We came for lunch on a very busy Sunday. I'd been craving bagels and lox and this place came up in Yelp as new to the area. I've never eaten at their other location so had no expectations. Nor did I realize that it is kosher. You wait in line and order from one of two cashiers. You can also order online for pickup. The menu is on the wall behind the cashiers. Although they were busy, the lines moved fairly fast considering. After you order and pay, they call your name at the other counter for pickup. You might want to have someone in your party secure a table while you are ordering and picking up if you'd like to dine in. The place is small and large families seem to fill the venue. I ordered a whole wheat bagel lightly toasted for me (they don't make my favorite rye bagels) with lox cream cheese and added on tomato. For him, I ordered an everything bagel lightly toasted with lox and scallion cream cheese... and also added on tomato ... along with a black coffee. Coffee is self serve btw. Water is from a tap. In not too long a time, they called my name for the order. We each liked our bagels. There was a very generous amount of cream cheese on each. And in each, there was a decent amount of lox mixed in. We felt the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. We both said we'd definitely return to have the same order or maybe to try some other types of bagels and salads.

Lunch time and this place is busy! I ordered the Lox cream cheese with scallions on an Everything bagel. Also ordered a self serve coffee. The bagels are fantastic and the cream cheese filling is fresh and generous. Coffee is good and there is a refrigerator with milk for your coffee. Inside is kept clean and tables turned fast.

Welcome to Boca, Bagel Boss -- We've Been Waiting! After more than a year of curious drive-bys and peeking past brown paper-covered windows, Bagel Boss has finally opened its doors on Powerline Road--taking over the old Einstein Bros. location. There's plenty of parking in the main lot, but I have a feeling this place is going to be busy, so you might want to be ready to park in the lot next door during breakfast and lunch hours. Inside, it's bright, modern, and absolutely spotless. The space feels completely new, with no trace of the previous bagel shop. The displays of fresh salads and flavored cream cheeses are stunning--so visually tempting, you'll want to try one of everything. As for the bagels? Huge and perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how a good New York-style bagel should be. I tried the everything cream cheese and it was outstanding. A truly delicious and welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Bagel and Lox. Where's the cream cheese?

Disappointed. You order a bagel with salmon and the works, spend $22 there and open up your food to find this stacked bagel has no cream cheese. Wtf. In what world does a Lox and Bagel not come with cream cheese. I was hoping they put a lot on as it was my first time here but not only wasn't it enough, there wasn't ANY. There is a breakfast in the garbage and a very expensive cup of coffee for $22. This "boss" should be fired.

First time visiting, ordered takeout when I got home my sesame bagel lightly toasted was an everything bagel well toasted. I very very very much dislike everything bagels, so my lunch was eggs with what I assume is cheese which I could barely find. Plus because it was well toasted all the cream cheese I had added had melted and it looked like very little. The phone number on the receipt takes you to a mailbox that's full. There are multiple phone numbers on the web. The website on the receipt throws an error on my iPhone. And the accidentally misspelled my name on receipt. Not a great first impression.

Today I tried the Bagel Boss in Boca. The restaurant is immaculately clean. There is a wide variety of bagel flavors to choose from including French Toast. Additionally, there is a vast array of cream cheese choices including blueberry. They also have delicious flagels (basically big flat bagels) in 3 different varieties. Just note that when you order on a flagel there is a $1.50 upcharge. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is also kosher.

(If I could give 10 stars, I would!) This is a follow-up to my previous review, and it absolutely deserves its own spotlight. One of my go-to tests for whether a bagel place is truly worth revisiting is how well the bagel toasts at home. Let me tell you--these bagels pass with flying colors. Tossed one in the toaster, and it crisped up beautifully. The texture, the flavor, everything hit just right. Yes, the bagels are on the pricey side--but honestly, they're massive. Two people could easily split one and be satisfied, so when you look at it that way, it's not bad at all. Quality and portion size make it worth every penny. This just might become my go-to bagel spot moving forward. The service was solid, especially considering they had only been open for a day or two when I first visited. And while the dine-in experience was still getting its footing, the ambiance at home (with a perfectly toasted bagel in hand) is unbeatable. A strong start for a new local favorite. Highly recommend!

Stood on side for 10 minutes waiting for order. Only to find out she forgot to make it. Girl with the 2 ponytails never apologized or offered a cup of coffee for her mistake. $16 for a crappy tiny sandwich with no lettuce and tomato is a complete NO for me. Wish I could take back my tip

The bagel sandwiches are EXCELLENT. Fresh, tasty and high-quality. Clean and friendly

I went on 1/15/25. I ordered 2 bagels for 21.95!! one had bacon and avocado and the bacon wasn't even real bacon and the avocados were brown. the other bagel i got was with cream cheese and there was a hair in the cream cheese. do not recommend.

The bagels are ok but the lox spread had a really off, chewy consistency to it and it turned me off from ever going again

From the moment you approach this bakery, you can smell cookies or something heavenly baking outside. It's pure comfort all the way inside this cozy little shop. Everything here is made on-site. There are many sweet and savory items: cake, cookies (far superior to Crumbl), keto and vegan options, empanadas (delicious, have them heated up), pastries, etc. But what I love most here---the pies! I had called the day before to order an apple pie, and they were able to make it in time for my event. I've also ordered a Key lime pie in the past which was a huge hit. It's just so nice to find a place that makes pies and does them well! They also make mini pies, so you can try their different flavor flavors and see what you like the most. The woman behind the counter was really friendly and patient, given it took me some time to choose from all their wonderful items. The chalk drawn coffee chart with picture and coffee style was a nice addition to the decor and provided an easy way to choose your tailored brew. The open view bakery with a clear glass partition is a great way for customers to get a first hand peek at a cool attraction, although nothing going on today. Nice wide seating area under the covered patio surrounded by a red brick ledge with a gorgeous black & white wall mural. A relaxing area not in the direction of the fire hot west sun. Ordered a cold Americano coffee and an espresso which was tasty. Tried to briefly chat with the barista but was still unsuccessful getting a smile, maybe she was just having a bad day. Totally different vibe a few doors down at the Third Place Coffee Lounge. The gender neutral bathroom was clean with modern ammenities. Above average 3.5 star rating.

I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I had to choose the bread that I wanted (they charge you for the bread separately). I also ordered two puff pastry palmiers and a container of coffee. Most people know the palmiers by the name "Elephant Ears ". The sandwich was loaded with eggs, bacon and cheese. I was surprised at how good it was. I was only able to eat one of the Palmiers because I was filled by the sandwich and coffee. The food was delicious and the coffee was very good. BTW, the roll the server chose for the sandwich was soft and delicious. If you happen to be in the East Boca area near Spanish River Boulevard, I would definitely recommend you stop here for breakfast or dessert.
