The Delray spot is larger with an organized process into the familiar mess of ordering at a deli -- each table has a pager placemat which makes order delivery smooth. Before anyone starts a fight in the comments, yes... they toasted my fresh sesame bagel after I specifically asked them not to. Honestly? No big deal. The bagels here are fresh enough that they don't need a toaster to begin with, which is exactly why I asked for it untoasted. Even with the unnecessary trip through the toaster, it was still a really good sandwich. The tuna salad is creamy, well seasoned, and they even let me sample it before ordering, which is always appreciated. Confidence in your food says a lot. The pickle on the side had that perfect crisp snap every good deli pickle should have. The only thing that missed the mark was the macaroni salad. The flavor is there, but the pasta was overcooked and a little mushy. If they tighten that up, it's an easy win. Dropped by here for a quick lunch as we were in the area and we were not disappointed. This is your standard deli where you walk in and order at the counter you are seated and they bring your meal to the table. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was bright and clean. The wife settled for a simple raisin bagel with butter and I ordered the turkey club sandwich, which was AMAZING! (the wifey did share 1/4 of it!) All in all, it was a great experience as they have a huge menu and most of the stuff is made in house! The bagels are great, the coffee is good & the proportions are very generous for the pricing. The 2 eggs meal seems more like 4 eggs. Lots of lunch options as well. Plenty of seating inside with a few tables outside. The service is super quick, this place is always fully staffed so even if it's packed when you walk in, which is usually is, don't get discouraged. No matter what time you go, it feels busy and a little hard to fully relax and enjoy the space, even with the renovations. The place also is echoey and i always feel overwhelmed after. Bagels with Deli got a glow up! They have expanded their interior space, making much more room for tables, and added bright colors to create a charming interior. With more room for tables, there is less of a smushing of folks against the counter to order. I almost didn't notice it at first, until I realized there was a LOT more room to 'wait' for my order than last time. A trick of the eye? No, they knocked down a wall and took over the space next door (to the East). Service in the to go line was efficient and fast - no time to linger!- and the placement of their muffins by the cash register once again encouraged me to add one on to my bagel order. Note to self: the asiago bagel is a tad too strong for me. Grab an egg bagel instead! read more

I'm giving Bagels with Deli on the corner of Linton Blvd and Dixie Highway a 5/5 because they do food and service amazingly well as proven by the long lines on the weekends and overall local popularity. Whenever I'm there, I get the chicken soup, which is just about the best make-you-feel-better-when-under-the-weather food you can get anywhere. It has a cafeteria like floor plan where you queue up to order at the counter and there are never enough tables at the height of their business during brunch hours, but not to worry because they do take out very well. I had a recent experience at BWD that has made me a life-long fan of this location. I wanted to get chicken soup for my 92 year old Mom because she was not feeling well but I arrived about 20 minutes after they closed on a Thursday (about 4:20 pm). Even so, the manager let me in to order a few quarts of the soup and orange juice and went out of his way to help me. This is the kind of customer service that goes above and beyond and really strikes the loyalty chord in people. I think Bagels with Deli appreciates its local customers and following. read more

