4 Stars for a First Watch with easy parking, reliable food, and lovely service (shout-out to our server, Todd). We met my father in law here for a quick lunch during his break and I went with: - Million dollar bacon: Four slices of hardwood-smoked bacon glazed with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a drizzle of syrup. It's irresistible. Like, I dare you to only have one strip of bacon. - Pesto chicken power bowl: Quinoa, kale, shredded carrots and house-roasted tomatoes topped with chicken breast, basil pesto sauce, lemon white balsamic dressing, Feta cheese and herbs. It's on the lighter side in terms of listed calories, but beware that it sometimes comes out pretty oily. It's olive oil, so *health*, but the calories likely add up. It's a huge portion, so I can usually take some to-go for later and the kale holds up. Other than that, I stay away from the juices because they're pretty sweet. I wish they had hot espresso drinks, but they currently only have cold brew, drip coffee, and iced coffee. Overall, standard location with friendly service. read more

In our journey to seek out a healthy sandwich for my mother-in-law, we remembered that first watch has some great menu items. They typically open from 7 AM to 2:30 PM and we arrived at 2 PM. It's always pretty busy inside, especially during the brunch hours. The ambiance is always airy and light inside. The host there was able to quickly take my husband's order and even went to the back to see if he could try and get it pushed up to the front of the line since it was just a sandwich. We got her the Monterey Club, which had turkey, bacon, avocado, organic mixed greens, tomato, Monterey Jack and mayo on sourdough bread. It also came with a side salad. Saturday morning is a great time to dine inside or outside under the covered patio. The service was quick to bring beverages and take our food order. I thought that it is strange that they served Iced coffee that is caffeinated, but if you want decaf iced coffee, they bring it hot with a tall glass of ice. The breakfast tacos were filled with fresh avocado slices on top and the Frittata was filled with fresh veggies. I like the non-traditional salad greens as a side dish. The restaurant interior is really nice with a feeling of old time nostalgia. The later the morning the more crowded the place gets but luckily there is plenty of parking. read more

First Watch has become our go to spot for breakfast because their service is great, the food always good and the ambiance perfect for the type dining it is. Our experience was a little to be desired. I did the 'check in' ahead - and when I got there and checked in they told me they would clean up the tables - I waited and waited. Finally, I had to ask someone else to help me because it wasn't happening. The food was a bit slow to arrive - a variety of pancakes, egg whites with turkey, bacon and more. Havent been here in a year or so. Just landed from a redeye flight, craving food and this was our to go spot. Service was fast but in point. Everyone there was really nice! Coffee was american, really light, not too strong tbh. My trifecta is can say the best scrambled eggs, not too dry, cheesy and perfectly seasoned. Biggest pancake i've ever seen but so good!! Sister had the french toast and scrambled eggs, crunchy and flavorful! We got there at 7:50 so it was really calm, clean and no noise. Went to First Watch today and had ordered broccoli cheddar soup with a sandwich and there was so much salt in the broccoli cheddar soup! I also tried their honey caramel crunch, iced coffee, but I had to turn it away because it had no taste to me. I've been to other locations never had an issue but today I was just so very discouraged. I don't know if I would go back to that location or to First Watch at all. I don't like that they don't give any type of senior discount or offer any type of coupon system if you frequent often. The service was mediocre. It wasn't busy so you wouldn't expect that. It was not to say the least the plate smelled like soap and typically I order something else but today I left the establishment still hungry. Also the glass container of water that was left on the table it had leftover residue on the inside of the glass and in the water itself. Don't waste your time at the Delray Beach location. My mother and I came in for lunch. It wasn't overly busy and there were restaurant staff running around all over the dining room, but we had to seat ourselves and we had to wait a while between being greeted and ordering our food. I had to get up several times to flag down waitstaff. Mom kept it simple and weird with Soup of the day, which was vegetable soup, and cheesy grits. She didn't like and didn't finish the soup. The grits she liked. The baked cheese on top is a new way for me, reminded me of French onion soup, but looked good. I had a club