The best donuts you'll ever have. Must stop every time I'm in Florida, been going here for years! Their French cruller and jelly filled donuts will ruin all other donuts for you...they're that good. And if the sour cream donut is fresh it's unreal. The cutest little old school diner - we come for breakfast too and it's always 10/10. There's one woman server who is always there and we love her! They do a bakers half-dozen also which isn't common (you get a 7th donut free when you get 6). Seriously, the best. read more

Came in for a dozen donuts for agency visits and I was so impressed with the variety. They also look so good and fresh. They also have bagels, hot breakfast items and soups. Which I will have to come back and try. I'm sad the espresso machine was down when I came to visit so I wasn't able to try those drinks but they made me an iced coffee that was delicious. read more

Passed by the location and remembered having a pistachio muffin at school. I love pistachios so had to go in and get one. Of course, I ended up seeing some speciality donuts and one popped out at me mounds .. yum dark chocolate with coconut . Both were delicious no I didn't eat them all at once but halfway . Not a big donut person per se but speciality ones so hot the sweet tooth spot. read more

Just moved to the neighborhood. Was recommended this place for regular shmegular donuts. Happened to drive by and immediately pulled over at 6:30pm. Luckily Theyre open 24/7!!!! Finally! A normal donut! I'm so sick of these places opening up where they put a whole meal on them. Tried my fav sugar donut, they call it churro. There's another donut called old fashioned and the lady working said the difference is churro is a fluffy donut, old fashioned is a cake donut. It taste fresh, and fluffy! My partner had this cinnamon swirl kind. It was good! Better than other donut places. A donut was like $2.80? They had other things too, breakfast and coffee. I really liked this place and will definitely come again. read more

Craved a good donut and knew right where to go. Dandee's Donut does not disappoint. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, the location is reminiscent of an older location. The donut variety was good and we were happy with the selection. The donuts were fresh and delicious. My favorite is the sour cream glazed, and spotlight. Delicious delicious deliciousness! Wish there was a close location towards Miami. But when in Pompano, this is a great place to stop! read more

They are very fast and efficient and priced reasonably as well. Also a great little location as you head toward the coast. Only been to another Dandee location once, so this time as we drove by it made me hungry for a quick snack. My wife is a Dandee Donut virgin and she was astonished by the moist taste and size of the donuts on display. While waiting in a short line, the baker brought out a tray of massive cranberry muffins and the scent emanating from the bakery overwhelmed my senses. The Sour Cream donut was our choice and it did not disappoint. I tried to get a pic of it but it was so moist that it fell apart in my hand as I attempted to remove it from the carryout bag. Every bite was spectacular and consistent with the other location. read more

As with other restaurants, Dandee is part of our "annual vacation" ritual. First night on vacation, and after dinner at Flanigans, we head to Dandee for our week's supply of tasty donuts. This is a real treat for us, as we don't eat donuts back home! However, this trip was a bit disappointing. There were so many varieties that were out of stock. Never saw that before (it's 11 pm, not 3 am). We still bought a good mix of donuts, but our top choices (what? no key lime donuts??) weren't there. read more

If you want a great, not just a good but a great doughnut. This is the place the only place and the people are so friendly store manager was excellent. Who waited on us and just made it really fun to pick out all these donuts. Thank you very much. Had a great experience. read more

I recently stopped in for a quick bite to eat. I've been here many times to order donuts to go, but as I had more time, I decided to take a seat at the counter. Dandee is nothing fancy, but it's clean and if you're looking for that classic diner, long loved spot, you will find it here. Whenever I have sat at the counter, I've always found myself engaged in fun conversation with the people around me and the server. But for the introverts out there, you don't have to engage with the other chatty customers and there are also several tables as well. Breakfast here is solid, and they have the usual items you would expect on a diner menu. The coffee is good and the server will keep your mug topped off. I've always found the service to be great both at this location and the one in Deerfield Beach. If you are quick for time, you'll be happy to know that food comes out fairly quickly from the kitchen. The donuts are the star that brings most of the customers in. One of my favorites is the sour cream doughnut. There are so many different types to choose from that it can even be difficult when packing a Baker's dozen box to go. There is a reason that this place has been here for decades. It's also one of the only places in the area that is open 24 hours....like a true diner! read more

