This was our first visit since the new owners took over a few years ago, and I was looking forward to giving them another chance. Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. I'll start with the positives; the bagels were fresh and the scallion cream cheese was worth the $1.99 upcharge. My friend enjoyed his coffee, and he liked that they left a carafe on the table so he didn't have to wait for refills. The rest of the meal was a complete letdown, as both of our egg orders were wrong, and neither the eggs nor the home fries had any flavor. And the food was also very greasy and just not very good. It was a disaster. I understand mistakes happen, but this wasn't just one issue, it was both of our breakfasts. When we politely sent our breakfasts back, our server became irritated and argumentative, instead of apologizing or trying to make things right. Then, when we questioned a $4.99 charge for the scallion cream cheese upcharge, she became just mean and arrogant. The actual charge was $1.99, and the manager corrected her error. I always try to be fair in my reviews because everyone can have an off day, but a an arrogant and nasty attitude is completely unacceptable behavior. Definitely not coming back anytime soon, as I will continue to support my favorite bagel spots where I can get both good food and service without any attitude. read more

I'll try to find something nice to say, the iced tea is good. That's it. I order a Nova Platter at $10.95, an ok price if you get SOMETHING for your money. The bagels are VERY small, the 2 tomato slices look like they were on somebody else's plate 3 days ago and same for the 1 slice of cucumber, but the worst part is the incredibly SMALL amount of nova, it's a joke. Two VERY thin, VERY small pieces of nova, not even enough for one bagel. So thin you can see the plate through the nova, barely 2-finger wide and about 4-5 inches long. Any other place would call it a "mini nova platter" and would charge you about $7-7.50 for it. I came here a few times a good while back, something has changed and not for the better. I should have suspected something when I only saw 6 people when I walked in! VERY overpriced & under-portioned. read more

Bagel Twins - Not even worth a 'menu' pic, just pic of address so you know where NOT to go. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

For the last few weeks, my mother has been in and out of Delray Medical Center... Previously, I've sat there days barely eating... Today I decided to walk to bagel twins while they took her for a procedure... I paid $11 for a bagel with cream cheese and a muffin and they tried to charge me $3.50 for a regular size can of Diet Coke. Honestly, it feels like they're taking advantage of the area and being local to a lot of doctors offices/the hospital. $6 for the smallest bagel I've ever purchased is truly ridiculous. Tomorrow I'll stop at Brooklyn water bagel or something before heading to the hospital. Ambiance? They have signs all over the place demanding you wear a mask, can't sit here or there, and other things. I'm shocked people choose to patronize this place. read more

Ordered Ate Got check... 8.99 plus 3.49 for coffee. Went to cashier and objected . Waitress said I was after 11:00.i said you said you would honor the breakfast special. She said I was after 11:00. Good service and ambience-- waiters and waitresses and booths --but just okay bagels. Had the breakfast special ($8.99) but when you go to pay there's a sign that the price listed on the menu is the CASH price and they add 4% for a credit card. ( I don't recall seeing that printed in the menu and if it was there, it wasn't prominently displayed. ) I was running an errand in the neighborhood so wanted to try this place, which used to be quite good. I'd rather pay a little more and get a really good breakfast at Bagels with Deli. read more

My wife had appointment near Linton and Military which meant I had a couple of free hours. I'm always on the lookout for a breakfast joint. This was a winner. It was clean, fast service, and cheap. Coffee was great and they give you a refill craff so I don't wait for my second cup. Pancakes reminded me of the flapjacks we had in the Carolina's. Bacon was nicely done as well. Eggs did not disappoint. My wife would have enjoyed this breakfast as well. read more

Simple and functional! Food, decoration and even the staff. That said, the staff were friendly, but busy. i have been twice now and been content both times. I went back the next day happily. Best of all, its great value for money, that must be why so many seniors frequent the place ;) read more

I came with a group of 12 men. The waiter asked everyone if they wanted coffee. We all said yes. Then , we got menus. I was surprised to see that there were two breakfast special options: one for $8.99 2 eggs, choice of potatoes, choice of bread and coffee. The $12.99 special included3 bacon strips or 2 sausage links and NO coffee. There's a $3.49 charge for coffee. When I questioned the waiter he said that's the way is. I told him other places we go for breakfast don't charge for coffee on the breakfast specials or they don't charge because there's a large group. He said we've got to make a profit and coffee costs more because of the tariff. read more

