FINALLY caught the 32 Bubbles food truck at a rally in Sunrise. Although I was excited to try their dessert, they had a very limited menu (literally 2 choices lol). I went with their chocolate ice cream in a regular bubble waffle, and it was topped with 2 strawberry Pocky stix, red white and blue M&Ms, Oreo cookies, and chocolate drizzle. It also could have come with whipped cream, but I passed. The only prepared item by the truck was the bubble waffle, and mine was great! The outside was crispy but the middle was soft and fluffy. I liked that it was easy to tear away the bubbles so I could get some waffle, some ice cream, and some topping all in one bite. I paid $8.50 for my cone, and the serving is HUGE. You get a good portion for your money, and you can share between 2-3 friends. I really would have liked to have sampled a bigger menu and tried a flavored waffle. I especially would have liked fresh fruit, but they just weren't offering it. It's a unique dessert and great to post on your 'Gram, so hopefully next time! Very sweet people. Great business idea, I love the concept of a waffle cone with their own homemade ice cream. There is some area for improvement, but they definitely deserve the recognition they get. I wish the cone were a bit crispier. It's definitely aesthetically flawless, bringing more and more of the younger demographic in for photo ops on Instagram. Unfortunately it's a bit soft and soggy. A crispy cone would change the game. Their ice cream and combinations are superb. The ice cream itself is delicious without being overpoweringly sweet. I just wish they had more flavor options with the sandwiches, as mine were just generic strawberry, chocolate, and coffee. Again, they're new, so their product is very impressive to me! After visiting the 32 bubbles truck over the last couple of months, I thought I would provide an honest review - so here I go! I first heard about 32 bubbles from my daughter (who is also a foodie) a few months ago. She mentioned that they have a food truck that offers waffles and ice cream, so she had me at waffles. The truck moves everyday and to find their daily location, you have to visit their Facebook and/or Instagram page to find them. I live in Parkland, so one day they posted that they were in West Boca from 1-4pm (this is a common spot for them) and off we went. In the "early days" of their business, they didn't tell you exactly where they were located, but I knew that they were near Burt Aaronson Park, so we took 441 towards Boca and made a left on Glades Rd., hoping to find the truck near the park. After traveling for about 2 miles, passing the park and then West Boca Commu ity HS, with no truck in site, we were discouraged, until...off in the distance @ 1/2 mile past the school, there it was, with several cars parked in front - victory, we found them! We walked up to the truck and mentioned that it was our first time and the owner, Andrew welcomed us and showed us the menu explained what they had to offer - amazing homeade waffles (plain, chocolate or red velvet and yes, the waffles have 32 bubbles) that are shaped into a cone and they put ice cream and an amazing combination of 3-4 sugary or fruit toppings (check out my pic from yesterday and other Yelp pics for examples). The menu Andrew showed me has suggested combos w/ different sauces, candies and donuts or you can customize your own! Hint: get the whipped cream! My daughter has tried the berry/berry? flavored one with whipped cream, sauce and a few toppings and we tried their newest flavor today, cappuccino blast with espresso sauce, that was amazing! The waffles are made to order in front of you and are warm, soft and chewy! In fact, I usually get a couple of plain ones (no ice cream) to take home and eat that night or the next morning, they are a great treat that can be reheated in the microwave. Note: they give them to you in a cone and plastic cup, which are difficult to transport, so Andrew if your listening, please come up with a better to-go container for the plain waffles, maybe something flat? Their ice cream is homeade and tastes really good, but caution to all you ice cream snobs that gave average ratings - if you come here expecting an ice cream parlor, you might be disappointed, because they only offer a few flavors, that being said, I thonk you're missing the point. They are a vendor that offers a twist to conventional dessert, so if you like fresh waffles and ice cream, this is your place. If you are like me and don't like all the add-ons, go with a plain waffle or add-in whatever ice cream you like (san toppings) and I think you'll be hooked. For me, this is a welcome addition to the food scene in South Florida and I highly recommend that you try them, especially if you have kids! In addition to their waffles and ice cream, they have Vietnamese coffee and Thai Iced coffee that are both really good! Btw, I mentioned that they change locations daily. I have visited them in Boca Raton off Yomato (back of a parking lot of Athletic Club) and in their Mizner location. Andrew mentioned today that they will be a vendor at the upcoming Parkland Farmers Market in Oct/Nov, so it will be nice to see them in my backyard. I have nothing else to say but , "wow". The egg waffles were great of course but the service was beyond expectations. 32 bubbles was in Mizner this Memorial Day Weekend and I decided to track them down (since they are a good truck) and drag my boyfriend with me to try these for the first time. I don't know his name but the cashier was high in energy, patient, caring, and alert. He even gave out water bottles to some customers waiting in line! He would make sure everyone's happy and that the waiting process wasn't too dreadful under the angry Floridian sun's wrath. Five stars for customer service! There's three types of flavors you can get for the waffles which are vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. I kept it simple with vanilla. I really do wish the waffles were warmer though! I got the Ube flavored ice cream which was great with that wild berry drizzle sauce (which is the talk of the truck). I would definitely check this place out for something different and fun! I'm not sure if they were rushing since we waited about 20 minutes in line to get in our order and another 20-30 minute wait for them to make everyone's order, but the "bubble" waffle was undercooked. I could still taste a bit of the batter inside. The presentation was good, but the taste wasn't great. Ice cream was alright - nothing to write home about. Here's some unrelated but interesting tidbits that I found funny while I was there - the owner of this food truck is black, if you guys didn't know. I don't have anything against that at all, but I just thought it was pretty interesting that he was the owner of a Hong Kong dessert food truck. I love their truck, have been there on multiple occasions. Recently they opened a little store to sell the sandwiches, gotta say I was really excited for it and it was such a let down. First of all, it's like hidden in an office complex; very hard to find. Then when we did find it. It was a guy at a desk with a freezer; now I'm aware that the truck is their main focus and I prefer it. This food truck serves great ice cream with great bubble waffles and great toppings. The bubble waffles are so fun and the combination with the ice cream is so delicious. They have options on their menu for flavors or you can build your own with whatever toppings you want. I tried 32 bubbles at one of their first events and it was already so good. They have different flavor bubble waffles which is a great change from just eating normal flavored waffles. Ice cream was great and they have a wide variety of toppings that you can choose from.