I love a local spot! I was introduced to this lovely little spot recently and I didn't know I needed it this entire time. Well worth it! The donut factory is so cute. When you walk in you can tell it's been around for a while. Reminds me of an old school diner in a movie. The service was great, they were quick and attentive. I can't wait to go back and grab a sour cream donut ! That was an amazing donut! read more

Great old time atmosphere with below average donuts. Cute old time looking donut shop in the heart of East Pompano. This place hasn't changed inside in at least 20 years. Cute diner bar seating, some even sunken like a 70s living room, helps with the allure and charm of this donut shop that's been here since I first moved to Pompano several decades ago. I found myself back in town and had to stop into the staple that is Dandee Donuts, but the ambiance is about where it stops. The service was okay at best. Despite being very busy (it took a while to even get a parking spot), they only had 1 person working the register for orders, even though they were fully staffed. As for the donuts, below average is being generous. Most were flavorless mounds of airy dough. The chocolate bar one with nuts in it was nearly inedible, their signature donut was not worth even the first bite - much less a second one, and the mochi donuts were either hard or completely devoid of flavor. The muffins, however, are the only reason I didn't give 1 star. They were huge, dense, and tasty. We tried pistachio (my son's favorite flavor right now) and blueberry. Both were good and we will probably try others next time we're in town, but will definitely skip on the donuts. I honestly can't remember if they were ever good or just a staple in the area that stays open late. read more

Known for their outstanding donuts which, I can sadly attest to one too many times, whenever I'm in town I always stop there for another reason... their Taylor Ham and egg sandwich. If you're from the northeast, especially the New York, New Jersey area, you know only too well the draw of a Taylor Ham and egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll and Dandy Donuts does it perfectly. And, as an added bonus, you get to enjoy one of their delicious donuts as a dessert. Who could ask for anything more! read more

Amazing friendly service from Mark, Sandy and the crew - always. The breakfasts and sandwiches at Dandee are great diner food. You can't beat it. The donuts are always next level no matter what you order and they bake them fresh round the clock! Try to steak egg and cheese on a house made plain bagel and you'll wonder why you ever ordered fast food breakfast sandwiches anywhere else! The store is always clean and the donuts are always restocked. The staff is friends and the restaurant it bright and clean. Always. The patio is a great place to enjoy a coffee and some wonderful south Florida sunshine. read more

What a delightful little spot! My friends have been telling me about this place for a while now, and we happened to be in the area this evening. We all decided to stop in for something seeet. First of all this place is open 24/7, you can't beat that for those late night sweet cravings. Immediately when I walked in, I felt like I was walking back into what I feel like would be a 70s 80s type restaurant theme. There is an array of menu items, from breakfast to some lunch options and definitely lots of sweet treats and baked goods. When I saw how plump their Boston Cream donut looked I knew I had to get one, it was fresh, very soft, and packed with that delicious cream filling, one of my all time favorites. My friends opted for the half a dozen donut variety, which all looked absolutely delicious.. I also ordered one pistachio muffin, which we all picked out for a little while, to realize how moist and delicious it was, after we finished it I went up to the counter and ordered a half dozen to take into my office tomorrow. I did a variety of flavors; corn, lemon, pistachio of course, chocolate, and a blueberry. The staff working inside, the restaurant were friendly and welcoming. I can certainly see why they have been around for so many years, and why they're open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Their donuts along with their baked goods are fresh and delicious, being baked all throughout the night so that customers can always enjoy fresh baked goods. I will be coming back here again in the near future and will be sharing the muffins with my coworkers! They're going to love them! read more

