THIS IS A VERY RELAXED RESTAURANT. The pricing is very good & affordable & the portions are huge! This is a no frills restaurant, but the food is good & it is clean. There are NO reservations. You come in, place your name on a virtual waiting list, & wait to be called. At 1240 pm on Sunday afternoon, it took my family 30 minutes to be seated. We talked and waited & did not feel upset by the wait. If you don't have time to wait, choose a restaurant that accepts reservations. On to the food, I ordered the kids pancake, with an egg & bacon and was absolutely stuffed. The portion sizes are huge. The French toast is phenomenal. It's perfectly crispy on the outside & soft and fluffy on the inside. I haven't had French toast this good in a very long time. The ham steak is cooked / seared very well & is not rubbery. The bacon strips are huge & flavorful. The waffle is beautifully crispy outside & soft inside. The pancakes are perfect. 10/10 And the service is beyond warm and helpful. Pros-pancakes are best in Boca-I told the manager that and he graciously thanked me. Staff was friendly. So I've been several times since my initial visit. When family/friends come to visit, I ALWAYS brought them there. Then.... I went with a friend and we enjoyed our meal. Had not seen her in ages, so we sat/yapped a while. We asked the waitress if she wanted us to move quicker so that she can have the table. She said "O no, I'm fine." Half an hour later, she said "You need to leave!" 1) we OFFERED to move earlier and she said no need. 2) we were sitting there quietly, enjoying our coffee & company. WE WERE APALLED! HOW RUDE OF HER! I searched for the manager and he/she was nowhere to be found. I have not been back since. Some friends I told about the incident now refuse to go there. We enjoyed this place so much that we went two days in a row :) Food was great, the staff is very friendly and everyone seems to enjoy working there, I love that! This place was just okay. We were able to get seated early but you can tell it's a restaurant people frequent often and order for pick up. The restaurant was decent, nothing fancy but overall okay. Service was good and prompt. The three stars were due to the food being just okay. The grits were horrible. Honestly the worst grits I've ever had. Took one bite and left it there. Stopped at KeKe's Breakfast Cafe for brunch today. And as usual, the place blew me away. I ordered the combo which included a waffle with apples and cinnamon and sugar, along with eggs and bacon. Oh, did I mention the side car of whipped cream. We had our favorite server Theresa who did a phenomenal job of giving us the best service that this restaurant offers. You really can't go wrong with breakfast from Keke's. This location has been here for several years now - I remember when the only time I could get my hands on breakfast from Keke's was on a trip to Orlando. Thankfully, that has changed! If you're going on the weekends, expect to wait - unless you happen to be God's favorite and manage to snag a table right a way. In that case, also pickup a lotto ticket. But nonetheless, they are well worth the wait! In my experience, service is always friendly and prompt which is appreciated when you're in tow with a hungry fiancée and 6yo child. Breakfast for the three of us was around $50 which considering the amount of food we were served was fair imo. What a great breakfast place! We went on a weekday and there was maybe a 5 minute wait. I ordered the Keke's Special. I chose 2 French toast (upgraded to apple-cinnamon flavor for an additional fee). You then get 2 sides and I chose scrambled eggs (with feta cheese) and a small sunshine bowl (fruit was also an additional fee). There was a ton of food and it was all very good! Usually fruit bowls can be a miss with just basic fruit, but this sunshine bowl was fresh with decent fruit. Theresa was our server and she was friendly and great at refilling waters. Every time I go to Kekes I regret it. Their pancakes are honestly very good and fluffy. Their bacon is disgusting though. It tastes like rubber, there's no meaty taste in it. They must be buying the cheapest kind they can get. I've been here a few times before and for some reason everything else on the menu aside from the pancakes tastes terrible! The hot chocolate was among with REAL whipped cream. No Redi-Whip here. Our order was pretty standard. The hubby has the combo with eggs over hard, country fried steak, cheesy grits and a buttermilk pancake. I had the silver dollar buttermilk pancakes with home fries covered in cheese and bacon and some turkey bacon (well done) on the side. EVERYTHING was fresh. It was well seasoned, tasty, and delicious. The pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever eaten. They were fluffy, light, buttery and just amazing. Everything we ate was deeee-licious and we will definitely be back. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were perfect. The sides were actually fit for two-three people. It is importantly that I mention that they have stuffed French toast. You heard me STUFFED French toast. The table next to us had an order stuffed with fruit and cream cheese (maybe, could have been some kind of cream). It looked amazing and that is what I will be ordering next time. I'm not a big breakfast person but Keke's is amazing. I ordered the mini stack of pancakes through uber eats and i immediately loved it. I began ordering it for brunch often and always tried something new. Sometimes i would eat the pancakes a few hours later and they would still taste really good, It's one of those places where the pancake tastes so good that you don't need to add the syrup or any toppings for that matter. I've had the breakfast combo where i had sunny side up eggs with sausage and bread and i even had the yogurt parfait which comes with berries and granola. I ordered it so much that some of my coworkers began ordering from here and they all loved it. read more

I have been coming to KeKe's for the last 6 years or so regularly. I love it here. It is almost a comforting ambiance. Servers and hosts/hostesses are REAL ... Not at all phony or superficial. That genuine nature of the staff has become a rarity anymore. Every experience is pleasant! I look forward to each visit. As you are leaving they always wish you a lovely day on one's way out the door. In my opinion, the overall experience is worth every penny paid for the food. I love the eggs (cooked to order).
