready to be picked up. She also mentioned something about the 18% auto tip added to the bill, as if it wasn't enough for her. Maturity level, common sense, and professional level not quite there. The level of service from the waitress did not match what you would think a restaurant like Hampton Social would provide. We were all disappointed. read more

Brunch here started with me rushing to the bathroom with a giant splinter in my butt cheek. Yes. That happened due to their weathered chairs. I went to sit down and somehow this insane chunk of wood splinted off the chair went through my romper and was lodged in my butt cheek skin. Yes there was a DJ but honestly didn't provide any vibes different from them just having music playing. They had boxes of inflatables never passed out or provided. There was no bottomless option for drinks. Basically the vibe of a girls fun brunch was non-existent. The service was really slow and the place was dead. It was an hour until we all had our first round of drinks. We shared chicken and waffles and the lobster roll. Both were good but the lobster roll at 39 was not really worth it for the price. They brought out big sparklers and shots of frose for all of us to celebrate the birthday girls. That is what bumped my review from 2 stars to 3. This was our first time bringing our dog to Hampton Social. We were happy to see that they are dog friendly! We sat on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. The weather was perfect, and the umbrellas made it comfortable in the sun. We were seated quickly and even got to choose our table. Our server, Daryn, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the avocado toast on sourdough. The roasted tomatoes were fresh, and the greens were exceptional. I got the egg on the side, which was perfect. My husband and I both ordered a side of bacon--three slices each for $6 seemed a bit pricey to us. He had the Breakfast Sandwich with candied pork belly, which was excellent, and my friend loved her Garden Scramble, which was generous and delicious. The ambiance was lovely. I especially enjoyed the live music--a young lady singing acoustic covers. Her rendition of "Zombie" by The Cranberries was amazing, not too loud, and really added to the experience. Always a delightful dining experience and one of my favorite restaurants! Dined as a group of 4 on a Saturday evening. We started with the Coopers Beach Calamari which was well very seasoned and spicy. For my main I ordered a Fish and Chips with a Hampton Frose (my go to drink ) Our server was so nice and attentive. My friend had her bridal shower here and everything from the service to the atmosphere was so nice!! It was super clean and our server was sooo attentive to our party. She constantly checked in on us, refilled our drinks, and was quick with serving everything. For starters, we shared guacamole that was topped with corn and had a side of delicious chips. The Brussel sprouts are also a MUST try! For the main course, I had the double smash burger and it was incredible; cooked perfectly with a delicious bun and side of chips. The Hampton Social arguably has the best happy hour around. Their extensive HH menu features a variety of drinks and food, including pizzas at half-price. The HH hours are weekdays from 3pm to 6 pm. Plenty of time to enjoy multiple items! The location is a bit difficult to get to (but that's what GPS is for) as it is nestled in a residential area near downtown Delray. Best parking option is in the garage underneath the restaurant. I had a glass of the house Pinot Grigio for $8. Rose and red wines are also available for the same price. My friend had a Coastal Sunrise, which is a tequila-based drink with mango, habanero. orange liqueur, lime and agave. What a delightful mix of sweet and spicy! Another friend had the Resort Water, which is also a tequila-based drink that includes cucumber, mint, lime, and agave. She enjoyed the refreshing flavor. We shared a formaggio cheese pizza, a Caesar salad that included bacon as well as croutons and lots of parm cheese, and the bang-bang chicken, which included sides of BBQ sauce and bang-bang chili sauce. The chicken appetizer was not on the happy hour menu and the portion size seemed a bit small for the $19 price. It was tasty though, and the dipping sauces were terrific. The atmosphere at The Hampton Social is festive with lots of natural light and a breezy nautical decor. They also have plenty of outdoor seating. The server was very pleasant and attentive, stopping by periodically to be sure our needs were being met. During our visit, an entertainer sang and played guitar in the background. The volume was just right, and she was very good. A perfect accompaniment to a delightful outing. I took a peak at the main menu and saw a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, and entrees. Hampton Social has so much going for it - a great staff with excellent service, good drinks, fantastic live music (at least when we were there) all in a nice comfortable semi-nautical themed environment. Why then the two stars? The food is just not good. I had been to Hampton Social years ago and recall not liking it much but decided to give it another shot especially since Atlantic Ave was so busy and we didn't feel like driving through traffic. I made the mistake of ordering the $40 Lobster Roll and it was mainly roll with not much lobster and I was kind of okay with that as I figured my smallish sandwich must have fresh quality lobster. It didn't. The lobster had no flavor, a chewy texture and was not fresh. We ordered several other items and while none were as bad the Lobster Roll nothing was in the good category. Hampton Social might work as a place to pre-game it before going to a better downtown Delray restaurant or maybe it's okay as a night ender for drinks. read more