I want to give this place a five star. The food here is spot on, but their service is horrible . If you just want food with people with negative attitudes then you should sit down and eat here otherwise I just recommend takeout only. The interior is nothing special. It looks like all bagel joints and is adequate but it fits my needs. Unfortunately, the service is no good. read more

Truly unsure why this place doesn't have a better review. I live down the street and have been to Bagel Twins countless of times. The bagels are awesome and the food always comes out piping hot in less than 15 minutes . The prices have gone up over the years but that's expected everywhere. Good is great. read more

OMG The food is OK but over priced ! Especially considering that the average age of customers is 90! Service is excellent food came out quick but I'll do IHOP going forward! So EHHHH! Not a fan won't be back read more

I went here a few years ago and now I wouldn't go back. I went with a group. While that was not an issue, the food was. I ordered basically lettuce with grilled shrimp - that was over $20. They also charged me a 4% fee for using my credit card. Ridiculous. I didn't think the food was good and the coffee also was terrible. Don't waste your time. read more

The gentleman that answered my phone call was helpful and polite. I ordered by phone and went in to pick up my scooped and toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. When I realized that I was not happy with my choice, the two gentleman at the counter were happy to make me another toasted scooped bagel with chive cream cheese. It was so yummy! The everything bagel had great texture and crunch while the scallion cream cheese gave it just the right flavor. I was glad I stopped in and chose not to believe some of the other reviews. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable with an impressive display of smoked fish and freshly prepared bagels smears, salads and more. I will be back for sure. read more

For the past four, years my wife and I have been ordering breakfast out from Bagel Twins and have been very impressed with the quality of food and its preparation. We ordered eggs, bacon, potatoes, and bagels on June 16, and everything was great as it always had been. We ordered the same breakfast yesterday, July 3, and things were drastically different. The eggs tasted as if they were either powered or liquid eggs, like the kind some hotel chains use in their free breakfast offering. We know this because we are frequent travelers and have vast experience eating non-cracked eggs at hotel breakfasts. In addition, the home fried potatoes were burnt on one side and the bagels were very over done. The potatoes and bagels being overcooked might be considered a one-off situation, but we cannot overlook spending what we did on fake eggs. We are done with Bagel Twins. read more

Our favorite bagel place, Been going there for 24 years. When we entered, we saw signs stating they are now opened for dinner, so I inquired and found out the restaurant was sold. Nothing has changed as the prices due to inflation. Rosie, our server has been there forever, knows what we want to order. They make their own bagels and even wholesale to most of the country clubs in the area. Great breakfast specials, and very good Deli sandwiches. read more

Good food that is fairly priced. The wait staff is polite and professional. The downside is it's very busy especially on Sunday mornings.

Check your receipt carefully. They try to sneak extra fees on to your bill. They also put a 4% "Service Fee" on my card, but did not advise of this as they are required to do. If you fight with them, they will take it off, but who wants to go through that? read more

First time here today. I ordered nova on a salt bagel, not toasted b/c I wanted the bagel soft. The bagel I got was tough as leather. You could break your teeth (or dentures) biting into it. Shame on them charging over $20 for a sandwich and giving you an old bagel. Not a good business strategy to keep customers coming back. read more

Terrible service. Went in to get a plain buttered bagel today. I saw the menu on the wall said 1 bagel $1.35. I asked for it buttered. The kid BARELY buttered it and I should have asked for a little more so there was some on it. He told me $3.29. I was like "What"?? Yes. The charge $1.64 for the tiniest amount of butter. The other guy behind the counter was confrontational. I should have walked out as I was shocked at the price now. He said "it's in the menu". It was my FIRST and LAST time as this place. Terrible. I'm an Ex-Emergency Medicine Physician who recently "Migrated" down to Palm Beach County with my wife - this past Summer of 2020. The manager is incredibly kind and has made an effort to get to know me personally. All the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Bagel Twins has evolved into my "Morning Ritual" - I like to stop in - as I make my way into work and pick up "My Usual" - Bagels are truly exceptional and pack a "Resemblance" to what I have been accustomed to eating back home in Queens, NY. Trust me - I'm a Doctor! Andrea and I have been in for Brunch - Excellent Food - Extremely Fresh / Great Sized Portions and Packed with Exceptional Service. They serve the "Jewish Geriatric Population of Delray" with "Pride & Love." - Bagel Twins was the location for our 2022 Thanksgiving Dinner - My "Manhatten" Sister-in-Law "Nicey" was impressed!