sandwich. A club ALWAYS has bacon in it. If it doesn't then it's just a turkey sandwich. Someone in the kitchen here needs to either slow down or take a lesson, bc my bacon was missing. After flagging the waitress down (again). I was given 3 cold slices of bacon to add to my sandwich. The club came with either fries or a salad. What I didn't expect was a pile of the same exact greens used inside the sandwich to be sitting dressed next to the sandwich as well. No onion or tomato or carrots- absolutely nothing. I'm surprised that they would serve this with the sandwich, considering the salad is already inside the sandwich. Wasn't what I was expecting and really wish that they would've put a little more thought into that side salad. i placed a door dash order to pick up myself with french toast. The french toast was literally liquid on the inside it was so raw that it started to BUBBLE when i pressed down on it, but the outside was dark brown, turn the heat down on your girddle! I complained on doordash and got a new order placed. I show up at the time it says it's ready and surpise it's not ready but the whole staff looks awfully confused because they likely haven't even started it! Not busy either by the way, at all. Returning an Amazon purchase to Whole Foods & we decided to check this place out for a late breakfast. Even though there are 310 of these units it felt and tasted like a local restaurant. Helpful hostess, a 5-minute wait (place was packed, always a good sign) and the menu was full of great choices & very affordable creative cocktails. You can choose healthy options or decadent ones too. Carbs be darned! Excellent cubed crispy potatoes & hearty sandwich. I signed up online for the First Watch "birthday club" some time ago and recently received a Happy Birthday email from them. In addition to them wishing me a happy birthday, they sent me a birthday gift of buy one breakfast, brunch or lunch entree/get one free. I asked my husband if he wanted to go to First Watch today and he did. We went to the location on Linton Blvd in Delray Beach which is one of their newer locations. We arrived around 12:30pm and only a few tables were taken. We waited for the hostess to come to the front and seat us and then we looked at the menu. Our very sweet and efficient server Jesse quickly came over to ask if either one of us would be having coffee. I told her I would and she immediately brought me a cup. The insulated coffee carafe, half and half and flavored creamers were already on the table. We ordered scrambled eggs and avocado toast for me and chocolate chip pancakes and a side of fried potatoes for my husband. I was super impressed with the taste of the thick cut bread they used for the avocado toast. I rarely notice bread but this bread was 5 stars on it's own!! Both of our dishes arrived quickly and we were impressed with how delicious they were. Jesse stopped by to ask if there was anything else that we wanted before giving us the check. I really enjoyed eating at this location as it is sun-filled and still cool from the A/C. Other groups of people arrived while we were eating and it never got loud which I appreciated. I felt that the atmosphere in this location was very calming, serene, just the right temperature and Jesse's warm smile added to the experience. As for the check, $8.79 (for the pancakes) was deducted per the buy one/get one entree birthday gift as the pancakes was the cheaper entree. Bottom line- the food was great! We come here often for breakfast looking to see if it's different every time but unfortunately our food constantly comes out wrong. I am not one to send food back but they also cannot seem to make our eggs correctly, they had to be remade almost every time. I always look forward to enjoying this place on the weekends. Someone always greets me pleasantly and finds me a table for 2. Servers are extra nice and they check on every table. My coffee is in a carafe so it stays nice and hot, plus I don't need to ask for refills. When the kitchen was slow this morning, our server let us know and I appreciated that. This was not their best day... I have tried most of the First Watch locations around the area (Boca Raton - Delray Beach) and they are consistently good! I highly recommend them. However, today I decided to try this one on Linton Blvd. due to the fact that there was not a wait. I ordered an omelette and my wife ordered some french toast. The french toast was overcooked (completely burnt on one side), but they offered to replace it. My omelette was very bitter and upon further inspection, I noticed that all the onions were completely burnt (not cooked, but burnt!). Also, our waiter never came to check on us. We had to ask a busboy to help us with the french toast, etc. The juice was delicious though! It was probably just a bad day, but I am hesitant to come back to this location.
