Really good handmade food with great quality ingredients. It is different from other lunch and breakfast places in the area of Mizner. The service is friendly and caring. But consistent with the European flare, lunch is meant to be eaten slowly. Don't come here if you are in a rush. It is a great place and environment to sit down and savor. In short: A refreshingly fresh cafe . I met my bestie here after Pilates on a Monday late morning . This adorable cafe is located in downtown Boca Raton on Palmetto road. It is said to be inspired by French and German culture and this is apparent in the ambiance. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was transported to a quaint European cafe. The Glass cases with beautifully crafted croissants and pastries are hard to ignore but luckily god gave me the strength that day . Anyway , it was a beautiful Florida winter day and I opted to sit in the ample outdoor seating. The barista happily brought my adorable latte out (which had a bear on it! ) and our food as well. I had a quiche Lorraine which was scrumptious and came with fresh fruit and a side salad. This was an adorable find with friendly faces and divine food/ coffee. Sitting hungry in my vehicle at the Mizner Blvd intersection facing east and noticed the Palmetto Park Shoppes with a corner café offering rare free parking and made an abrupt right turn into the lot. Covered wrap around patio seating behind huge romanesque pillars and the massive cinderblock walls really set the tone for a classic Euro café. Before entering, the wide glass windows allowed a peek into the café displaying a continued Euro theme. There was no shortage of the Cafè Chéri name prominently plastered against the walls with a strong scent of waffles blasting through my nostrils. My wife and I gazed at the amazing chocolates and quietly mumbled Whoa! Well maybe NOT quietly. It was too early for dessert, so we chose a large Ratatouille Quiche and took a seat at a table elegantly garnished with a low flower bouquet which was inviting. The owner served us the quiche over wax paper stamped with the Café Chéri name and on a white plate. The top had a beautiful light charred crust over a generous portion of exposed veggies. Slowly made that first anticipated cut into the one inch thick quiche to expose a fluffy texture loaded with more veggies. We loved the fresh taste of the quiche and the crust definitely hit the mark. Not too sure how difficult it was to make the quiche, but with each chew it was evident that it was made with love. The virtually spotless gender neutral bathroom boasted shiny mini brick pattern mosaic tile flooring with a white deep rectangular wall mounted sink. The toilet seat hinge was broken, therefore, proper use was an issue (see pic). Just a minor issue which can easily be resolved. On my next visit, I will come early to try the waffles. read more

What a very pleasant lunch stop in Boca today! Right on Mizner Blvd, this place is an attractive restaurant with tables inside and outside. Pleasant and bright inside and greetings, as we entered and waited to place our order. Once your order is placed you are given a golden numbered table standard and your meal and beverages are brought to you when ready. I ordered a Tuna Salad on a baguette which came with a nice mixed greens salad and a fruit cup. Everything I had was delicious! (I made it easy for the dishwasher) Wish I had left room for one of the pastries, especially that Vanilla Eclair that kept calling out to me! I did purchase a Torta de la Nona to take home for my Sweetheart! We shall return! Easy accessible parking in their lot off Mizner. read more

I stopped by to try this new French bakery, and it is absolutely stunning. The vibes are beautiful -- elegant, airy, and perfect for a date, getting work done, or catching up with friends. There's also great parking behind the restaurant, which is a big plus. I ordered the Caprese croissant, and it was delicious. It came with a light salad, and the portion was surprisingly generous. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Service was great! I'm already looking forward to going back and trying a matcha or a latte. Such a lovely addition to the area! read more

We had a very good lunch here. The restaurant t is easy to find -- on the NE corner of Mizner and Palmetto. And it conveniently has a parking lot right beside it. All sorts of coffees and pastries abound, but we were here for lunch. They have a number of sandwiches and you can choose the type of bread you want them to be on. My husband got their tuna on a baguette and I got an egg sandwich on a baguette. Both sandwiches come plated with a side salad -- mixed greens with tomatoes, peppers, black olives, red onions -- and a small bowl of fresh fruit -- strawberries and blueberries and melon. The sandwiches were large and cut in half. My egg sandwich had slices of hard boiled egg, tomato slices, cucumber slices, and greens. It was very good. To drink, I got a decaf iced americano coffee with milk. The coffee was smooth --not at all bitter like Starbucks. And to go, I had to get a slice of tarta de nonna -- my favorite light lemon short bread with pine bud and powdered sugar. Prices are quite reasonable -- especially since this is Boca. And portions are large. I'd definitely like to return to try some of their croissants and eclairs and other sandwich varieties, too. read more

