Beswick's is a small, dainty, pink café that looks like it's straight out of a movie. The aesthetic is perfect for pictures and there were even some girls taking photos there! I ordered the bourbon vanilla iced latte. It was mind blowing. The coffee was bold, but smooth. The flavoring was sweet, but not too sweet! It was exactly the fresh, flavorful, bold thing I needed to start my morning. I was intending to get something from their breakfast menu, but I was quickly swayed by the bakery case. I opted for the chocolate chip banana bread and I knew I definitely make the right choice after the first bite! It was dense, moist, and the chocolate chips were so large and chunky. I came here with a friend and it was such a peaceful experience. This café might be small, but it is mighty. It has clearly made a positive impact on the community because the entire time I was here, people were coming in and out to satisfy their coffee needs give it a shot if you're looking for a new café!

I had a coconut matcha latte (one of the specials), with the British brunch sandwich. My hubby (over)ordered and got the farmhouse brunch bowl and the prosciutto, mozz and basil toastie. The food is a good portion, so we ended up taking the brunch bowl home for later. Both sandwiches were well put together on quality bread, and I especially loved the salted boiled egg! There is some indoor and outdoor seating and a small parking lot in the back that can be a tight squeeze. Love the greenery surrounding the outdoor patio which improves the ambiance and makes you forget that you are sitting right by the road. Would come back again!

The Delray spot is larger with an organized process into the familiar mess of ordering at a deli -- each table has a pager placemat which makes order delivery smooth. I went with my longtime regular Western omelette sandwich. Everything here is solid -- iced coffee, lunch (Reuben's, pastrami), salads, breakfast (smoked salmon platters, egg sandwiches). Bagels With is a local legend for the delicatessen aficionado.

The bagels here are fresh enough that they don't need a toaster to begin with, which is exactly why I asked for it untoasted. Even with the unnecessary trip through the toaster, it was still a really good sandwich. The tuna salad is creamy, well seasoned, and they even let me sample it before ordering, which is always appreciated. Confidence in your food says a lot. The pickle on the side had that perfect crisp snap every good deli pickle should have. The only thing that missed the mark was the macaroni salad. The flavor is there, but the pasta was overcooked and a little mushy. If they tighten that up, it's an easy win. The restaurant itself is surprisingly large, clean, and comfortable, and everyone I dealt with was genuinely friendly. Overall, this is the kind of neighborhood bagel shop you hope to find. Good food, good people, and just enough personality to make you want to come back.

I started thinking... if the Chinese food at Flybird is anywhere near as impressive as everything else they do, this could be a revelation... especially considering the dearth of really good Chinese food in South Florida. So I waited for Sunday with anticipation. Yes... they had Egg Rolls! And I also noticed they recently added Egg Drop Soup to the regular menu. Perfect... now I could assemble a complete meal. In addition to the Egg Rolls, I ordered the Egg Drop Soup, BBQ Chinese Ribs, and Chicken Fried Rice. Wow! Winner Winner Chinese Dinner!! Everything was excellent. The Egg Drop Soup is rich and heartier than the versions you typically see... absolutely delicious. The Egg Roll is hand-rolled and feels like a gourmet interpretation... exactly what you'd expect if a serious chef decided to elevate a classic, served with housemade Duck Sauce and Chinese Mustard. The BBQ Ribs were also fantastic... fall-off-the-bone tender, meaty, and loaded with flavor. And then there's the Chicken Fried Rice... unlike any version you've probably had before. It's packed with generous chunks of chicken and real vegetables throughout. Broccoli in fried rice? When have you ever seen that? A huge portion too... loved it. Everything here always seems to be done with thought and care. We're lucky to have a serious chef like Michael bringing his culinary talent and creativity to Delray Beach. He keeps finding ways to surprise people... and that's a big part of what makes Flybird so much fun. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