Picked up a large order from my office today. And as always the bagels are great, and egg sandwiches are delicious. However they really messed up the order and shorted me a bunch of food, which left some of my guys disappointed. Bagels With Deli was crazy busy on a Sunday late morning. They have a great system to take orders and deliver your food but it was nosy and hectic. The line kept getting longer and longer. We enjoyed a Lox Platter on an Everything Flagel plus a Bialy. My main complaint was the Bialy was huge and missing the taste of a NY Bialy. Paul and I went for a 1 pm lunch and Bagels with deli was right in our radar. It was as busy as ever. We stood in line which went pretty quick and one of the counter workers took our order. Everything looked fresh, colorful and appetizing. I then went to pay and they gave me an electronic disk to put on the table so that the server was able to find where to bring our food. We found the only open table outside under a screened booth. Within only 4 minutes, our orders came out and delivered straight to us. That was amazingly quick and it was correct and delicious. I've gotten food delivered from here before, but I decided to venture in on a Sunday morning figuring that would be faster than a third party delivery service. Wrong!! As the antagonist in the movie "The Girl Next Door" says, make sure the juice is worth the squeeze. Spoiler alert, it's not! First of all, 25-30 minutes waiting for 2 sandwiches and a sliced bagel is beyond. If you're so busy that your restaurant is full of people waiting for orders, maybe pause the doordash and uber eats to help the people who are actually in your restaurant. When my order was finally ready, I almost didn't get my food anyway because of the "system" they use. Handwritten orders are taken with one copy for the customer and two for the restaurant. When I paid for my food, I asked if I needed some sort of receipt to claim the food when it was ready. I was told I didn't, so I went to get my coffee. After milling around for nearly a half hour, I finally walked back up to the counter to see what was going on. I felt kinda bad as they were so busy, but everyone else was kind of crowding the counter at this point, so whatever. After another couple of minutes, the employee who rang me up grabbed a bag and yelled out the name "Andrea". Several people came forward so the employee tried reading out the order. Fortunately, I was paying attention and recognized that it was my food, only my name is Andrew. When I asked the employee if it was my order, she asked for my name and said it wasn't. After some back and forth, and me raising my voice, she acknowledged it was mine and gave me the food I ordered and paid for 30 minutes earlier. If your business relies on calling out customer names when food is ready, then may I make a few suggestions: 1) Get everyone penmanship lessons so that simple mistakes like this don't happen. 2) Give the customer a receipt after payment so they can prove it's their food when the employee can't figure it out. 3) Most importantly, take care of the customers in the restaurant and let the customers who ordered via 3rd party wait. The customers who actually show up at your restaurant are the ones more likely to show up and order again, assuming they don't have to wait 30 minutes for a couple of sandwiches. read more

Wow! They remodeled. Half booths with chairs. They enlarged by taking over the existing property next door. It's large, nice and bright. The wait staff is always walking around to clean the tables. The restaurant was very obviously clean. There was someone monitoring the self serve fountain area. In addition, I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese on a Kaiser roll. It arrived as a fried egg. They explained to me that the egg served was how hey make scrambled, however, in the future, I should order scrambled soft to have the eggs cooked to my liking. They remade it perfectly. I've heard so many good things about this place. I wish I could have enjoyed it more. It's a very pretty clean place, the staff is friendly but moving fast. It's a very busy place as expected. They have a ton of items and it's hard to see everything due to the line being out the door. They have a paper menu once you get in, thankfully, since you can't see the boards. We ordered breakfast and lunch so that we could get an idea of what was better. We got French toast, which unfortunately tasted as if it was bread toasted with powdered sugar on it. I was looking forward to it. Our favorite deli meat is rare roast beef, which is what the sandwich is called. The beef is also shown in the window nice and rare. Well we got the end piece. That I feel is not ok. Call it rare, show all the meat rare and serve us medium well/well. It was tough and chewy. I ordered a Asiago bagel with smear and I received the wrong bagel to the table. I asked the gentleman who brought it about it and he said he would switch it. It had been over 10 minutes and he never came back, when another worker walked by I asked her about it and she said she would check. I did get my bagel after approx 15 mins. One positive is that they have yummy muffins. I got mine for 0.99 because a piece fell off when they were taking it apart. I would go back and only get deli foods, not breakfast items. read more

Recommended by a friend and the food did not disappoint! Was confusing to order; there were no signs to let you know what to do. I wanted a bowl and discovered when I got to the cashier that I had to fill out a form on the counter, about 5 people in line back from where I was; she graciously got the order form for me and I quickly checked the boxes for a salad with ahi tuna and avocado. She then returned the order pad for me with a smile on her face. Very pleasant and accommodating. I appreciate it! Was pleasantly surprised to find lots of tuna and a half of an avocado on top of my salad! It was fresh and delicious and I enjoyed it very much, sitting outside at a table. Big fan of this place. Been coming here for many years. They've been in business for well over 20 years. Everything they make is really good. Great quality. Even their salads are awesome. I personally like to get the Atlantic Ave. big portion!!! Good atmosphere inside / outside as well. They recently bought the store next to them and expanded the place. It's huge now!! Always busy. The owner is really nice. I prefer this location over the other one that they recently opened. My favorite thing to get is the Atlantic ave omelette. I get it with cheddar cheese and bacon + home fries + a toasted everything bagel. It's also good not toasted. Sometimes I'll switch it up and get an untasted pumpernickel bagel. I would stay away from the baked goods just because some of the muffins look old and after tasting the blueberry muffin I can confirm this is true. I would stick with the freshly made stuff because it really is delicious. The service is busy and direct, although we waited probably 45 minutes for bagels.
