Very cute place. It is very hard to find, a hidden gem. Right next to TJ Maxx. I wish the maps helped more. The menu is verrrrry old. This place is rather expensive for what you get. The place was busy and they didn't seem to have enough servers for this kind of tables. The food was good. My avocado toast was some of the best. The pinenuts on top made it! My friend got a ham and cheese sandwich. She liked it. Everything is very basic, so you have to really look for something. I would suggest to have something from the fresher baked section. I had a dessert from the cold counter and it was not that good. The Christmas tree tasted stale and we got a hazelnut cookie and it was ok but all it was was a biscuit and hazelnut. We felt like eating straight up Nutella. Idk if id go again unless Im in the area. But it's still worth trying!

The food got accolades from the group, with 2/3 of dishes rated at perfect portion size (the brioche french toast and the scrambled eggs & smoked salmon) and 1/3 (champignon truffle crepe) declared too big for 1 human to finish! We are also big fans of their sweet croissants (the almond and the almond & pear) for after. Also, the OJ is indeed fresh pressed. The service was a little slow at first (we sat ourselves and just sort of waited for about 5 minutes) and she messed up service on part of my order (I asked for a grande macchiato, and she entered it correctly, but the she brought me a double espresso... weird mistake), but pleasant enough. The cafe itself is cute enough, with umbrella covered outdoor seating in the large breezeway between buildings and about eight tables indoors, some cutesy Paris decoration, enough to carry the theme though not quite enough to create an immersive atmosphere. Price was typical Boca level, about $20-25 (pre-tax/tip) per person with a drink.

Felt like I was back in Europe, from the great outdoor seating to the indoor bakery vibe. Loved people watching, while eating an outstanding chicken salad sandwich. Also, the prices are by far some of the best in all of Boca Raton. Waiter was very attentive, service is great.

This was my first time at Lublu bakery and Cafe. It is located in the TJ Maxx plaza with plenty of free parking. They have a large outdoor sitting area or inside seating as well . We sat inside since it was early morning. We dined around 9 am on Saturday morning and it wasn't very busy. You seat yourself then a server comes over with menus , silverware , water pitcher and cups. They serve breakfast all day as well as lunch . There was a varied selection of egg dishes - sandwiches , platters, as well as crepes , avocado toast , French toast , salads , nova, and sandwiches as well. They have a large assortment of pasties and cakes in their front cases. Their drink menu consists of fresh juices, smoothies , and a variety of coffee drinks . The service was great , we were greeted quickly . Once we placed our order , food was brought out within 10-15 min. I had the egg and cheese sandwich, I don't eat ham so I was subbed for turkey . It included a salad but since it was breakfast time, I opted for fruit which was a $2 up charge . My mom and sister both had the poached egg breakfast that included a croissant , fresh fruit , and spinach with mushrooms and onions . We all enjoyed our meals . I had a lemon/ginger hot tea which I liked. The total for the three dishes , one hot tea and one cold brew was $56 . Definitely a great place to check out for breakfast/brunch or lunch.

My first visit with a party of 5 for lunch. This is a "large party" at Lublu so an 18% gratuity is automatically added. Fret not though, you're asked if you'd like to add an additional gratuity when you pay! Service was poor, not meriting 18%! Server was completely expressionless and practically non-verbal! Our food, most of which seemed to be premade, took a long time to be served. I ordered Croque Madame, which seemed premade, dry, and was cold. Other than those in my party who ordered quiche, no one enjoyed their meal. I'll give them another try, but I'm not running back!

About a month or so ago I was here for an early lunch. I never knew about this place and it's been right next to TJ Maxx forever. I had the spinach quiche that came with some mixed greens on the side. The fresh greens were topped with a balsamic drizzle. The quiche was simply incredible, and it was the best version of spinach quiche that I have ever had. I was in a French bakery so I couldn't resist ending my lunch with a sweet treat. I had a mini éclair that was amazing. The rich custard filling was delicious. Very good food made with quality ingredients. This is a great cafe to stop in for a quick meal or just a treat from their large bakery case. I highly recommend this bakery, especially if you are looking for a special dessert, either for yourself or to bring to any gathering. Not inexpensive, but worth the price for quality homemade food and baked goods. I'll be back next time I feel like quiche or a good pastry. I was sitting next to a couple that were both eating avocado toast, which they both loved. This is a comfortable cafe, nothing fancy. Very casual. I liked it a lot. Highly recommend.

avocado toast with nutty german like bread so good!
    Nina S.

