Walking into Just Baked in Boca Raton was a really interesting experience. I love the ambiance and the decor inside. It really is a super cool store front. We walked in probably at 11:00PM and the only people working were teenagers and they did NOT seem like they should've been working behind the counter. I didn't like my cookie so much. The prices are good, but for one cookie, I could've easily gone to Crumble, Insomnia Cookies, or even Midnight cookies in Hollywood for a better option. I forgot to take a picture of my cookie, but it was nothing worth raving about. I am giving Just Baked 3-stars because they are average. Located in Downtown Boca, this late night cookie shop is great for someone who just wants to satisfy their sweet tooth. I went around 10pm and ordered a white chocolate cookie for my mom and I ordered the cookie monster. I had them warm them up since we were staying at the Hyatt nearby. The service was good, and they were pretty busy fulfilling orders. It took about 5 minutes for me to get my order. My cookie monster cookie was really good. It was filled with chocolate which was warm and gooey. The white chocolate drizzle was perfect on top. My mom said her cookie was fresh and not overly sweet. I got a ice cream sandwich - chocolate ice cream with Oreos, a brownie on bottom and chocolate chip cookie on top. It's everything you would want. The brownie was gigantic; crispy on the outside and fudgy on the inside. Literally a perfect brownie. The cookie was good - moist and good flavor. The ice cream was good - not the best but definitely not the worst. All together - literally top tier. I came because I was in the mood for an ice cream sandwich and I was blown away!! I tried a few cookies and the base tasted the same with sugar being the only discernible flavor and it was overkill. The cookies - at least in the center were somewhat distinguishable because of the different ingredients, so basically I had to ditch the exterior of the cookies for the core and who wants to do that? We ordered frosting on each and chocolate sprinkles on the brownie and rainbow sprinkles on the funfetti Brookie. All were good although they tasted a bit like a mix, especially the brownie. I want to update my review because I have found a cookie combo that I have recently been obsessed with. Since I'm pregnant I do have some sweet cravings and out of desperation I ordered again from just baked, despite my last review of it being okay. I love a good cookie sandwich, and a good icing is important. Keep in mind that you can fill your cookie sandwich with ice cream or whatever but my go to has always been icing. If you pair the strawberry cookies with the icing, I promise you you will not be disappointed. The strawberry cookies almost always come warm, and the icing in between melts into them perfectly. The sandwich literally falls apart from the combo of the warmth and the sweet icing and it's just amazing. That being said, if you come here and you aren't sure what to get, order the cookie sandwich with two strawberry cookies and icing. The brownie reminded me of home, it had the perfection and consistency you would expect if you made a boxed brownie but is just far more elevated. I don't like peanut butter typically but the Reese's cookie was soft and not too peanut buttery. The slutty Oreo cookie rocked my world, excellent balance between the white chocolate and the Oreo center.
