Wow! I wish I had found this place sooner. This is authentic Italian. From the staff that are actually Italians, the Italian tv playing in the background and of course the food! We knew this would be good when the cappuccino was smooth and delicious! It was the start of a scrumptious lunch. We got a sandwich, a salad, a nutella pastry and of course some gelato! Everything was freshly made in house, with quality ingredients, and was very tasty. The gelato was homemade and really, really delicious from the texture to the flavors. I highly recommend you check this gem out!

Environment feels as though you're in an Italian cafe. The coffee is amazing. Homemade dishes are delicious along with delectable desserts made on site. Sandwiches are yummy and the owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. A must visit

Cute spot. Services was very kind. Made to order items. Select what you would like on your sandwich. Had pizza options and baked goods. Warmed apricot croissant was so yummy

This was what I call the Anna Luisa "focaccia special". Fresh mortadella/ mozzarella/ tomatoes/ balsamic glaze and smoked provolone.

So glad my son found this place for us to try the espresso offerings. It's now become my weekly "go to" place for lunch. Salvatore makes a mean and proper cappuccino the right way with a nice clean foamy head. All their food items are all delicious and fresh thanks to Anna Luisa. It's also nice to go there and practice my Italian with the staff. Always a pleasure visiting Amore Caffé.

I ate my food too fast to take a photo, but it was delicious

The feta and spinach croissant was absolutely delicious. Staff was above and beyond courteous, polite and thorough wonderful place. I highly recommend it.

I saw an ad for Amore Caffe on Instagram and gave them a shot. They call themselves an Italian coffee shop and bakery. The porchetta sandwich was delicious and filling (I'm not sure if they have this daily). I hope the next time I stop by they give me another one as heavy as this one was. It wasn't cheap but I enjoyed it. They are located off of Federal Highway. There's plenty of parking and they have both indoor and outside seating. Cool concept plus they have wine & beer too.

I stumbled upon this place because I go to the chiropractor in the building behind it. They have beautiful salads and crepes and of course coffee. We wanted a nutella crepe with fruit but they didn't have any fruit (go figure) so when we said how much would the nutella crepe be without the fruit - they said the same price. That kind of struck me as odd. $12 for the same thing. So we scratched that and ordered a few pastries with chocolate for the family and brought them home. It's worth coming by to check out their pastries but I must tell you it is pricey. Very friendly staff as well. You can sit outdoors or indoors too.

This small restaurant on the east side of federal highway is an undiscovered gem. But not for long! It's only been open about a month and a half... We stopped by for an early lunch. But they open in the am for breakfast: coffees -- expresso, cappuccino, latte, et al -- juice, too. Plus pastries like their Italian croissants and Italian donuts. Check the case at the front for what's freshly made. For lunch, they have sandwiches, salads, and even several hot dishes. The staff was very helpful in choosing our selections. We both chose sandwiches on ciabatta. There are five different bread choices. And over a dozen varieties of sandwiches on the menu -- plus check the board behind the counter for additions. I had their "parma" which was prosciutto, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, and basil. I requested some balsamic on the side. It was a wonderful choice! And such a large sandwich that I only ate half -- saving the other half for later. My husband ordered their portofino with mango and prosciutto, arugula and balsamic glaze. The chef/owner suggested adding tomato, too, which he did. My husband said his sandwich was five star delicious! He also took half of sandwich home. For dessert, we shared a bite of tiramisu. Rich and creamy mascarpone in layers with those coffee soaked lady fingers. Yum yum. Can't wait to come back and try one of their other sandwiches... or salads. Buona mangiata!

Wow! This new Italian cafe has some great offerings! I had the Portofino Panani on House baked Ciabatta bread. Plenty of parma, cheese, mango and tomato with Balsmic glaze. The Tiramisu was a delicious happy ending, (well really not ending...the sandwich was big enough to take half of it home). The chef is very talented and friendly as well as the rest of the staff.

They have made to order panini with high quality ingredients as well as home lasagna. I had the Parma sandwich - prociutto, mozzarella, tomato, and basil pesto. They also have a nice selection of freshly made gelato and sorbet. The lemon sorbet was a perfect way to end my meal. The owner has been there a year and was very friendly.

Delicious and convenient! I love this cafe. It's located in a plaza so it could be easy to miss. They have a new owner so the menu has changed a bit. But definitely stop by if you're in the area. The owner was so nice! I ordered the parma sandwich that was recommended. The sandwich had mozzarella, tomato, prosciutto, balsamic. It was really good! We got the tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. They have many gelato options to choose from as well. The owner makes them every day. The place is very cozy and feels like a cute cafe. There is seating inside and outside. Check out this cute spot!

It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? Sounds like my next visit to Boca includes trying more stuff!

