Completely laid back, feel-good atmosphere. The place was full when I arrived, so shared a large enough table with another guest, who was welcoming. I tried their Breakfast Sandwich w/Bacon, Egg and Cheese (8.0). It was a little dry so didn't score as high as it might. Well made... next time I'll advise when I order to avoid that. Everything in the case looked great and a nice clientele that clearly love it here... lots of regulars. Based on this spot, I look forward to trying their location in West Delray, which is closer to me. Excellent service. read more

Popping in for coffee before hitting Delray Beach, Carmela's vanilla and cinnamon latte was good- creamy, sweet, and balanced. My eight-year-old daughter enjoyed their strawberry lemonade. The inside is spacious with tables inside and out. The space is clean as is the restroom in the back. read more

Stopped with a friend for coffee & cheese croissant; $19.04. They up charged me $.90 for almond milk ( did not tell me upfront), they up charged me $.43 for using my Visa( did not tell me upfront, plus it's against the law, since they claim it as a business expense at the end of they year & off set it against their earnings). The place is pleasant & has plenty of parking. Most people come for coffee with their lap top. I think it's not cheap for what I got. read more

Great coffee and food and excellent service! Jacob is one of the most conscientious, professional, and friendly baristas I've ever known and I visit a lot of coffee shops. This is a local chain with a few different locations. The food itself was pretty good, but as far as the coffee is concerned I've had way better in other local places. I ordered a cold brew and it was terrible. I'd definitely be back for the food, but would grab coffee elsewhere first. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was pretty quick. read more

I just loved the vibe in hear. Currently it's decorated for Christmas and you can't help but feel at any moment some big city girl is gonna walk in and fall in love with a home town barista out of a hallmark movie ! I ordered a cappuccino and an ice latte. All their fixings on the table were so neatly organized so you could find the right sugar or alternative sugar you make want to use. The staff was very friendly. read more

Kinda over priced . Minimal effort minimal flavor, Avocado toast was barely even toasted . Just smashed avocado with arugula and Parmesan cheese ... should def lower the price if it's such a simple dish . Vanilla oat milk latte was good and redeeming factor that made this place a three star. Service was very friendly . Nice ambiance Value ehh .. read more

run, don't walk friends. Carmela coffee shop is absolutely incredible! The atmosphere is welcoming, open, and clean. Staff is attentive and friendly. I absolutely loved having the chicken and sweet potatoes bowl - it was healthy, full of flavor and filling. I would 100% get this again, I just came from a workout session at Atlas fitness & performance down the street and this was the perfect after workout lunch. My friend had the carmela chicken salad and kept talking about how delicious it was and how she has had multiple food items and has never had a bad meal. Will make a point to come back here when i'm visiting Delray in the future. This should be a staple to anyone who lives locally and a must-visit to anyone driving through the area. read more

This place I discovered recently, being I was in the area and needed a coffee house to do some work and take a business call. The interior is grand, as I really like the layout, between the lounge area, table seating, and booth seating, with plenty of outlets to plug in electronics. I ordered just an iced coffee on this specific day, but the beverage kept me caffeinated, locked, and loaded as I did some work remotely. I would like to return to try one of the avocado toast items they have available and their other sandwich options. They do look like they have a lovely selection of coffee and beverages to enjoy whether you need to work or want to hang out. The only drawback during my time there was that the coffee house tends to play the background music quite loud, so if you are on a business call, you may want to take it outside. Not sure if it was just that day, but that was the one observation I noticed. Parking is available in the lot they share with other businesses off of 6th Avenue on U.S. 1 North. Very easy to access without having to look off the beaten path for sure when you need a coffee fix that's not directly in downtown Delray on the main drag. read more

A great little spot with a beautiful atmosphere. It's perfect if you want to sit back and work or study. The place is big enough to make you feel alone. It has booths, tables, and sofa areas for you to pick. The coffee was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was the best coffee I've ever had, but it was nice. The staff was very friendly and super attentive - although, I was the only one ordering. I went for an empanada (quite expensive given the size) but the flavor was absolute there! I'm not sure if you still get the avocado and tomato salad in the side if you get this to go, but it was an unexpected treat that I really liked. read more

Love, Love love the vibe in here. What a really cute spot. My first time in one! Decor is so nice. We ordered a ice cappuccino, a regular hot coffee. I had the fig jam, with Brie cheese on a toast. Omg delicious! My friend had the Queen , chicken salad with arugula on toast. Everything was great. You have to bus your own table, and that is fine! They bring you the food on a wooden block. Very cool. read more

I went here four mornings in a row. Coffee was decent enough but the employees and service are sub-par. Always smiling, tipping and using manners, I never once got a "thank you" or "you're welcome" or the slightest smile. When I would attempt any small talk they would ignore me. Rude employees! read more

This is a nice coffee shop with lots of seating and a clean aesthetic. The coffee had many unique flavors and milks to choose from. i got a standard iced coffee with oat milk, which was nutty and creamy. My friend got cookie dough syrup in his coffee, which he said was pretty good. The food came out super fresh. The rustic grilled cheese came with four different cheeses; there was a little too much cheese and messy, and not all the cheese was melted. I'd give it a 7/10. My friend also got the Turkey sandwich which he said was good. I got a chicken empanada, which was chewy and seasoned well! Would definitely come back. read more

The cafe is a nice place to sit, read, etc. unfortunately the coffee is pretty awful. Very watered down and weak.

Coffee is a 1/0. Tastes like water with a dash of milk and zero espresso. So bad I got up and left my drinks on the table and of course the workers didn't care and watched me leave. I'm sure they know the coffee is trash too so can't really blame them. read more

I was excited to come here but quickly disappointed. Don't expect to sit down and eat here everybody was using this place like a library. A party of two couldn't even sit and eat because every place was taken but someone not eating and maybe 3 people had coffee and one person had food. And the place was at full capacity. And to spend 40 dollars for 2 people is ridiculous if your business is going to function like a library. Horrible business model. Also the parking spaces is for golf carts read more
