Bread and Croissant

Came here for the first time after visiting Morikami Gardens right across the road. We never knew it was so close and are glad that we found it! I had a slice of their vegetable quiche along with a cup of mochaccino. Both were so good as well as everything else served to the rest of my family. The overall ambiance is very nice whether you sit inside, as we did, or outside.

it took me seven years to finally go to this restaurant. People have been mentioning it so I couldn't wait to try it. I must say it was everything. They said it was first of all. It's very low-key everything that we had was delicious service was fine quiet French feeling to everything about the food. indoor outdoor seating, the cappuccino was delicious the quiches were outstanding the tuna salad was one of the best !!can't wait to go and try some other food items and sweets

Chicken salad on a bed of greens

Cute French cafe serving sandwiches, paninis, salads, quiche and pastry. They use fresh baguettes for their sandwiches. I had the chicken salad on a bed of fresh greens, which comes with a piece of their yummy baguette. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside on a beautiful day.

Ooofff sisss... y'all need to come here!!! I walked in and it smelled SO good. I love the atmosphere- there's French (I think it's French...???) music playing in the back ground, the decor is simple and cute, the staff is super friendly! I ordered a cream puff, croissant and a latte. This croissant had the perfect crunch on the inside and soft, chewy texture on the inside. The latte was fantastic! The milk was nice and creamy, had a thin layer of foam on top and just a mild bitterness with no acidic after tone! Now, this cream puff. This cream puff was the best cream puff I've ever had in my entire life. I LOVE cream puffs and y'all know this is now my regular spot for cream puffs and coffee... Yes, I will drive 35 minutes for this place regularly!

Love this place. The Hot Goat Cheese Salad is my favorite. The pastries are delicious. They have a passionfruit mango bar that is the best!

Laspada's Original Hoagies

5/5 -- Worth Every Mile…read more Laspada's Original Hoagies is that spot for me. Whenever I head south, it's the very first place I stop--and when I'm driving home, it's the last place I hit before getting back on the road. I even have to bring home a full order for my family, three hours away. I literally drive three hours just to eat Laspada's. That's how good they are. It was one of my favorite places when I lived in South Florida, and after all these years, they're still making the best hoagies I've ever had. Fresh, flavorful, stacked, and totally unmatched. If you know, you know. And if you don't--go. You'll understand immediately.

I was driving down Glades Road on a rainy Sunday around 10:45 am. Decided to pull over into this…read moreshopping center to see what was open until the rain let up (which it didn't). Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? Sounds like my next visit to Boca includes trying more stuff!

The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

The pizza was phenomenal: perfectly crisp edges, a fluffy interior, and loaded with flavor in every bite. We went with a group of eight, and while the experience was still great, it's probably not ideal for larger parties--we ended up having to sit outside, which worked fine, but it's something to keep in mind if you're planning a bigger gathering. The standout was the pizza special with burrata (seriously, delicious). Everything we tried was excellent, and the quality easily justifies the hype. I'd 100% go back, and I'll be thinking about that pizza for a while.

We went a bunch of times and everything was always stellar. Last week we had a less than stellar experience honestly. First of all, menu changes and found out the liquid gold wings are gone. Super disappointing. The spinach dip was cold, then nuked to the point of burning. Pizza was just ok. I get your rules, I respect your rules, but to charge me $6 for a side of mushrooms since you wouldn't put them on half, is outrageous. The waitress was nice enough but didn't seem like she wanted to be bothered with working. My kids are annoying, I get it, but you can still be nice to them. Overall, we aren't running back like we used to.

Amazing that this large place is located in a such a prime location on the corner of Atlantic and Congress... they must own the property? The time warp really kicks in when you step inside... a huge open space with formica tables and molded benches... nice enough and super clean, just odd for the area. The ordering area and signage, a blast from the past, reminding me of my canteen at summer camp as a kid. After seeing photos of the chow on Yelp, was dissapointed in my Egg and Cheese Sandwich. It tasted fine enough, but the egg/cheese was skimpy on a large roll. If I knew, would have ordered an extra egg or 2... oh well. As this sandwich is a favorite of my husband's, I knew we would have to stop here some time. We were in the area around lunch time and decided to try them. The restaurant sits on a corner in a large separate building with its own parking lot. Inside, it's much bigger than I'd expected. There is an extensive menu painted on the wall. Plus, additional small signs of newer items or specials. You order and pay at the counter, and they call your name when your food is ready. There were quite a few choices of subs and sandwiches plus salads, soups, meals, and sides. It wasn't easy to make a selection as so many things sounded good. My husband wound up getting their BLT on a sub with mayo. There was a ton of crispy bacon on the sandwich along with the lettuce and tomato. I had a bite, and it was excellent! I got their white Russian which was a white meat turkey sub with lettuce and tomato, cheese, and thousand island dressing. The soft Italian bread along with the fillings were delicious. But it was so huge a portion, that I wound up saving half for another meal. This place is definitely a keeper! Thank you to Raymond for bringing it to our attention. So many other things on their menu that I'd like to try in the future.
