We came for lunch on a very busy Sunday. I'd been craving bagels and lox and this place came up in Yelp as new to the area. I've never eaten at their other location so had no expectations. Nor did I realize that it is kosher. You wait in line and order from one of two cashiers. You can also order online for pickup. The menu is on the wall behind the cashiers. Although they were busy, the lines moved fairly fast considering. After you order and pay, they call your name at the other counter for pickup. You might want to have someone in your party secure a table while you are ordering and picking up if you'd like to dine in. The place is small and large families seem to fill the venue. I ordered a whole wheat bagel lightly toasted for me (they don't make my favorite rye bagels) with lox cream cheese and added on tomato. For him, I ordered an everything bagel lightly toasted with lox and scallion cream cheese... and also added on tomato ... along with a black coffee. Coffee is self serve btw. Water is from a tap. In not too long a time, they called my name for the order. We each liked our bagels. There was a very generous amount of cream cheese on each. And in each, there was a decent amount of lox mixed in. We felt the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. We both said we'd definitely return to have the same order or maybe to try some other types of bagels and salads.

Lunch time and this place is busy! I ordered the Lox cream cheese with scallions on an Everything bagel. Also ordered a self serve coffee. The bagels are fantastic and the cream cheese filling is fresh and generous. Coffee is good and there is a refrigerator with milk for your coffee. Inside is kept clean and tables turned fast.

Welcome to Boca, Bagel Boss -- We've Been Waiting! After more than a year of curious drive-bys and peeking past brown paper-covered windows, Bagel Boss has finally opened its doors on Powerline Road--taking over the old Einstein Bros. location. There's plenty of parking in the main lot, but I have a feeling this place is going to be busy, so you might want to be ready to park in the lot next door during breakfast and lunch hours. Inside, it's bright, modern, and absolutely spotless. The space feels completely new, with no trace of the previous bagel shop. The displays of fresh salads and flavored cream cheeses are stunning--so visually tempting, you'll want to try one of everything. As for the bagels? Huge and perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how a good New York-style bagel should be. I tried the everything cream cheese and it was outstanding. A truly delicious and welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Bagel and Lox. Where's the cream cheese?

Disappointed. You order a bagel with salmon and the works, spend $22 there and open up your food to find this stacked bagel has no cream cheese. Wtf. In what world does a Lox and Bagel not come with cream cheese. I was hoping they put a lot on as it was my first time here but not only wasn't it enough, there wasn't ANY. There is a breakfast in the garbage and a very expensive cup of coffee for $22. This "boss" should be fired.

First time visiting, ordered takeout when I got home my sesame bagel lightly toasted was an everything bagel well toasted. I very very very much dislike everything bagels, so my lunch was eggs with what I assume is cheese which I could barely find. Plus because it was well toasted all the cream cheese I had added had melted and it looked like very little. The phone number on the receipt takes you to a mailbox that's full. There are multiple phone numbers on the web. The website on the receipt throws an error on my iPhone. And the accidentally misspelled my name on receipt. Not a great first impression.

Today I tried the Bagel Boss in Boca. The restaurant is immaculately clean. There is a wide variety of bagel flavors to choose from including French Toast. Additionally, there is a vast array of cream cheese choices including blueberry. They also have delicious flagels (basically big flat bagels) in 3 different varieties. Just note that when you order on a flagel there is a $1.50 upcharge. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is also kosher.

(If I could give 10 stars, I would!) This is a follow-up to my previous review, and it absolutely deserves its own spotlight. One of my go-to tests for whether a bagel place is truly worth revisiting is how well the bagel toasts at home. Let me tell you--these bagels pass with flying colors. Tossed one in the toaster, and it crisped up beautifully. The texture, the flavor, everything hit just right. Yes, the bagels are on the pricey side--but honestly, they're massive. Two people could easily split one and be satisfied, so when you look at it that way, it's not bad at all. Quality and portion size make it worth every penny. This just might become my go-to bagel spot moving forward. The service was solid, especially considering they had only been open for a day or two when I first visited. And while the dine-in experience was still getting its footing, the ambiance at home (with a perfectly toasted bagel in hand) is unbeatable. A strong start for a new local favorite. Highly recommend!

Stood on side for 10 minutes waiting for order. Only to find out she forgot to make it. Girl with the 2 ponytails never apologized or offered a cup of coffee for her mistake. $16 for a crappy tiny sandwich with no lettuce and tomato is a complete NO for me. Wish I could take back my tip

egg and onion

The bagel sandwiches are EXCELLENT. Fresh, tasty and high-quality. Clean and friendly

I went on 1/15/25. I ordered 2 bagels for 21.95!! one had bacon and avocado and the bacon wasn't even real bacon and the avocados were brown. the other bagel i got was with cream cheese and there was a hair in the cream cheese. do not recommend.

The bagels are ok but the lox spread had a really off, chewy consistency to it and it turned me off from ever going again

Staff was nice. - The decor is a "casual surfer beach house" theme, and they also have lots of signage near the small bar in support of the Buffalo Bills (all opposing teams be warned, I can only imagine the place during regular NFL season!) - The menu had quite a bit to choose from, including a bottomless booze option for $20 (nice!) - The staff is on the younger side so I was expecting far less than the kind service we received... definitely a bonus! - The food was good... we had the Burger and the Shrimp Quesadilla - Price was pretty reasonable for the portions & quality CONS: - My order got messed up a touch... not the end of the world but caused me to purchase something I didn't want - No Gluten-Free breads available (although they do have corn tortillas!) All in all a solid 4 stars, really only because there was nothing about the brunch that made me consider going above that rating. It really was all... good!

This dog and baby-friendly spot is one of Boca's top coffee shops for a reason. You walk inside and are greeted by delicious pastries. Though the inside isn't huge, there are a few high tops and a long table with bar stools lining the front window. Outside, you'll find a turf-covered yard with a couple of tables and chairs. On weekends it gets busy, so I recommend getting here early if you're planning on dining in. The drinks we ordered: - Seasonal gingerbread iced latte, which was probably one of the best gingerbread lattes I've had. The drink was topped with cinnamon cold foam and a piece of gingerbread-flavored cake. - Lutinni iced latte with chocolate and hazelnut perfect for chocolate lovers! It comes with a Ferrero Rocher. The food: - avocado toast - kept it simple this time around but this toast never disappoints. It's fresh and the bread is crispy - and the guacamole is topped with a fancy flower garnish. - VI also has pastries, other breakfast sandwiches and plenty of lunch wraps and sandwiches.

The ratio of filling to croissant was perfect, I had filling with every bite. It was perfectly sweet and decently flakey. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff behind the counter, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. The ambiance is exactly what you'd hope for in a French cafe: bright, lively, and effortlessly charming. The space has that perfect balance of cozy and bustling, with the aroma of fresh-baked pastries filling the air and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. I asked for a recommendation since everything (from the croissants and tarts to the éclairs and quiches) looked meticulously crafted and almost too pretty to eat. You can immediately tell there's a strong attention to detail in every item they make. I ultimately went with the almond croissant, and I can confidently say it's one of the best I've had. The exterior was perfectly flaky with just the right dusting of powdered sugar, giving it a delicate sweetness without being overwhelming. Inside, it was soft, airy, and beautifully layered. What really set it apart, though, was the almond filling. Unlike most almond croissants, where the filling is sparse or concentrated in one spot, this one delivered from the very first bite. The filling was rich, flavorful, and generously distributed throughout, making every bite consistently satisfying. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back and work your way through the entire pastry case. Looking forward to trying more on my next visit.

She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.