This Donut Factory was amazing! You walk in, and it looks just like a diner. We got 6 donuts. Key lime, fruity pebbles, blueberry cake, snickers, along with 2 filled donuts. The guy working the counter was amazing and had a very northern accent! The place itself is old, and a bit of hole in the wall, but I assure you that the donuts are more than worth it! The key lime donut is sour (in the way you want for Key Lime Donuts) and has a great amount of filling. The Boston Cream was also great, and had an exponential amount of filling, which is usually an issue. The fruity pebbles donut wasn't filled, but had an amazing pink frosting I would eat by the spoon if I could. Overall, great experience and I will definitely be back!! read more

These are not fancy donut shops ...there are tables and a counter. The staff are always friendly and patient while I make my choices. Prices are good and parking is usually ok. This is the best donut store that we visit whenever we come to town. Sometimes we make 2 visits in a trip. The donuts are always fresh. The muffins here are Huge. I haven't had one yet, but I'm sure it's as moist and delicious as the donuts are. Have not encountered too.much of a wait when we are in line. Gives us a chance to decide what we want out of all the deliciousness in front of us. Favorites always include a glazed sour cream, something filled, something Chocolate, and something with apple if my daughter is with us. Which basically includes all donuts I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. I like that they have different flavors to call their own such as Key lime, Dandee donut, snickers, German chocolate, peanut butter and jelly, and a few more. They also serve breakfast here, but we haven't had a chance to sit down and eat. Give this place a try and if you are disappointed you are too hard to please read more

We've been meeting friends here for several years one night a week. Lately there has been an unkempt guy who talks loudly on his phone sitting outside. I noticed DD has now given him the job of cleaning up and throwing out the trash. He draws others to the place who also appear to be "off-the-streets". The other customers are pleasant enough; the doughnuts are outstanding BUT this guy ruins the night for us. On the one hand it is kind of them to pay this guy whatever it is they pay him but I wish they'd have their hired help keep the place clean. read more

Donuts, 24/7?? I'm so glad to have the excuse to go to pompano twice this month, because both times we went to Dandee for the delicious donuts. Now they have a mochi donut offering! Pistachio, ube, churro, and banana mochi donuts were our picks. I have never had a better mochi donut than the churro option. Dipped in cinnamon sugar with a little crunch. What more is there to say? If you haven't been, take a 2am drive to pick up some donuts and maybe even a breakfast sandwich. There's plenty of other spots to make it into a Pompano food tour. read more

I can't believe this is the first time I've ever walked into Dandee Donut. It won't be the last. When you walk in you get the feeling of an old school Southern diner and a donut shop all in one. It also gave me the feeling of Cheers because there were so many regulars there that knew each other and the employees. That's always a good thing to start with. I came in for coffee and a donut but wound up getting tuna salad on a pumpernickel bagel with home fries. I asked the waitress to scoop out half so it holds the tuna better. She got a kick out of it and did so. It was served with less tomato and onion. The tuna was white albacore with mayonnaise. I didn't taste any seasoning in it. The home fries are perfectly done crispy on the outside and pillow puff soft on the inside. The coffee was perfect, I drink I black. I took the donut to go and had it later in the day for an afternoon delight. It was moist and flavorful. The service was very friendly and attentive. I would match the variety of donuts against anyone's. They look like a work of art. Looking forward to my next stop back in a few weeks. read more

Finally getting around to posting this. It's my second review 5 years later because of what I found INSIDE of my sugar twist donut on Xmas eve. As I bit into my fav donut and chewed, something metal like scraped my back gums and it was this thing. (See images and vid) Needless to say it ruined our Xmas eve tradition because we threw out the donuts and I might add a dozen are not cheap! Very disappointing and thank goodness I didn't ingest whatever that was. Horrible. read more

Dandee has become a tradition after we enjoy a concert at the ampitheter. I am not a big donut person since usually they tend to leave a nasty oily greasy taste on the roof of my mouth! Not Dandee! OMG so many delicious varieties with no gross coating. So fresh and flavorful and fun. Also thanks to the young guy and gal working the counter who were very patient efficient and kind to a bunch of drinks slowly deciding what delicious donuts to choose!! So many temptations.
