I truly can't believe I've been in Boca for 7 months and this is the first time I ever tried anything from your storefront. A friend recommended me because she knows I eat very clean and occasionally count my macros. I placed an order online for pick up. I ordered the green goddess shake with added grass fed whey protein, the buffalo cauliflower, the peanut chicken & crispy rice bowl (came with cabbage, avocado, chopped chicken, cucumbers), the gluten free mac and cheese and the organic fudgy sweet potato muffins. I plan on making multiple meals out of these items. Every single item listed above was FRESH and FANTASTIC!!!!!! The flavor and the taste of everything was just incredible. I really enjoyed Garden Butcher when they first opened but the last few months have been subpar. The past couple times I have gotten one of the $15 smoothies, they haven't not been blended. I've literally had to chew my smoothie every sip it's gross. I shouldn't have to take my smoothie home and blend it myself. Disappointing. read more

I still haven't been to LA to try them yet, so I have to go with these to see what they taste like. I also ordered the Active Charcoal Smoothie and it was so good!! Their mission is to sell and serve healthy, organic, seed oil free prepared foods for health and overall wellness. Fresh, clean healthy options that are ready to eat that tastes delectable. They have breakfast, main dishes, smoothies, protein drinks, coffees, bowls, wraps and salads made to order off of the menu. The prepped foods like chicken parm, salads, shrimp, salmon burgers, meatballls, etc. The variety is overwhelming. The prices are a little costly but you get what you pay for. I ordered the cloud smoothie and the strawberry glo smoothie. They both tasted fresh and delicious. I really liked the brown butter chocolate chip cookies. So after I posted my original review, The owner reached out to me apologizing & explaining the reasoning for the disorganization. She also offered me a gift card for my troubles. I do believe in second chances, so I re-visited this past week for another pick up order. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised that it seems in just a few weeks, things have gotten more organized. When I arrived I quickly found my order ready (on time) on a newly added pickup shelf. This time I went with one of their special wraps: the crispy chicken bruschetta wrap that had GF breaded chicken, blistered cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, balsamic glaze, kale pesto, arugula. I liked the wrap itself, it tastes fresh and not overly processed. I like all the ingredients separately but didn't care for them all together for some reason. Although I like cherry tomatoes it was like a whole tomato in the wrap. Also the arugula was kind of wilted from the warm chicken. Overall it was enjoyable though just perhaps not my favorite. I also got the cloud smoothie this time which I really liked. It's not as sweet as the strawberry glow and is more subtly sweet. Overall, a way better experience. Came here yesterday and got the magic mocha smoothie and my mom got the cloud smoothie. Both were great but I think The Cloud was a little bit better. The magic mocha is really heavy with the date flavor so something to keep in mind. If I went back I would order the cloud for myself. Paid around $30 for 2 smoothies which is really steep in my opinion but I understand it's high quality ingredients. I would give 5 stars but the place was absolutely filthy. Food on the ground and on the tables. The little perforated holes in the table had dried food that had been there for who knows how long. I've seen elementary cafeterias in better shape. I felt bad because the girl up front was checking people out, taking pick up orders, helping out in the kitchen, and bussing tables inside and outside. I really like everything that I've had from here so far. I love what they represent and the healthy food options that they make. I have had all of their smoothies and like all of them a lot. The green one is my least favorite though. They're sweet potato chocolate muffins are really good and I've also had their breakfast burrito which was delicious. I refrained from writing a review because I do truly love the idea behind the place and we need more healthy restaurant options like this but it just gets to a point. Especially for how much I'm paying for the food, you could at least not be so forgetful. My order is always being forgotten, just done wrong, or takes 15 years to come out. It's just gotten so annoying. It's not like it's ever busy when this happens too. The staff was very sweet but cmon. Another thing that's a little frustrating is on their website only a few items have nutritional facts. I track marcos and it's quite hard to order when only. A few items have the Marcos posted and most of the time the way it's formatted is confusing. Moral of the story, I do think this place is a good healthy spot with lots of potential but you need to have patience, time, and make sure you check your order before you leave if you're ordering for pick up. We ordered a simple sandwich and were told it would take 10 minutes, but after 20 minutes of waiting, we checked in--"just 2 more minutes," they said. Five minutes later, still nothing. Asked again--"2 more minutes." After 30 minutes, we decided to cut our losses and cancel the order. Rather than processing the cancellation immediately, they made us wait another 5 minutes just to confirm it. Eventually, they assured us they would cancel it after we left, but then we were still charged the full amount. When we called the next day to resolve the issue, the woman on the phone was dismissive and blamed us for leaving before the cancellation was processed--despite the fact that we had already waited 35 minutes. She put us on hold, then offered a gift card instead of a refund, which we declined. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, she made an unnecessary comment about our "energy" and said a manager would follow up. We're still waiting. The food might look great on Instagram, but this place is poorly run, overpriced, and doesn't respect customers' time. For better food and service in Boca, I'd recommend Vinny's, Grain and Berry, Vale Food Co, or Pura Vida--all of which handle a lunchtime rush far more efficiently. The place is super cramped and the flow of the restaurant is really bad in terms of where to go and wait. A lot of people were confused walking in. I ordered the cloud smoothie, and my sister ordered the strawberry dup. They called her name, and we came up but they said they didn't. After some time passed we check up on the order and it's the wrong order. They had to make it again or something. Either way the drinks were slightly above room temperature. As far as taste, I had both drinks and they were bland as they come. The cloud drink touts having pineapple. There was barely are in the cup. $13 for a smoothie is too much. They also had a lot of prepared foods and meals which came out to about $16-20 a meal. A little steep for essentially a microwave to go meal. The portions looked measly.