This was my first time at The Hampton Social in Delray. Ive been to the Orlando location a few times and enjoy the ambience and tasty brunch. While in Delray, I stopped here because it was familiar and I wanted their octopus dish. I'm not sure if the Orlando location has a different menu, but this dish was not the same at all. We ordered two juices, a Bloody Mary, octopus, clam chowder, beet salad, and oysters. I was very disappointed in the food this go round. Everything was just okay, and for the price tag of $142, I expected the food to taste a lot better. The service was good and the decor is perfect for the restaurant but the food was sub-par. The live music was disappointing as well. I typically love the band or act that they feature, the artist had a great voice and played instruments which was awesome, but it sounded a little monotonous; there was no variation in the sound. All in all, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a cute restaurant that offers fairly good drinks. read more

Despite having a reservation, we decided to sit at the bar to catch the NFL games. Unfortunately, things went downhill from the moment we sat down. The seat I was given was wet, and when I mentioned it to the manager, the response was simply, "People come with wet bathing suits." No apology, no effort to make it right, just indifference. It took nearly five minutes to be greeted by the bartender, another five before receiving a glass of water, and close to ten more before she asked if we wanted to order something. When I inquired about a particular game, the reply was, "We don't have anything." After waiting more than 30 minutes for our drinks (which never arrived) we decided to leave. I normally extend grace to service staff, but since the bar was only at about half capacity, this experience clearly wasn't about being busy. It was simply poor service and a lack of care. We came here for dinner last night and we ordered the tuna appetizer one friend and I got the steak frites with chimichurri sauce and broccolini, and my other friend got the half chicken. All the food was exceptional! Steak was tender and cooked perfectly, I really like the spicy chimichurri sauce. The broccolini had a cheese sauce on top, it was also cooked perfectly, tasty and delicious. my other friend said his chicken was very good. The tuna appetizer was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the bartender who took care of us, David last name starts with a P was excellent. He was quick to take care of us, checked on us frequently, brought anything we needed just as quickly, and even told us at the end that the gratuity is already added onto the check. This is definitely something that my friends and I mentioned we really appreciate as many servers will hide this hoping that someone tips on top of the gratuity. Of course we took very good care of him for this reason. Highly recommend this restaurant, would absolutely come back again! Very cool vibe in this spot with lots of neat things to try. They make their own Rosé and use it in many different ways too. Appetizer was truffle parmesan fries and drinks. I went with a nice neat scotch and my wife had a tequila espresso martini. Next we ordered our main dishes. I went with a simple but delicious artisan pizza and she had the savory shrimp tacos. The pizza was thin, crispy, and not too greasy. The tacos were amazing! The tasty shrimp with the side of salsa was awesome. We finished off with another drink to relax. Love at first sight. As soon as I came in I was in awe with their large open space, comfortable seating, beautiful décor, and IG worthy walls. Our servers were with us immediately with water, menus and allowed us time to look it over and decide. We were there for brunch and decided to start with an Espresso Martini and the Spinach dip. Both absolutely amazing. The Martini is delicious, aromatic and strong. The dip, addictive. To pair our entrees we got the mimosa kit, presented with a full bottle of bubbly, 3 different juices and fresh fruit for garnish. This is a make your own so you know that mimosa will be right each time. I ordered the Chicken Stack, and can't say anything bad about it. What we got was more like a restaurant audition where the bar nailed the monologue and the kitchen forgot their lines. Food: * Tuna Tower: Totally fine, but the chips were the real headliner. The tuna did its job, but the chips showed up like, "Don't worry guys, I got this." * Brussels sprouts: We were told they were "amazing." They were... fine. Not bad, not memorable. The culinary equivalent of an "OK cool" text. * Salmon: Cooked very well done. If you enjoy salmon with a firm handshake and strong opinions, you're going to love it. I was hoping for something a little more... salmon-y. * Portions: Credit where it's due, portions were solid and felt fair. Service: Our server had the energy of someone who either just discovered the relaxing powers of low-dose tonic or simply decided caring was optional. We weren't ignored, but it definitely felt like we were being helped in the same way a vending machine helps you: eventually, something comes out, but there's no warmth in the transaction. Quick polite note: the tall blonde male server should be a little more mindful of where he's posted up, his positioning impacted our tables everytime he visited the next tablemiver. Nothing dramatic, just a little "excuse me, please be more mindful of your parts" moment. The highlight: The crafted cocktails. Legit enjoyable. The kind of drinks that make you forgive a lot, at least until the salmon arrives looking like it survived a campfire. Bottom line: Not a disaster, just a "meh." If you're already nearby and want a lively scene with good cocktails, it works.
