What a lovely neighborhood breakfast spot. I called in for a to-go order. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The dish was a solid 10. The gravy was creamy yet had that bite of smokiness from the meat. The home fries were a large size and not your typical normal freezer bag of potatoes. I ordered the cinnamon rolls to-go and that was decadent. I will dine in person one day. The atmosphere inside has a lot of character and not the modern bullshit you see on Sundays for brunch for a photo opt. I prefer food over anything. Things are getting tight financially so when I do eat I want to it to be worth it. Nonetheless, this place was worth my money and at a good price point. Will be back!

The food was pretty good for a brunch . I enjoyed my breakfast bowl ( especially the marinated maple syrup sweet potatoes) subbed out one item for no up charge sliced avocado . Spouse liked the brisket sandwich on gf bread, but still got a little upset tummy as it had jalapeño peppers in the sauce so spicy meal for him . Good service at the counter and bringing to our table outside . The ambiance is casual and enjoyed the fresh breezy air outside .

While walking along the beach, someone overheard us debating where to go for breakfast and recommended this cute spot-so glad they did! Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name-she mentioned she was from Mexico) was super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast was delicious and served in generous portions --definitely come hungry! We also enjoyed a nice glass of bubbly to go with our meal, which was the perfect touch. Such a great place to stop for breakfast before heading right back to the beach!

I decided to try the restaurant called "The Sticky Bun" for brunch this morning. The restaurant is located just west of the Intracoastal waterway, in a shopping area called "The Cove" . The Cove is located just off of East Hillsborough Boulevard in Deerfield Beach, adjacent to SE 15th Avenue. Although the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, there is no traditional table service with a server taking your order. The menu is located on a blackboard on the wall as you walk in the door, and you pay an order taker who are adjacent to the blackboard. I ordered the Breakfast Combo (which included eggs, meat, potatoes or grits and toast). I also ordered coffee and their version of a Cinnamon Bum. One of the floor help brought me my coffee and my Cinnamon Bun. The coffee was hot and served in a coffee cup. The Cinnamon Bun (which I asked to be heated) arrived lukewarm and didn't taste fresh. The Combo arrived a little later and the eggs were fine. The bacon was crisp, the potatoes were deep fried and the toast had a little melted butter on it. I consider this restaurant touristy and the food and service just okay. The one other thing that should be noted is that the whole area has paid meter parking (maximum two hours (unless you are parking in a handicapped spot). The restaurant has air conditioning, but with the doors opening and closing, the inside was warm.

It was our first time here and it's a very cute cafe inside the food was very good. The service was nice and they have live music. And he was great, he was just a little bit loud, my husband and I were yelling at each other across the table. LOL, he should just tone it down a notch, but all in all, it was great. We'll be back.!

Had breakfast here while in Deerfield beach. It's a cute place- the staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is very eclectic and fun to look at. Breakfast was good- we had a few items and really them- I'd eat here again if I was in the area.

Smoked brisket sandwich with a homemade pepper sauce! Delicious!

Beyond amazing food here ! Tried their smoked brisket (all made in house) sandwich with a pepper barbecue sauce. The cinnamon buns were great - beautiful frosting. The bread pudding is something else- layers of tasty flavor -not dry- not overly sweet. Cool atmosphere inside (cool decor ) and easy parking. The owners are so nice and take great pride in the food they prepare! Nice selection of canned cocktails, beer , and wine.

Best sticky buns I've ever had. The caramel latte was also perfect! They are super dog friendly and so we were able to bring our Dalmatian. Everyone is so nice

*Smoked Brisket Sandwich: delicious. I don't usually like coleslaw, but on this sandwich with the jalapeños- it was a treat. The Texas toast handles the moisture of the toppings very well. *Chicken & Waffles: the waffle batter was fantastic & tasted homemade. The chicken patty I did not like because the batter reminded me of oven baked not fried & crispy. *Side of Bacon: the bacon is definitely a little sweet/candied. *Caramel Latte: perfect. Perfect balance of sweetness & coffee taste. *for a party of 3- I paid $58. Very affordable place to grab a delicious brunch. Will definitely be back. The entire plaza is filled with local eateries & is near the beach. Great location. *Amazing live music & a great beach side cafe vibe. I was celebrating the beginning of my birthday here & the band sang happy birthday to me! My mother, grandmother, & I stayed after 2 pm talking/catching up & the staff said we could stay as long as we'd like.

We sat outside and ordered appetizers. Everything tasted great. I loved the egg rolls. The table service was fast. Our server was good. She told us about the specials. She kept checking on us. She gave good service to us. The parking was public. The area has public parking all around. There was also two garages nearby.

Flanigan's Seafood Bar & Grill -- Loaded Nachos -- Deerfield Beach, FL -- "The Drunk & Don't Care…read moreNacho" I only review nachos. Not the Rock'n Rib Rolls, not the fried dolphin, not forty years of history. One plate, one standard. And I need you to understand I wanted this to be good. I've been walking into Flanigan's since it was Big Daddy's and my dad bought me a Sprite like it was champagne. Loyalty like that buys you the benefit of the doubt. It does not buy you a pass. Here's the definition, because Flanigan's forgot it: nachos are tortilla chips with melted cheese. Everything else is a topping. No melted cheese, no nachos. Write it on the wall back there. The plate arrives and your first reaction is OMG. It's a mountain. $12.99, five minutes, hot off the pass, and it looks like the steal of the century. Then you start eating and you realize the mountain is mostly air, lettuce, and broken promises. It presents as an OMG and eats as a Family -- a magic trick where the rabbit is disappointment. Eating these is like dying of thirst in the desert and then getting ambushed by a monsoon. Up top you're clawing through dry, stale chips that have no business on a $12.99 plate. Down below it's a waterlogged swamp that would make the Everglades blush. Most kitchens manage to fail in one direction. Flanigan's, in a stunning act of over-achievement, failed in both. Same plate. Same time. The cardinal sin is the cheese. Their own menu promises melted cheese. What shows up is coarsely shredded cheddar, thrown on sparing and rushed through the oven so fast it never got the memo to melt. Coarse cheddar needs heat, time, and volume -- they brought none of the three. Half the chips are completely naked. That's not a nacho, that's a chip with a garnish. The chili is the one bright spot. Beef and bean chili with decent flavor but it's buried at the bottom of the dig site, and by the time you excavate down to it, the chips holding it up have already drowned and the mess is cold. Then the lettuce, which earns its own mugshot. Menu says shredded. What arrives are thick slabs hacked off an iceberg head, bitter heart chunks included, leaking water straight onto the chips like a sabotage operation. Exhibit A was one such chunk sitting in a puddle of chili grease and sour cream. No, I didn't eat it. There was nobody there to double dog dare me. The pico was mostly tomato with a rumor of pico -- no onion, no cilantro, no lime, no point. By the end you're not eating nachos. You're eating a cooled casserole that stopped construction halfway because it never pulled a permit. I couldn't finish the chips, not because I was full, but because somewhere between the stale summit and the soggy graveyard, continuing felt like a punishment I hadn't earned. 4/10 -- The Drunk & Don't Care Nacho. Flanigan's, your kitchen has talent, I've got decades of Rib Rolls and fried dolphin to prove it. But the nachos are what happens when that kitchen clocks out early and Gordon Ramsay's worst nightmare covers the shift. Fix them or drop them. The people deserve better. -- Florida Nacho Man
