We came here after church and it was fairly slow. Our server was very detailed and gave us all of the specials. We started out with our soups and garlic rolls which was great. I got the chicken parmagiana and I loved it! The flavoring was there and it was a good size portion. My husband got the chicken Marsala with broccoli instead of pasta and he finished both. Overall we'll have to come back and try their pizza next time! read more

I am quite picky when it comes to red sauce, but Papa Giuseppe's sauce is top notch. I ordered baked cheese raviolis, garlic knots and the minestrone soup. Each was flavorful, delightful and exactly what I wanted. The sauce is not chunky and has the best flavor and the melted cheese on the raviolis made it that much more delicious. They are also very reasonably priced! Totally worth checking out if you want good Italian food. read more

Papa Giuseppe could be a great restaurant because I have had pizza that was a 9.7. I have had good chicken parm, eggplant parm, rollatini that was excellent. But the food quality is not consistent. Most of the time very good. From amazing tender chicken parm to dried out chicken parm . It is frustrating because with a little effort and oversight they Couid be amazing all the time. Getting sub par food whether dried out or not hot is unacceptable. And having a kind of dirty looking man not greeting at lunch and acting rude is why I am gibbing this review. Papa Giuseppe, you do good but you need to be consistent. read more

What took us so long to find this little Italian gem? Despite the tacky wall of fake greenery and flowers, we found the place to be terrific: reasonably priced, great food taste, and excellent service. We stopped by for dinner on a Friday night without reservations and were seated right away. (I suspect this may not be the case during "season", when the snowbirds return.) We were in the mood for pizza. Papa Guiseppe's has one pizza size: 12" In addition to the regular pizza, they offer a Sicilian thick crust pizza. I asked if the regular pizza had a crunchy or a soft crust. The server said it could be prepared either way. Yay! We ordered the soft crust with pepperoni on 1/2 of the pizza. Was it the best pizza ever? No, but it was tasty and satisfied our craving. We also ordered a baked ziti entree to go with the pizza. It came with a choice of garlic or regular rolls. Yes, please! We had both. The garlic was not overpowering as is the case with some Italian restaurants. It also came with a choice of pasta fagioli or minestrone soup. We chose the former. It was a bit salty but still very good and full of beans and pasta. The baked ziti was delicious! It had a nice sauce and plenty of cheese. In fact, the pasta was better than the pizza, so we finished the pasta and took home some pizza. The server was attentive and checked in regularly to be sure we had everything we needed. And the prices of the entrees are quite reasonable, which was refreshing to see as restaurant prices have risen so much recently. We will definitely be back ... soon! ... to explore other menu items at Papa Guiseppe's. read more

A definite gem of Italian. Took my sister and BIL out for dinner for her 80th. Great service and very welcoming. Awesome pasta fagioli, Caesar Salad and Fried Calamari. Each like Nona used to make. Main courses were delicious; chicken marsala, pasta ala vodka and chicken parm. Too much to eat but the food travels well. Modestly priced and a really cool place that delivered on all fronts. Bravo! Loved the experience. read more

The place has good food and good service, but it has some lousy policies that prevent it from being a better restaurant. First off, if you get a meal you can only get soup with it. Salad is an upcharge, and this is different than most Italian restaurants where you can get soup or salad without getting a hit to your wallet. Also, if you order pizza in the restaurant, you can only order a small individual Pizza. Any other Italian restaurant will let you order any size you want. I suppose the goal here is to get more money out of you since everyone has to order their own individual Pizza rather than getting a big pizza for the table. In any event, it's not cool. read more

My go to pizza spot in Delray, the buffalo chicken pizza and the regular cheese pizza are amazing. I have tried the Alfredo here but wasn't a fan. I usually get the pizza ordered on uber eats, and pop it in the oven for an extra 5 minutes once it has arrived for extra crispy and hotness. read more

The food was amazing. We met our cousins and our granddaughter for dinner. My husband used to eat there several times a week when he worked down there. Two of us had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Big portions. Two had chicken parmigiana. My granddaughter took half of hers home. The other had chicken franchise. He loved it. The meals came with pasta fagioli or iItalian weddings soup. The pasta fagioli was delicious. It was made with a chicken base and not tomato. The Italian wedding soup was Slofie made with a chicken broth. It was also delicious. My granddaughter and I split a cannoli and my husband had lemoncello cake. Both were delicious. The service was fantastic. The whole place was decorated with Valentine decorations. Besides tables there is a big bar. They also have tables outside. It was worth the drive. We will be back. read more

Food is extremely average. Pizza is screened(cooked on a screen), big pass on that. Sauce looked and tasted like jarred sauce. Food took SO LONG to be ready. Quoted 30 took almost 2 hours. Probably won't be back. It was edible, but nothing special. read more

Food was tasty and service was very good. It wasn't anything to rave about though. Your typical Italian restaurant.

