Waited 30 mins for two bagels, once our food came out I see they had Asiago bagels which is what I originally wanted but was told they were out. Asked them to remake my bagel and by the time they gave me the new one the other bagel was cold and rock hard. Not to mention the rock hard m&m cookie I got- dry, thick, and had a total of 6 m&ms on the whole cookie which is quite large. I typically go to palm beach bagel 5 mins away and let me tell you they are quick, good equality food, and consistent. I will not be returning to Boca bagel bar. Wouldn't recommend. read more

The bagels were great, one of the best in Boca. Had the basic breakfast with eggs and bacon, the bacon was perfect, not too crispy. Had the cold brew and it was made with flavored beans that didn't require cream or sugar. Had to get a in-house black & white which was great, soft cake with the right amount of frosting. The staff was very friendly and patient, great service . Cute little place with indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The only negative was the dogs. During breakfast three people came in with dogs, one in her purse, one in a baby carrier and finally one on a leash. While eating, the large laberdoodle put its head on the table , sniffing my food while the owner was ordering. Sorry, dogs shouldn't be in restaurants period, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. read more

Wow - stay FAR AWAY from this place! I came there for a big order and this is the second time I was there and this time was just a horror show! I'm so upset. I didn't even take pictures of this because I was catering a breakfast and spent about $150 on bagels that were surprisingly spongy and somewhere actually hard they might have not been proofed properly. When I got the dozen bagels and white fish and salmon and lox - the guy in the back who was making the sandwich for me, asked the guys in the front for a better Bagel and I didn't understand what that was... They did look smaller and flatter, and they were so dense and some looked like it was older Bagels maybe re-baked or they were baked or whatever it was. It was just so bad. with so many choices in the area, I was so upset that I decided to go to this place because I was in a rush and once I saw them not being too fresh looking, I should've moved on. The whitefish salad tasted really like vinegar - the baked salmon was not a hit as it was dry and sawdust like. I will say spending almost $16 for a quarter pound of lox where the lox was as thin as sashimi (normally that's a good thing) - but it was so thin. It almost turned to paste when trying to take it apart. This time was an epic fail and I didn't have time to go back since I spoke to someone there and he said why don't you come back when the owner is here? Maybe he'll do something for you. apparently they don't bake their own bagels there or they get them frozen and they bake them but again with so many choices right in the immediate area. When I called, the owner told me he would not refund the order and told me not to call back. He told me he didn't care if I posted a negative review. I usually don't bother, but he was so disrespectful and rude that I felt others should know. They were so easy to deal with and completely professional. We ordered the Deluxe Continental Breakfast and had it delivered. The platters were beautiful! They even included paper plates & plastic flatware and best of all, were a few minutes early! it was supposed to include coffee, but I asked if we could get apple juice instead and even offered to pay extra. They not only were happy to accommodate me, they didn't even charge anything extra. Everyone loved the bagels, the spreads, the croissants, and the muffins. There are a couple of Boca Bagels. This one is far far inferior to the one on Mizner. They not only got most of our take away food wrong - there were no sides , no napkins, no utensils- its the little things that matter sometimes. Frankly better off driving a little further and go to Flakowitz deli. It's just so frustrating when food is thrown together without care for take out and wrong at the same time. I am only writing this because this is the third time, over the past year, the orders have been wrong. Plus their coffee is slightly watered down. We were heading north and decided to stop here for a quick bite -- late breakfast/early lunch. It was easy access into the small restaurant in a strip of stores on the west side of US 1. We found a spot easily out front. There are a couple outside tables, but it was so hot we opted to sit at one of the several tables inside. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to you. We both decided to just order a lightly toasted bagel with "lox spread" cream cheese. They don't carry rye bagels, my favorite of the moment, so I chose a multi grain one. My husband opted for their everything bagel. We really liked their bagels. So much so that we bought a couple extras to take home with us. The bagels we ate there were toasted and maybe because they were still warm, the cream cheese was a bit runny on them. The owner told us how he doesn't purchase "ends" or frozen leftovers to make his lox spread. That's great, but there wasn't much of any lox mixed in at all with the cream cheese -- so it was hard to tell the difference. Service was friendly at the counter. And since the bagels were good, we'd probably come back again to try something else here in the future like one of their many sandwiches or breakfast options -- or at least to get more bagels. ;) read more

I called the restaurant to complaint and was told to call the delivery company and ask for a credit. However I am currently sitting in the almost empty restaurant at 12:59 waiting on two paninis I ordered at 12:31. Two paninis should not be taking any more than maybe 20 minutes at the very maximum. I am usually pretty understanding over this sort of thing but after waiting almost 30 minutes after paying $35 for them is pretty upsetting. I am very upset, but I am sure the food will taste great. If you are a breakfast person, Boca Bagel bar is a place with great bagel sandwiches. My bagel was a little pricey for the size of bagel sandwich I received. With that being said, my everything bagel had a delicious taste and the bagel was toasted very well. Ordering from here was very simple, staff was respectful/nice and they explained to me all the options since it was my first time there. I got the HOBO sandwich which was really good it included egg, hash brown, and bacon. I would recommend if you plan on going.