Our server Matthew, the runners and table clearing people worked well together. They were prompt, explained the menu and were kind. My husband ordered the avocado toast with egg. They cooked the over medium egg perfectly The bread was to die for - lovely nutty german- like bread. So good we went to the Russian store to buy and take a loaf home. The Russian store and this store are the same owners. I ordered the salmon crepe and there was more salmon then I anticipated which was a nice surprise. I took half home. The almond croissant was the best I had in Boca. The paste is in the middle AND on top and bottom - they heated it for us. A little smaller than pre pandemic but still good. I like the small dessert bites - it's really a dessert place to me.

Having seen this place consistently busy, I figured that must be a good sign. We decided to hit it up for lunch, post-shopping. The December weather was pleasant, and the huge sliding door/window was open so all could enjoy Al fresco dining. As usual, this place was busy, but there were a few empty tables. It took quite some time for an employee to acknowledge we were waiting by the "please wait to be seated" sign. I brushed that off, but thought it odd when she took us to a table that needed cleaning versus a clean one that was right behind it. She acted surprised when I pointed to sitting at that one instead. Fortunately that was the only odd hiccup. We both ordered sandwiches. I enjoyed the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It wasn't too salty and was perfect for dunking into. There was a swirl of pesto on top of the soup. My daughter loved her prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. It came with a side of chips. The serving sizes were ample. Our server was not all that attentive and so paired with our odd start, I'm keeping my review at 4 stars. I would try La Boulangerie again though as the food was great.

Keke's is a chain of breakfast and lunch restaurants that opened in 2006 and is based out of Orlando. They have grown to locations all over Florida. I have dined at their Boca and Winter Park locations before. In July 2022, they were purchased by the Denny's Corporation, but Keke's continues to operate separately from Denny's. According to their website, "Keke's Breakfast Cafe is dedicated to providing an outstanding breakfast; a meal where everything is handmade, using the best ingredients available, with fresh fruits and vegetables delivered daily, and using the highest quality bread and dairy products." They pride themselves on service, cleanliness, and quality, and that is what keeps bringing me back. This Keke's location is really bright and colorful. I love the pastel color scheme and Florida-centric theme. The Parkland mural is an especially nice touch. They have a large dining room and a few seats on the patio out back overlooking the waterway. Sierra was my server, and she was so sweet and attentive. I started off with some much needed coffee, which is great here. Bad coffee is a pet peeve of mine. Keke's has the sort of indulgent breakfast menu I love, with stuffed French toast and fruit-topped waffles and pancakes. If you are not into sweet, dessert like breakfasts, they also have a savory lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, and wraps. The entire menu makes my mouth water, especially the decadent stuffed French toast options. I ended up choosing the cinnamon apple French toast and made it a combo with home fries and bacon. Everything was perfection, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and I ended up needing a take-home box. While I was dining, Sierra kept the coffee flowing and checked in often. If you are looking for both great food and great service, give Keke's a try. I am so glad to have a location closer to home.

The caramel pecan French toast was missing the caramel. The bread was airy which made for a strange texture when I added the watered down and tasteless syrup. The bread also didn't see like it was soaked in batter, just put in a toaster and plated. The bananas on the French toast were from a what seemed a 6 day old ripe banana. You wouldn't need teeth to eat them. The eggs were overcooked and had absolutely no seasoning. The manager said he doesn't like his chef overusing salt, but a bit of salt (and at least butter) is needed to cook eggs. The bacon was cooked well, but still seemed a bit chewy. The only good things about the meal were the grapes and oranges in the side of fruit. Don't think I'll come back to this location, but I won't rule out Keke's next time. The staff seemed friendly enough.

The experience just didn't come together. There was a bit of an attitude on arrival -- even with a reservation -- which set the wrong tone. From there, the service felt frenetic, with repeated warnings about kitchen delays, and the very loud atmosphere made for an overall uncomfortable evening. Dining is about more than just the food, and I was surprised that a place promoting its European roots didn't deliver the level of service and hospitality typically associated with that tradition. That said, the food was excellent and the pricing very fair. We had the Chicken Shawarma Hummus Bowl with pita, Chopped Salad, Kebab (the only dish I wasn't wild about), Pesto Burrata Pizza, and Landwer's Famous Schnitzel entrée -- a strong lineup overall. The hummus is nice and velvety, but the short ribs could've used more seasoning and was dry and hard around the edges. The chicken made a better pairing. Service was slow and lacking. We were seated quickly, but it took a while for a waiter to come. After being seated just past 7pm, our appetizer arrived 20+ minutes after ordering, and entrees didn't come until 8pm. Nearby empty tables went unwiped for most of our stay, and it was off-putting to watch staff only partially clean them while handling the tops of salt and pepper shakers with unclean hands. I was not surprised to see health violations listed here afterwards. The experience worsened with dessert. Our Basque cheesecake came with a thick layer of chocolate instead of the berry coulis listed on the menu. When I mentioned the discrepancy so he could inform future guests, the waiter repeatedly suggested I speak to the manager, despite me saying it wasn't necessary.