I cam here with a decent size group and I must say the service was very good. I ordered the chicken marsala with broccoli and a salad. (When the bill came, I was surprised they charged me an extra $2 for the broccoli; it would have been better if they had told me there would be an uncharge). Always very good. I had to bring home cannolis for my family which they devoured. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes; eggplants park, pasta fra diavlo, salmon, chicken and more. I would go back as I have only heard great things about the restaurant. And it is close to home! So we will definitely return. Very casual atmosphere. And very yummy Italian food. read more

First, I noticed the ambiance. It reminded me of places in Little Italy. Then I was greeted by a very friendly waitress, Vivian. Since I was checking out the place to possibly order for a party, Vivian answered all my questions about pricing, sizes, etc. So it was time for the taste test. I ordered a small plain cheese pizza, which looked delicious when it came. And it was--excellent quality cheese, delicious, sauce, and very nice crust. An overall very positive experience. I can't wait until Sunday when I pick up the party order! read more

I had food delivered two times via Uber Eats. Both times the food arrived hot and fresh. Pizza was good, not good as in New York good, but for Florida, it was good. Lots of gooey cheese and the sauce wasn't bad either. A bit tangy for my taste as I prefer a little sweetness in my sauce. I didn't try my friends Chicken Parmesan hero but he liked it and ate the entire hero. I did not like the meatballs at all. They were small and tasted like they were out of a bag. Frankly, they didn't even taste like homemade meatballs. I tossed them as they were inedible. I'll try the pizza again because that was pretty good. read more

Best pizza in town. If you go there, give yourself a treat and take home a dozen of them garlic rolls. They are amazing.

Don't get me wrong, the food was good. The reason for my 3 stars was they won't serve you a sandwich after 3pm. I had specifically went for a meatball sub. They will gladly serve it as a take out order, but not dine in. It's to bad the place reminds my of the Billy Joel song. Very quite and laid back. read more

Not a fan. Met up with friends who live right in the neighborhood and go here often. The waitress was indifferent to the fact that we were deep in conversation with the people we met here, and kept treating us as though she was trying to get us out of there. This is extremely annoying especially when it was a pretty large bill. For the price of 4 dinners, I would have preferred to be in a more comfortable environment being waited on my employees who appreciated and respected our business. The food was subpar and certainly not worth the asking prices. Of course our companions would disagree. But for someone used to home cooked Italian food, it was not impressive. Moreover, I had a shrimp cocktail which was a handful of shrimp on a plate with lettuce and ice cubes. This was unsettling to me, as I am extremely pregnant and immunocompromised so the idea of putting ice cubes from who know where on lettuce I would have eaten didn't seem like the most sanitary practice. I would rather have gone anywhere else. Also the outdoor seating is very limited and because they chose to seat two old people at a four top when there were open two tops, my party of four had to squeeze in the very packed interior dining room. But the bathroom was clean and I enjoyed the Italian music playing in there. I felt like I was visiting my grandparents read more

I opened up the door to get a to go menu, and I had my dog in before. I could even speak the older woman with short brown hair, who was behind the bar immediately said your dog can't come in... First off, I actually have paperwork where my dog is allowed inside restaurants... This immediately turned me off to even trying out this restaurant... It is a federal law not to discriminate against emotional support animals... Without this woman even asking me or allowing me to speak... She opened up her mouth... I just left because I refuse to go to a place like this... Before someone speaks, they should ask questions... I work in law... again, I don't even want to go to this place based on my first impression. read more

Staff: nice welcoming, gave me a drink for Togo while I waited, brought me the to go friendly helpful Bread: not good bland, needs more garlic and butter Soup: honestly kind of bland but if I had a choice again I'd pick over salad Salad: basic lettuce, tomato, black olive, vinegarette Dessert: lemoncello in love with, small size but equal to cost ish Chicken francese : no real issues little extra sauce would do well Pasta: cooker longer than aldente which is fine with me bc I don't like hard pasta I live 15 miles away found this place via Uber eats promo and glad I tried for the lemoncello, returned the next day to get more without paying uber Guys read your reviews, I'm seeing people mentioning the exact same issue with the rolls YEARS ago, adapt and fix read more

I eat here once a week. I've become such a regular, they treat me and my family like we're a member of their family. I've thrown parties here, take people here for special occasions, never had a bad meal, always treated with great service and the best part, the food... it brings me back to New York American Italian food, which is very had to find in south Florida. I'm disappointed... the beginning of this review is negative but please read on...I ordered at the bar... bartender was very nice but extremely busy. She was taking food and drink orders solo. I arrived 6:30pm so happy hour was over .. 4-6pm. I ordered calamari appetizer $9.95 and chicken piccata dinner $14.95. Prices are fair. Portions very good sized. The chicken piccata was advertised as s menu highlight. First, my wilted (and I mean wilted) salad arrived. I could not believe how bad it looked. Immediately I said to the bartender... you've got to be kidding. She replied.. she doesn't make the salad.....no really? I told her to take it back.. I'll have the soup.. Soup choices were minestrone or pasta fagioli. Well, another disappointment. The pasta fagioli looked and tasted like dishwater and the garlic rolls sucked. They were burned and soaked in a garlic flavored oil. I saw traces of garlic particles laying in the bottom of the oil which never made it to the roll. Sadly they advertise these as their famous garlic rolls. . I'm pleased to say the calamari came out breaded nicely, hot , crisp and fresh. No disappointment here. I was planning to have just a taste and ended up eating the entire plate. The rings were very tender, no tentacles , and the marinara sauce was homemade and chunky. I asked to have the picatta to go as I was stuffed from the appetizer portion size. The Bartender was very accommodating and had my order wrapped. This location is convenient, parking is around the front, side and back, a little tough while construction is happening in the plaza. Located on a main highway, the restaurant has a few outdoor tables... but no outdoor atmosphere . Indoors it's tight and noisy. The tables and chars look comfy but seem too large & bulky for such a small space. The building was recently renovated and there is always a crowd here. I have been by with people on line and out the door. Let me say that I did taste the Chicken Piccata when I arrived home and it was pretty good. Not the greatest but ok. There is enough to feed me for a week and I was also given a very crisp salad in my take out order with much nicer looking garlic rolls. I'm hoping for a better experience my next visit because I really want to make this my go to local Italian restaurant. We will see. read more
