Kind of a hole in the wall place. Happened to notice it one day while driving by, but it isn't really that easy to see. Your basic slice place, which actually is pretty great because so many places will only sell you a whole pie. Or if they do sell single slices, they're terrible. This place had pretty solid tasting pizza. Just basic good pizza. Nothing fancy. You can get their special...2 slices and a soda for $8.95. And the slices are pretty good size. It says they have Italian food also. Haven't tried that yet. But for pizza, you could do a lot worse. I will definitely be back here. read more

I clearly ordered the wrong thing and that's on me. I have zero interest in deep dish pizza... give me NY pizza, please. But that doesn't excuse the pizza being cold. OK, room temp, and that is a mystery to me because I think it was only like 35-45 minutes between ordering and delivery. It was $47 all told and I had 2 slices - SQUARE mind you - it has no sauce. I'll take the blame for that but it was supposed to have veggies and extra cheese. Very little of either. And as I said, no sauce. $47 for bread with some cheese on top. The pizza was light and crispy with an excellent sauce- they even brought my husband a plate of anchovies for his salad! The real deal here! For decades I dined at the Renzo's in Boca and was delighted when I found the same owner made a second location in Delray. Thus location is primarily a to go location. I have been in Food and Beverage for 37 years. I came to Renzos because of how good the food looked on a Facebook ad. The Pizza was superb. Tasted just like New York. I then ordered a Penne Vodka and Salmon over spinach. The Penne Vodka was a perfect al dente and the sauce was creamy and delicious. The Salmon was fresh and equally as delicious and perfectly accompanied by garlic spinach. The two girls up front was pleasant and Lorenzo was friendly and much more than inviting. First observation upon opening the pizza box was DAMN that is a lot of Aruglula, you literally couldn't see anything else. After removing a considerable amount of that, I noticed the toppings were skimpy and that the pizza had no sauce. I called Renzo's and was told that this pizza comes without sauce. NO where, even when customizing the pie did it say the pie comes without sauce and ironically there was an option to get the pizza with no sauce which I of course did not select but she said it's standard. What is a pizza without sauce?? Very, very salty and dry that's what. Also the salad was small for the price and nothing special. The girl I spoke with offered a desert or something free on my next order but I am one and done here. $40 ish bucks and it went in the trash. read more

We (four of us) LOVED the pizza. We ordered a plain chz. True NY Style. Perfect sauce. Tasty cheese. Crust was not too dough-y, not too thin. We also ordered a plain chz, cauliflower crust/gluten free pizza. Absolutely Delicious as well. The young lady that took our order was SO pleasant, answered all of our questions, and helped us pick the perfect items to order. The owner came to our table (a couple of times) to check on us and kindly shared a bit of his backgrd when asked. He also let us know that they have another (larger) location in Boca.