The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

On the south end of the plaza is The Seed and that's where we were headed for coffee... At the last minute I decided I was hungry but I wasn't in the mood for danish or other lite bites that The Seed offers (as good as they are). So we decided to check out Fresco (which we only discovered when we drove by in the parking lot). Turns out they have been around for quite sometime and it was obvious they are in business to service the workers/staff in the area since they are closed on weekends and only serve breakfast and lunch. They have juices and coffees and smoothies... I ordered the STRAW-NANA (strawberry and banana); loved it. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and wraps; plus platters and bagels; plenty of options. My wife got their TORANI WRAP (eggs, tomatoes and sautéed spinach but she excluded the provolone). She loved her wrap. The menu has a very impressive lunch section... wraps, salads, panini sandwiches and overstuffed sandwiches and THEY ARE NOT BASIC. The combinations and ingredients bring out the appetite for sure. I ended up trying their FIRENZE PANINI (grilled chicken breast with roasted red peppers, sautéed baby spinach, provolone and pesto aioli); this sh#t was delicious. And the Ciabatta bread was so delicious. In addition to all these menu options, they have a lot of other offerings in their glass case(s)... I tried one of their bakery offerings (dry but good). MOST IMPORTANTLY... these owner(s)/staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. AND ONE MORE ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting RIGHT NOW, Fresco Foodworks is now open on Saturdays !

FIVE STARS. GAS STATION? YES. GAS STATION? ALSO YES…read more Let's get something straight. Some of the best food on earth comes from places that look like you shouldn't trust them. Gas stations. Side streets. Tiny counters with three tables and a refrigerator humming in the corner. I saw WhatSub on Yelp and thought, "Alright. Let's see if the hype survives State Road 7." It didn't just survive. It flexed. I am fully on board with five-star gas station cuisine. In fact, I seek it out. And WhatSub doesn't just play the game -- it competes internationally. This place comes dangerously close to Sandwich Master in Turin, Italy. I'm not exaggerating. And it narrowly beats out Generoso's in Coral Springs, which is not an easy feat. The bread? Legit. The meats? Layered like someone actually respects the architecture of a sandwich. The balance? No soggy mess. No overkill. No amateur hour. And then the cannoli. Freshly piped. Not pre-filled. Not sitting there getting sad and humid. Fresh. Filled to order. Shell still crisp. Ricotta smooth and balanced -- not overly sweet, not grainy, not lazy. Best cannoli I've had in South Florida since Lorenzo's in North Miami Beach. That's not a casual comparison. That's a statement. Now let's talk atmosphere. It's technically in a gas station plaza -- and yet the owners and staff are actually speaking Italian behind the counter. Not performative. Not touristy. Just normal conversation like you accidentally stepped into a deli in Torino. It feels real. So real that I went back the next day. And then again. I am not joking. When I ask myself, "What was my favorite thing?" the answer is dangerous: Everything I ordered. Cold subs. Hot subs. Cannoli. Repeat. This is the kind of place you almost don't want to write about because once the word spreads, lines get longer and secrets disappear. But credit where credit is due. WhatSub is proof that greatness doesn't need chandeliers. Sometimes it just needs good bread, proper technique, and someone who actually cares.

Came here because I saw it was a new Italian sub shop near my area. Saw good reviews and wanted to…read moretry it myself. Behind the counter was a husband/wife duo who were the business owners (didn't get their names) who stated they were from Sicily. After much deliberation, I decided to order the Arthur Ave and the Milano. The Arthur Ave is a cold sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, sun dried tomato. You have a choice of bread from white, wheat rolls, and focaccia. I was informed by the husband the focaccia is made fresh daily by his wife so of course I had to try that. The wife was nice enough to let me try a sample of the prosciutto and I have to say -- it was delicious, so getting it on a sandwich was going to be a no-brainer. The Milano was for my father. Watching them make the sandwich, they put two huge pieces of chicken cutlet, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and freshly sliced mozzarella. Again, I got the focaccia bread. Both sandwich's were drizzled on the top of the focaccia bread with fresh Italian olive oil which was just the cherry on top. I had told the owners it was my first time and we had a great conversation, that they were nice enough to give me and my parents 3 free mini cannolis -- which was completely unexpected and highly appreciated! As far as the food goes, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this sandwich was. From the delicious meats, the fresh veggies, and my personal favorite part -- that focaccia bread. I would buy that alone. They had specials on their menu the day I went that was a not on their menu -- a meatball sub and arancini balls. Also, keep in mind, that this shop is inside the Mobil gas station on 441 and SW 18th. There is a sign on the outside of the gas station, but if you're driving by and unsure of the location, I can confirm it is inside the Mobil. Overall, a great experience; delicious food, great people behind the counter. Only caveat I would say is it is a little bit higher price for a sandwich, but with the current economy where a McDonalds burger is over 10 bucks, you truly get what you pay for and that is top quality, fresh and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
