We came for lunch. The restaurant is located in an older strip with a couple other restaurants and stores -- on the north side of the street. We parked outside in their lot. Inside, it looks like an old diner with booths, tables, and a counter. They have breakfast all day except for one discuss limited go before 11 am. My husband had their waffle breakfast. The two small oval waffles cans on the side. The main plate had two runny eggs, bacon, and some undercooked potatoes mixed with onions. He said of it all, the waffles were the better part, but barely. He took most of the potatoes home -- they improved a bit with some more cooking. I had their southern fried shrimp and sweet potato fries. There were half a dozen shrimp well coated in corn meal and overcooked. The sweet potato fries were very good. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

Brunch sounded good so we stopped in here. As we walked in a young behind the counter area was on the phone and told us to sit anywhere. Our first choice of booths had not been cleaned or cleared. Our second choice was fine. They were not busy so the server brought over menus and asked for our drink orders. I chose the eggs and waffle special. My wife asked about the Southern Fried shrimp, trying to determine what type of batter they were fried in. Our server replied , "shrimp". She then said they had flour. Turns out when the Southern Fried shrimp arrived they had a thick cracker meal coating. My eggs were runny, the bacon was under cooked, the potatoes were OK. As we ate I spotted another table by the window that sat "unbussed" our entire time.

I randomly stumbled upon this place through Instacart and even delivered this food was amazing. Let me start off by saying I am not a big breakfast person so the fact that this place has me a chokehold is ridiculous. The pancakes had the perfect fluff as well crispy edges, which was a huge thing. The chicken is fried to perfection as well as seasoned to perfection. They have sauce as you can add on if you want to, but honestly, you really don't need it. Then me I got was a chicken and waffles but because I want pancake pancakes, I substituted it for no charge. Not pictured was the hash and corn beef with the country links, which my boyfriend loved. This is our fourth time having this food in the past couple months and we had to go in person to see it. Honestly, even though we're moving farther away , this restaurant has gained a big follower.

Where to start! As a person who loves all types of atmospheres when dining The Breakfast Club is welcoming and comfortable. As a fan of the movie, I was initially drawn to the name and all day breakfast. Once I arrived the service and food confirmed I made a great decision. The service was quick and the food - amazing! I ordered Denise's Breakfast Special - $10 for 2 eggs, 3 sausage links, 2 slices of toast AND a bowl of the best grits I've had in years. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich on croissant (massive) with fried potatoes. He's picky about his fried potatoes and commented they were fabulous. If you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to check out The Breakfast Club - Heads down forks up! FYI: they also serve lunch

I visited The Breakfast Club in Pompano this morning after a walk on Pompano Beach. I had been there for the first time last week and absolutely loved it, so I was excited to bring my sister along this time. While the customer service was still top notch, the food experience was a bit different this time. I ordered the chicken and waffles again, but noticed that the waffles were a bit harder and darker in color compared to last week. They were still good, but not as soft as I had hoped. Since I dont eat meat on Good Friday, I decided to save my chicken for tomorrow, but my sister mentioned that the chicken was good, just a bit over-fried. It seemed like either someone wasn't paying attention or there was a different chef on duty. The chicken and waffles with two fried eggs was for $16, which i think is a good deal. I was told that all flats would be a $2 upcharge, so i said forget it. However, I was disappointed to find that out of the five wings, only one was a flat and the rest were drums. Same with my sister's meal. A better balance would have been appreciated. Despite this off day, I would still return because my first experience was fantastic, and I believe they just had an off day. The food is still good, and the customer service remains excellent. If you're in the area, I recommend checking them out, just keep in mind it might be hit or miss depending on the day. It was a holiday so there was a good amount of people dining in and coming in for takeouts. There was good music being played. Nice laid back ambiance.

READ ME!!!!!! We almost did not come here. Less than 4 stars? Plenty of other places, Right!?! Well, those 3.7 stars as of this report have been hard earned. There are some 1-2 star reviews for some really ridiculous reasons. We found this place welcome and inviting, the music was a bit loud, but it was great music, so hard to fuss about that - see, I am dogging to complain. Clean inside, coffee was made fresh, food cooked to order and served by a lovely young lady with a smile.

Good quick casual diner vibes . Stopped here while on vacation and it hit the spot for a good down home breakfast . The food came out quick and everything was seasoned and cooked well. Good service, small place so I imagine when it's busy they could be slower but when we went it was not too busy.

The restaurant was easy to find. I loved the name. It is a casual spot with a good atmosphere going on. It is cozy inside with good music choice playing. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The staff kept checking on us. That was awesome. The place looked like a local spot. I got the biscuits and gravy. That gravy was delish. It was pintch spicy, and it had a lot of flavor. I wanted more of it. I had a hard time deciding. The shrimp and grits sounded good, but something else caught my eye. The cornbeef hash was good. It was a good amount of food. The price was fair, and everything I had tasted great. I need to come around this town more often. They do a good breakfast. I do need to come back lunch now lol.

Nothing special but good portion of food and was just ok . They do alot of take out so even though you're there they'll cook as per order not hurry your order cause you're there . Took 20 min in an empty restaurant to get my order

The food was great! I had shrimp and grits! The grits were very creamy. The shrimp were just on point. The seasoning was perfect their biscuits. Oh my God delicious I gave it 4.5 stars on everything. It was good. Now the customer service I would say the waitress need to be a little more alert I had to ask her for a spoon. I had to ask her for napkins but other than that the food was delicious and yes, I will come back even if I have to take a drive

Real nostalgic country cooking in addition to modern favorites. The interior even gives classic diner/breakfast restaurant. They do have non-breakfast items but we always go for breakfast

I wish I could give a better review. We came from Vegas and this restaurant came recommended from our folks in Houston. We were disappointed to say the least. I gave 3 stars because our waitress was nice and her dad (the manager) had just been arrested and was sitting in the police car when we walked up. She seemed very upset but she was still able to take our order and keep everything together while her dad went to jail. I also gave 3 stars because the prices were reasonable. The food was not seasoned and it wasn't good at all. The cheese on the grits was a Kraft slice ripped in half and the grits were not good. The shrimp still had the shell on it on the shrimp and grits The pancakes tasted like protein pancakes and The syrup was in a shampoo bottle. The meat lovers omelette was burnt and the eggs were not cooked at all. The water tasted like straight tap water. The other waitress that brought our food out was rude asf. It was also hot in there and there were a few flies flying around.

They tell you to wait to be seated, yet there is no one assigned to seat guests. The waiters can clearly see there is a line, but no one takes the initiative to step up and seat anyone. Management seems very unorganized. They should assign one person specifically to seat guests, and when there is no wait, that person could float and assist elsewhere. After waiting, I finally asked a waiter if I could seat myself. I sat down and waited almost 10 minutes, and no one even came to offer water. At that point, I decided to get up and take my business elsewhere. The service today was horrible, and it seems that as they get busier, the service gets even worse. I do not recommend this place at all.

It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

Housekeeping staff are super kind, and anything we needed arrived quickly! The negative: Don't waste your money! We paid $400+ per night (amenities included, valet separate) and found out the hotel sells $45/day passes to non-guests. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.
