Hungry, we stumbled upon this little cafe in a small strip mall. It was empty on a Sunday morning in July so our orders came out quickly. My wife enjoyed one of their smoothies and my eight-year-old daughter and I liked the sammies. Was it the best food I've ever had? No, but it was decent and mt daughter loved her breakfast sammie! Service was friendly and quicky!
Looking to satisfy an inexplicable craving for a healthy sandwich or wrap in east Delray, Yelp has pointed me here....Whole green cafe. Located 2 blocks south of the hustle and bustle of downtown, the menu features the main characters you would expect from a green cafe....wraps, bowls and smoothies. I opt for The omelet wrap which boasts, tomatoes cucumber avocado Swiss cheese and of course 2 eggs. It sounds simple, but you don't have to overcomplicate good fresh ingredients. A Sauce or aioli would have taken it to a whole new level, but this is a good wrap nonetheless. Whole green cafe gives off all kinds of San Diego vibes...a good option if you're looking for a healthy option at a reasonable price point.
Decided to drop in for lunch after my hair appointment. This place gives a Panera Bread vibe - love it! I was craving some fresh and light so I decided on a salad this one was had chicken breast, tomato, beets, peppers, onions. It came with balsamic dressing but I swapped it off for ranch. I had fresh pressed juice (green apple, carrot and celery) - it was stronger than I thought so I didn't get to finish it. While I was eating the kind lady at the register asked if I wanted to sample their triple berry smoothie... I absolutely loved it! I had to order my own to go. Overall this is a nice spot with a intimate mom and pop shop feeling. The workers were really attentive and friendly. I can't wait to drop back in after my next hair appointment.
Huge portions of delicious fresh healthful foods, just a couple of blocks off Atlantic. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for big healthy bowls and fresh pressed green juices. It's a really cute place with seating inside and outside, and a pretty extensive menu of healthy things. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They offered up some substitution ideas, and were more than happy to oblige since they make everything fresh. I went for the large 24oz green juice that was delicious, and they massive green salad topped with freshly cooked and super flavorful chicken. So. Dang. Good. I got about a third of mine to go since it was so big. The prices are also super reasonable for the quality and portion size. No complaints from me. Overall, a great experience with great food at great prices. See y'all in here soon!
I am rounding up from 3.5, but it deserves the round up. As someone with a vegan fiance, I am always happy to find places we can eat together that actually has options for her, and not just one thing on the menu, or just pasta with sauce or a bowl of veggies (I'm talkin protein people - beans, tofu, tempeh, saitan, etc). Now, thankfully, most of the "bowl" places that have popped up everywhere typically have a tofu option, or at least, a black bean option, and Whole Green was no different. We were here on our annual Dave Matthews Band in West Palm Beach weekend, but were staying in Delray. As has become our custom, we have brunch or lunch with another wonderful couple we met through our Dave Matthews excursion. He is vegan, she is vegetarian, so I am the black sheep. Everyone found something and everyone liked it. I ordered the quinoa bowl with chicken and I enjoyed it. There was nothing wrong with it at all. It was healthy and filling and tasty. However, there was also nothing that stood out about it. Nothing spectacular. Still, everyone enjoyed their meal, including me. This is a good option for a healthy meal, especially if you're vegetarian or vegan and want multiple options. Also, the owner was wonderful - very pleasant man - and service was excellent. So, with the service and the vegan options, I have no problems giving this the 4th star.
Discovered this great local find on a smaller street in Del Ray. Fresh ingredients, friendly customer service, and a very vibrant and healthy menu. Favorite part was pouring the maple and peanut sauce over the sautéed veggies and quinoa. Front of the house guy was very chill and said this was a crowd favorite. Happy to have to stopped by here for a quick lunch during my visit to Del Ray.
So delicious. We came here and the salad was amazing. I got a refresher and it's so good especially in the Florida heat. The workers are super nice and the inside of the cafe is cute as well!

Came here for lunch and had a delicious, healthy meal! Only got a picture of the quinoa chicken wrap and my mom said it was "the best wrap she's ever had". From the presentation to the flavor, everything was fresh and delicious. A great spot for a healthy, satisfying bite! I got the Greek salad and it was so light and fresh on a hot summer day (I love arugula) and another at my table got the Quinoa bowl which was a nice size portion and delicious. The owner is so sweet. Would highly recommend. Also noted- lots of good gluten free options! Can't wait to be back to try more!
Even though breakfast was complimentary at our hotel, I needed fresh food. I'm so glad yelp recommended Whole Green Cafe! Yessss, the food I'm accustomed to eating and preparing at home in Los Angeles. We were greeted promptly upon entry and orders taken without delay. The waitstaff was courteous to us and the other patrons as they entered the establishment. We ordered the quinoa bowl, green salad and a side of grilled vegetables. Serving sizes were large and it was delish! A/C could have been a bit cooler, quaint setting with a couple of tables outside for sidewalk seating as well. Food prep took about 10mins and the temperature of the food was hot. Couldn't finish everything, so it will be devoured for dinner.
Came here to grab an uncomplicated, easy, healthy, not over-priced dinner while visiting. The quinoa bowl I got was tasty and healthy. Had a mix of cooked and raw veggies which I love along with added baked salmon on top. I also got a lemonade drink that was tasty. Got one to go for my partner. I'll definitely be back here!

