Our server was very knowledgeable and offered advice on his favorites. Parking was very difficult. There are not a lot of available spaces around 10am during the week. Prices are high, especially for a franchise/chain restaurant. Judging by what we were both served, it appears that they aren't using the freshest ingredients. We waited a long time for our food to arrive. Our omelets weren't cooked all the way through, and our potatoes were cold. We both sent back our dishes as they were completely inedible. Our waitress was not the nicest person, nor was she efficient. We were sitting in a booth across from the bar. She felt it was appropriate for the two of us to explain to her what was wrong by speaking loud enough for her to hear us from across the bar. Again, we were not sitting at the bar, so this was totally inappropriate behavior. We had so many issues with our meal, so we didn't have time to discuss an upcoming work project, which was the goal of us meeting up for breakfast. There are too many restaurants in this area to even consider returning. No pictures, as I was with a potential new client who isn't yet aware of my Yelp addiction. My boyfriend ordered the traditional breakfast with Scrambled Eggs,Home Fries, sausage patties, and English muffin. The home fries were super dry and overcooked. If not for the sausage gravy to drown them out I don't think he would have eaten them. I ordered the hash brown Benedict because it sounded interesting and our server said it was good. I could barely eat one. The poached eggs were overcooked and the inside of the hashbrown croquettes was tasteless. The mushroom hollandaise sauce tasted off to me. The regular grits were buttery and delicious and the only think i ate. Also the coffee was fresh and better than most places. Overall, a good experience. I had a basic two egg breakfast. The eggs were fixed just right. I had grits, which I thought were a bit runny and not quite hot enough. My biscuit was more bready than I like, not like a true southern biscuit. After my first cup of coffee I had to eventually flag down a server to get another pour. This is really about the catering. We ordered pancakes and french toast for a brunch for my daughter's sweet 16. I had an 11:00 am pick up- everything was almost ready on time. It was fine because by the time I walked to my car and back the rest of the roses was ready. Lenka, the kitchen manager was friendly and had told me she gave us syrup and powdered sugar as well The only reason I gave it a 4 star because I got an email from Broken Egg that I could order beignets and get them gratis. The manager told me that the catering is separate and that I would need to do this with an order in the restaurant or a regular take out. That was a bummer after spending a nice chunk of change with catering. He did say that he would accept it even past the deadline date. The pancakes and the french toast were both very good!! I have heard about this place and use to live close to the one that is by the Pembroke Lakes Mall, but never tried it out. My best friend and I were looking for a place to have a quick bite prior to our drive back to Broward County. I took a look at the menu and was sold right away. I ordered the Lobster Benedict which is a special/seasonal item from what I saw as well as the Shrimp and Grits (upgraded to City Grits) for my boyfriend. My best friend also ordered the shrimp and grits with a biscuit as well. The staff was very friendly. Our food was not ready as of yet when we got there, but it was a short wait. My Lobster Benedict was on a toasted everything bagel with 5 strips of asparagus. I was very surprised with that amount of lobster that was given. Some places mention lobster and you get just a few clumps. Here it was lobster galore, lol! I chose grits and added Jack cheese to it for my side item. Listen! I have to say that it was the best grits I have ever had aside from mine of course. It was creamy and hot which is best when eating. My entire meal was delicious delicious delicious. I honestly wished I had ordered more grits! When I got home I was searching for another location that was closer to me to see if can get more LOL. I had no luck though, but I plan on visiting the one in Pembroke Pines very soon. My best friend and boyfriend loved their Shrimp and Grits. Although my boyfriend ate his hours and hours later he said it was a plate of deliciousness. I love the fact that it didn't lose its creamy consistency even though it was in the fridge for hours. This place sucks, mainly because of the location. I've lived in the area for a few months and have avoided this restaurant and the plaza it's in. I hate these overcrowded plazas with nowhere near enough parking. But, I finally decided to order from here for the first time. It will be my last. There was literally no parking in the entire segment of the plaza. I thought I'd be smart, go find parking somewhere else, and call the restaurant to see if my food was ready. That way, I could pull up in front, run in, and run back out. Too bad they don't answer their phones!
