Update since my prior review from five years ago. I'm here all the time because they sell Martinelli's apple juice, which is my favorite! Convenience is key, and my office is just feet away. So, of course, I am here a few days a week. The girls working the front counter are super nice, and I like all of them. They are all friendly too, which is great. The bagels are popular in my office as well as the breakfast sandwiches. I heard they are very good. Today, I brought in muffins for my coworkers, and everyone liked them. They still have the coffee ice cubes, which is great, so your iced coffee won't get diluted. I'm off caffeine, even decaf, so for now, I am staying away. They do have good coffee, though. Located next to the Living Green Cafe.

I am a fan of this chain. I have one in Hollywood and I have always liked the bagels. I was happy to have found this location. The shop is in a strip mall with plenty of parking around. It has a big outdoor covered area. The inside is a good size and the place is nice and clean. I found the service good and the bagels good. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number. The coffees are self-serve. They do have a good variety of flavor coffees and creamers. someone brings your order when is ready to your table. I got the Williamsburg. It is what I usually get. Maybe it's me but the bagels at this location seem smaller. The sandwich did taste good. What I like about the chain is that it has a big window. sometimes you can watch them make bagels. It is pretty cool to watch.

When I was on vacation in Boca, I came to Brooklyn Water Bagel every single day--it quickly became my favorite spot! Their iced coffee is absolutely amazing, and I especially loved the coffee ice cubes. Such a clever touch that made a big difference. The bagels are incredible--perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. My go-to was the everything bagel with cream cheese and tomato--so simple but unbelievably delicious. The staff was always so friendly and welcoming; I was always greeted with a warm smile. I seriously miss this place now that I'm back home in Michigan. I wish we had one here!

Was walking past this place and was lured in by the thought that maybe, just maybe, the bagels would be like those in New York City because they have water bats filled with water imported from Brooklyn. Guess what? It's true, got a toasted sesame bagel with butter, tasted just like the real thing!!

It's not my all time favorite to go to but they came thru for me. I actually had gone to the place a few doors down (Living Green) and had a terrible experience there-so I walked over and got an everything bagel scooped out toasted with an egg, spinach, cheese and mushroom. I was happy to get breakfast to join my friend because LG could not make breakfast even though it was breakfast time. I took it to go to sit outside of LG with my friend. I will remember this place now because it came thru for me (I know they are famous for their coffee ice cubes but I had already purchased a coffee at LG).

Always fantastic! The food is fresh as ever. The iced coffee is always on point with the iced coffee cubes. Def a go to spot for me!

The bagels are very very good. Unfortunately the egg sangawhiches do not deliver bc they don't use fresh eggs which is a huge no no when it comes to true bagel shops.

Everyone was pleasant. Food was delicious as always! Tried the new "Leo" sandwich bagel and It's sooo good! Too big though, I had to take half home! We ate inside. Tables were clean. Love the 80's music. They brought our food quickly and even came by and picked up our trash. Bonus, they have a window so you can watch them make the bagels. Outside seating area is very nice. And lots of hot and iced coffee choices!! Very good place with great food!

Nothing else in that whole Mizner-adjacent area was open yet -- not even the diner down the block, which doesn't start serving until 7. The bagels looked pale, so I asked if they baked onsite. Answer: no, the fresh bagels usually get delivered later in the morning. That immediately told me everything I needed to know and saved me from making a bad decision. The bakery case looked decent enough -- black and white cookies, pastries, etc. -- but since nothing is actually made there, I have to assume most of it was yesterday's inventory. Ended up ordering a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a Kaiser with a large coffee. Fifteen bucks. Look, I understand East Boca commercial rents are insane, especially anywhere remotely near Mizner. But $15 for a breakfast sandwich and coffee from a place that isn't even baking its own bagels is absolute highway robbery. To be fair, the sandwich itself was solid. The Taylor ham ratio was right, eggs were fresh, and the Kaiser roll held up. But the whole operation feels less like a real bagel shop and more like an early-morning survival outpost for caffeine-deprived Boca commuters.

Totally insane. And the bagels were OK, but like nothing special whatsoever. As for the coffee it was putrid, just total bitter, burnt tasting swill. I should note that my wife did say that she enjoyed the place and would give it 3.5 to 4 stars. However, I definitely would not return here. Unfortunately, the bagel chips turned out to be cinnamon-flavored, which I really don't like and wasn't expecting at all. When I mentioned it, the waitress said that's all they had--but it would have been helpful if she had told me that so I could choose something else. To her credit, she did bring me a toasted everything bagel (scooped out) instead, but by then it had already disrupted the meal a bit. The issue wasn't just the food, but the communication--if I had known ahead of time, the experience would have felt much smoother. My husband had a pastrami with cheese sandwich and loved it, and my son enjoyed his strawberry cream cheese bagel. Portions were generous--I ended up taking home half my salad and half the bagel. Overall, I'd say it was just okay. Next time, I'd probably stick with something more predictable like an omelette and double-check any sides. This seems like the kind of place where it's best to go with the "known wins."