Amazing! Whole Green Cafe is amazing! All of the dishes were fresh and tasted delicious! The food was made fresh to order and the ingredients were so incredible. The shakes and the juices were great as well. The guacamole was made fresh and it was perfectly seasoned, my family and I could have had another bowl of it. The Brussel sprouts were seasoned just right as well. The service was fantastic; all the food came out within 10mins of ordering. And the restaurant was cozy and comfortable for small groups inside and there are a few tables outside to sit as well. I can't wait to return to Whole Green Cafe! I recommend it to anyone who lives in Delray and/or visits Delray. read more

Finally! A praiseworthy vegan-friendly cafe in Delray. Of course there are a few vegan spots in DB that are great, but this one is unique. I have been here a few times and have tried quite a few things on the menu. I love their hummus appetizer. Their soups are always warm and delicious. I highly recommend any salad with grilled chix (if not vegan) or tofu. I love their bowls too! Everything is made to order and is ALWAYS fresh. The vibe is super chill and the owner is a sweetheart. This place would be perfect for a daytime first date. read more

Had a wicked bad hangover after a night on the Ave and as I was staying at the Marriot it was either the Starbucks cafe and a $6 bagel or something better at the tiny organic restaurant across the street next to Dominoes and Senor Burrito. Good call by me this was so much better than a bagel could ever be. The Omelet Wrap with eggs and avocado, cheese and tomato and and an interesting dip sauce that I must call them to ask about. I wasn't completely functioning however I do know that the gal serving was super friendly and the guys on the grill seemed to be enjoying the morning. She was talking healthy smoothies to a counter guy in training. I liked the vibe. It took a few long minutes it seemed to cook, I paid and I trudged back across the street to my room to eat it. Certainly hit the spot. Would go back for sure! read more

Wow! What a great place to get some fresh food! Doug, a friend who is also staying at Aloft Delray Beach, recommended this cafe to me when I told him that I needed to find better food with substance. He said, thats Whole Greens Cafe! I've been going to Dominos and other restaurants in the area, and this is my first time coming to Whole Greens Cafe. I ordered the Mexi Bowl. It came with Brown Rice, Black Beans, Corn, Chicken Beast, and Guacamole on top. Did you read ALL of that?! That bowl was so big, I had a lot of left-overs for later in the day. It is a great meal right after the gym. I will definitely be coming back here more often. How you been to Whole Greens Cafe? read more

I was so excited to try this place out, unfortunately it was the worst chicken Caesar wrap I 've ever had and for $14.99 I expected a lot better. No crunch. It was mostly wrap than anything else. Very little lettuce and what makes a Caesar wrap inside. read more

My boyfriend and I got the caesar salad wrap, 2 smoothies, and a market salad with tuna on top. I've never been so underwhelmed. The smoothies tasted like flavored water - super thin, 0 substance to them at all. For $7.99 - ridiculous. My salads tuna looked like it had been regurgitated and the avocado was more brown than green. The caesar salad wrap was the only item that was edible - however had 0 caesar dressing in it. Complete waste of $50. read more

This place is AMAZINGGGG!! If you want healthy, fresh, DELICIOUS food come here!! The guy working was extremely nice and accommodating! Anything you want to customise on the menu you can totally change. He cooked our meals fresh while we were waiting. Brought us our fresh mint, lemon water that was so refreshing! Even gave us a sample of each sauce they have that they make in house. The food is so good you don't even need sauces! Our chicken came out piping hot and perfectly blackened. This place is a hidden gem, the owner is the guy behind the counter. He happily accommodated any adjustments & had the food out quickly. It was the most FRESH, most delicious lunch we could've asked for. The prices were exceptional for the potion size / freshness / quality of food we received. We ordered the kale salad, Brussels, quinoa bowl, along with two juices "the refresher" & "the hydrator." Cannot go wrong with any of these, I'll be dreaming of the Brussels until next time. If you go, you must try the refresher juice. WILL BE BACK!! read more

What a rip off! Went in and ordered the brown rice bowl with scoop of can tuna fish- total was $18- after waiting 20 mins for the order to be prepared it came out so friggin small! The actual container is super shallow, so looks deceiving at first glance with the wide container... There might be 1/4c of rice and a few of small pieces of each ingredient. I understand the cost of everything has gone up but this is just taking advantage- I wish I had asked for my money back and not accepted this. Will never go back! read more

I was up in Delray for the week for Delray Beach Open and was tired of eating heavy foods so I looked for a salad place and found Whole Green Cafe! I called up for take out to bring back to the hotel and got a market salad with chicken and tuna salad and a Hardy Salad with chicken and tuna salad both with the Lemon Oil dressing. I also got a green juice with ginger. It wasn't cheap, but totally worth it! Total was $52 plus I left $8 in tip for the extremely helpful young lady behind the counter. The salads were both the best I have ever had and they were the perfect size! I hate when I pay $15 for a tiny salad. The potatoes in the Hardy salad were lemony and delicious. Both salads had chickpeas which are my favorite add on to any salad. I was able to make two meals out of my salad and my bf scarfed his up while saying how it was the best salad he has ever had. The green juice was refreshing and perfect. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area for work or play. read more