Please see my prior recent review. For reasons unknown I was attempting to add photos and Yelp requested a new review. Well, that's easy. Cafe Cheri has gotten better over time, if that's possible. Service is on point, even during busy lunch period. It's obvious many clients care tourists to East Boca, staying at The Boca, and they walk past this location when the resort shuttle bus drops them at the Pavillon tab the end of Palmetto Park Road. Their eyes open in glee when they look at ball the cakes and pastries, as tasty as they are beautiful. Some jut get a takeout coffee or cappochino, while other are more adventuresome and patient to wait for one of their several sandwiches. Good Ambiance was aesthetically pleasing. Gold decorations with modern furniture. The inside is beautiful, clean, and inviting. I ordered a vanilla latte which came with a nice cookie to dip. The icing on the cake was the water that was nestled right on the side of the coffee. I ended the experience with a ricotta cheesecake which was delicious. Bad However, the service fell short. The coffee took longer than normal. The server served our drinks to another party. I had to go inside to get the desert I ordered. read more

Such a relaxing Euro cafe in Mizner Park at the corner of the plaza. The owner served me a big veggie quiche. Was going to take it to go and walk around the area but it was freezing outside so sat in the cute dining room. The quiche was heated up and the peas and carrots tasted fresh with a fluffy texture. Love to try new places so I was in the area stopped in this restaurant very well decorated very cute inside we had the tuna salad sandwich. It was good also had the quiche. It was just OK and had the avocado toast which was very good. Everything came with a side of fruit and a little bit of salad had a piece of ricotta cheesecake which was very good but it was a small piece for $8.25 and they said it comes in frozen from Italy on the pricey side café but the best thing it has. It has parking on the side where it's free and easy to get into the restaurant That is a big plus for people in downtown Boca. read more

Stopped in for brunch today. Tuna salad on baguette was delicious as well as pastries. The one thing I did not appreciate was the fact that they would not give you a 2nd cup of brewed coffee at no charge. I might could understand this if you just ordered coffee and sat there forever. My friend and I decided to meet up in the morning for coffee at Cafe Cheri to chat and catch up. It's such a relief that parking was not an issue. It's such a cozy set up inside and outside. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and we chose to sit inside. The staff is friendly and attentive. Its a very nice cafe with nice people running it. They serve in real dishware and its a bit elegant which is nice. Vienna coffee was really good. The chocolate chunk muffin had a lot of good chocolate but the muffin was overcooked (a bit burnt it seems) and dry; that shouldnt have been served and its pricey for that. Brand new French German cafe opened with a beautiful ambiance! Love all the details and thought that went into the decor and comfy seating areas! The menu has a variety of food options for breakfast and lunch including incredible desserts! The service was excellent and because they're new they are a hot spot and very busy. We ordered the Egg sandwich (hard boiled eggs, tomato, lettuce and cucumber on whole grain bread. Iced Matcha Latte and banana caramel latte which all were delicious and the sandwich was incredibly tasty! We will definitely be back to try more items! Here in the land of fakeness we have real. & Authentic ? Such a pleasure ! I am blown away! AND it's right in my hood of downtown Boca Raton & with my name Cheri Cherie that's me! My kind of place to relax & eat simple fresh generous portions I am in HEAVEN plus tasty sweets croissants & such & I'm told this is just the beginning? Oh! I had a very nice croissant sandwich with egg, cucumber lettuce & tomato; it was accompanied with a lovely salad & fresh fruit with berries they are not scrimping. Everything was delicious! I also had a mocha latte decaf with a pretty design inside made by the server who also is very nice. $8 for a latte and they're using Costco milk. Not only was it a not good latte but the price is completely insane. They charge $9 for a chocolate croissant which is being sold at Crema in Mizner for $6. Very disappointed. read more
