Unbelievable!!!! Enough food for three people! Will return if ever in that area again.

Four of us tried a Ladies Sunday Brunch at this location because we heard about the live music. It is first come first serve so no reservations accepted . We arrived in time to choose from an indoor booth or outdoor sidewalk table. It was a hot morning, even at 10:30 am but the indoor area was so loud due to the music and crowded restaurant. It is very popular. The music was great but we couldn't talk or order from the counter without screaming so we ate outdoors mostly sweat. The menu had great choices. You could find it online Or on the chalkboard and you order at the counter, they bring your food to the table. We ordered a variety , BLT, Roasted Turkey sandwich, breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a regular breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage and home fries. Everyone loved their meals and it came out timely. Parking was free and prices were very fair. I will definitely return but not for a Sunday brunch! Way too loud for us old girls!!! read more

What a lovely neighborhood breakfast spot. I called in for a to-go order. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The dish was a solid 10. The gravy was creamy yet had that bite of smokiness from the meat. The home fries were a large size and not your typical normal freezer bag of potatoes. I ordered the cinnamon rolls to-go and that was decadent. I will dine in person one day. The atmosphere inside has a lot of character and not the modern bullshit you see on Sundays for brunch for a photo opt. I prefer food over anything. Things are getting tight financially so when I do eat I want to it to be worth it. Nonetheless, this place was worth my money and at a good price point. Will be back! read more

The food was pretty good for a brunch . I enjoyed my breakfast bowl ( especially the marinated maple syrup sweet potatoes) subbed out one item for no up charge sliced avocado . Spouse liked the brisket sandwich on gf bread, but still got a little upset tummy as it had jalapeño peppers in the sauce so spicy meal for him . While walking along the beach, someone overheard us debating where to go for breakfast and recommended this cute spot-so glad they did! Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name-she mentioned she was from Mexico) was super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast was delicious and served in generous portions --definitely come hungry! We also enjoyed a nice glass of bubbly to go with our meal, which was the perfect touch. I decided to try the restaurant called "The Sticky Bun" for brunch this morning. The restaurant is located just west of the Intracoastal waterway, in a shopping area called "The Cove" . The Cove is located just off of East Hillsborough Boulevard in Deerfield Beach, adjacent to SE 15th Avenue. Although the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, there is no traditional table service with a server taking your order. The menu is located on a blackboard on the wall as you walk in the door, and you pay an order taker who are adjacent to the blackboard. I ordered the Breakfast Combo (which included eggs, meat, potatoes or grits and toast). I also ordered coffee and their version of a Cinnamon Bum. One of the floor help brought me my coffee and my Cinnamon Bun. The coffee was hot and served in a coffee cup. The Cinnamon Bun (which I asked to be heated) arrived lukewarm and didn't taste fresh. The Combo arrived a little later and the eggs were fine. The bacon was crisp, the potatoes were deep fried and the toast had a little melted butter on it. I consider this restaurant touristy and the food and service just okay. The one other thing that should be noted is that the whole area has paid meter parking (maximum two hours (unless you are parking in a handicapped spot). Just 1 concern, I ordered my blt and champagne, I paid Nick cash with a $100 dollar bill, as he was getting my change i put a tip in the bucket, then he asked me if I want my 41 cents back, I said no that's fine ( ASSUMING HE WOULD PUT THE CHANGE IN THE TIP BUCKET) instead he left it in his drawer?? Later I asked him why did he put my change back in the drawer and not the tip bucket, he said bc we needed the change. Ok, I suggested that next time he might want to convey that to the customer, Other than that, the place is very unique and delicious. read more

It was our first time here and it's a very cute cafe inside the food was very good. The service was nice and they have live music. And he was great, he was just a little bit loud, my husband and I were yelling at each other across the table. LOL, he should just tone it down a notch, but all in all, it was great. Beyond amazing food here ! Tried their smoked brisket (all made in house) sandwich with a pepper barbecue sauce. The cinnamon buns were great - beautiful frosting. The bread pudding is something else- layers of tasty flavor -not dry- not overly sweet. Cool atmosphere inside (cool decor ) and easy parking. The ambiance was way too loud for our group. The live music is nice, in theory. However, our party of 4 (two adults/two children) were in a long line, for quite some time, once we got in the door, just waiting for get to a hostess, or otherwise be directed as to where we could sit. Eventually, we just gave up, & we left. I could tell, we would not be able to stand sitting there with such loud music playing throughout the course of our meal since we were already getting headaches from listening to it for the length of time it was taking us to even get to the person who would seat us. Apart from that, the ambiance was pleasing. The place was uniquely decorated. Of course, I can't comment on the food since, as it turned out, we could not partake. Judging by the brunch crowd that was there, and willing to wait, I would venture to guess it is likely delicious. Small hard working interior that says "we welcome all who are polite" and that Says all that you need to know about the owners. BLT!!! If you know how to make a good one you have fans. This is exceptional! I can't go and not share or get a Cpl items. The biscuits and gravy are almost as good as Mama Lou's SOS! But that may just be family respect. Not a single thing I've gotten there has been bad. And I mean it. They are becoming a staple in the community and only have about 15/20 items and knock them out of the park. The sticky bun was so good. It is definitely a must-try. It had nuts and raisins on top. It was one of the best I have had. It was worth naming the place after. A nice casual spot. This is a dog lover's establishment. It has pictures of dogs all over the place and creative artwork. I liked the place. I enjoyed looking at the coconut blowfish floating around and reading the little signs posted. The bathroom was a joy to visit lol. I ordered the Pulled Pork Arepa. The menu is written on a big chalkboard on the right side as you walk in. You order on the counter and get a number. There are plenty of wait staff ready to take any plates or glassware away. They are always moving. They have a high turn around. I've been here twice and this time I had The Heather" sandwich. Egg whites, bacon, avocado, tomato and greens with a side of fruit. Because the place is called Sticky Bun, I got one. It is good, but I have had better. Max's Cuban Sandwich and a side of potato salad are definitely classics. Since there are many restaurants to choose from one needs to stay on par with the rest and this place has no problem. They are always busy up until the last hour. This place is so cool. I'm surprised I've never been before. When you walk in, the menu is written on a chalkboard on the wall and your order at the front. Then you're able to sit down and wait with a number until they promptly bring out your order. I decided on the classic cuban. Bread nice and flaky, and the pickles give the sandwich a nice bite. The flavors were all well combined and left me craving for more. My wife wanted to have the sticky bun and was happy, but she said she has had better. Came here on a Saturday for brunch. Plenty of parking in the Cove and there were inside and outside seating options available when we arrived. My husband and I both ordered the spinach and bacon quiche and had to split a sticky bun. The quiche was ok overall. I was a bit disappointed with the very small amount of bacon. I had one bite of bacon throughout the entire quiche. I did need to also add hot sauce to add a bit of flavor to it. It was a special for the day so maybe it's just not what they are known for? We also got the sticky bun which was very good. It had just enough cinnamon flavor to it and sweetness. If you just want a few little bites, it works to share. I wouldn't necessarily make this my first choice of brunch spots, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again given the opportunity. read more

Glad for my waistline I only got one, but could have taken another to go. What we ordered: -breakfast burrito--tasty with cheese, eggs and bacon, served with a side of potatoes perfectly deep fried but not over-fried. Really on point. Even better with Cholula! My only complaint was I'd like more potatoes -Challah French toast--big pieces which weren't soggy but well prepared.
