Went to this location for the first time last weekend (usually visit the palm beach location). Spoke to Laurence, the baker, and Chrissy behind the counter. What sweet women!! They were so accommodating and helpful. We were a party of 3 and had lunch and got pastries. The food here is so fresh! Everything was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to this location. The ladies behind the counter are busy serving their customers. But are pleasant and smiling. They give you a number for the table to serve you appropriately. There are outside tables but I decided to sit inside. I am having a cappuccino which I am able to sweeten with my choice of sugar or substitute from the variety set on the table. They serve breakfast wraps and sandwiches as well as lunch paninis and salads. Opps don't forget the quiches soup and variety of cookies the teas are bagged. Great spot! Stopped here for a quick bite. Lunch for two and a beverage and dessert to split will run you about $35-40. I recommend the Mediterranean chicken sandwich or the turkey avocado club. After not visiting this restaurant for more than a year we really missed eating here. But since we still aren't real comfortable eating inside we decided to take brunch to go. We've eaten here in the past probably 18-20 times and long story short, I still love it. It's a small Parisian style bistro with fresh baguettes, french pastry, EXCELLENT quiche and fluffy, buttery croissants. They also have great salads, home-made soups and delicious sandwiches. My 2 favorites here are the Parisian sandwich which is simply smoked ham, butter and Emmentaler cheese on a fresh baguette and my other is their Croque Monsieur. This trip I had the Croque Monsieur and it was excellent as usual. My wife's 2 favorites here are the PB Club Sandwich- Chicken carved off the frame, Bacon, Brie, Fresh Avocado, & Roasted Tomatoes and the other is the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich which is also chicken & roasted tomatoes but with artichokes, piquillo peppers & goat cheese with an Olive Oil & Balsamic drizzle and grilled panini style. She had the mediterranean this time and also said it was as good as she remembered. And even though we carried out, no way were we forgoing dessert. Nancy had a chocolate brioche twist and raved about it (as always) and I had a traditional chocolate eclair which I love. Their pastries alone are worth going in for even if you don't have lunch! Because of Nancy's job being face to face with Covid everyday it will probably be sometime before we're comfortable eating inside. But, in the mean time, Paneterie has outside seating and offers their entire menu for carry out. But comfort preferences aside, I just highly recommend Paneterie for an excellent French breakfast, brunch & lunch. ***FYI Their carry out containers are bio-degradable. read more

Friends who are snowbirds living in Boynton suggested we meet here for coffee/lunch, and I had not heard anything about it before their recommendation. I checked out the menu on-line, it looked interesting, so I figured, hey, it's their call, let me go. Arriving at 11:15 on a Sunday, they were empty, I figured this was a busy place during the week when the center in which it is located is jammed. All the pastries on display looked awesome, but none of us tried them, so I cannot comment other than how they looked in the display case. The menus are posted on the wall, sandwiches, salads, panini. I had a Mediterrean chicken panini with piquillo peppers, goat cheese, roasted tomato left the artichokes off. It was very light on the chicken, everyone at the table looked in surprise at the really small amount on the $10 panini. Also, it lacked much taste, despite the ingredients. Den had the Portofino ($11), and it was heavy on the prosciutto and mozzarella. One of our friends had the Smoked Salmon ($12), and she said it was very good salmon, and since she is very demanding and picky, I trusted her assessment. All the breads (baguette or panini) were tasty, so that's a plus. After ordering at the counter, the food was brought to our table outside. The counter person, who doubled as the server, was attentive, returned twice to ask about coffee refills, and cleared the table. The coffee was good, so let's credit them on that! Bottom line, it was A-OK, even though I was underwhelmed with the portion size of my chicken panini, as well as its blandness. I rarely rate a restaurant after one visit, unless I think I will not return, which is the case here. It's sort of an imitation [chain] French bakery place, and since there are REAL French bakeries in East Boca, it's obvious where I would go. It is in the same center as Way Beyond Bagels, which gives you a lot more options to consider, although it is always jammed. I guess if I was a working guy in the area and wanted to pick up something light to take back to my office, this might be an option. But, not a place to go to for a Sunday late morning breakfast or early lunch. The interior is not set up for anything other than quick eating, and the tables outside face out on the parking lot. read more

Wonderful food! I don't think there is anywhere in the area that has a baguette that approached the delicious baguette at Paneterie. I had a hot and very tasty Quiche Lorraine with a salad that I will have again and again. Their sandwiches are interesting and delicious. Great espresso. Easy parking. The food is good. I ordered so I could Pick up. They do have limited eat in. There were two people eating in. There is a sign on the door masks must be worn while inside. The woman was waiting for her food and she did not wear a mask. She came to the counter to find out where her food was and she didn't wear a mask. After she got her food she wanted it hotter she cake again to the counter and did not wear a mask. The person behind the counter did not say anything.
