Great name for a gluten free place that is built on serving fresh food. The reviews were pretty good so went here to check out the menu. It is very small inside with a few tables but really cute and well designed. The vibe of the place made me think of fresh fresh fresh. Ordered a coffee and sat for a bit reviewing the menu.

    THE OG BURGER

Drove an hour to try this place out and it was delicious. OG burger was good af. My gf got a grilled chicken sandwich that was well cooked and well seasoned and she loved it. The buns for sandwiches are delicious. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was super clean.

The key word for Ripe is "fresh". From the restaurant's name to the bright, sunlit dining area and to the fresh, healthy menu selections, everything about Ripe is fresh, clean and wholesome. A group of 7 of us stopped by Ripe for lunch. The cashier and prep cook at this quick-serve restaurant didn't miss a beat as they provided prompt, efficient service, even when we requested some tweaks to the items we ordered. The menu features both lunch and breakfast choices, with a focus on healthy fare, especially salads and bowls. They also include a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and quesadillas. A couple of people ordered the tuna poke bowl and were satisfied with their meal. A few others ordered the Greek salad, which included feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes along with the greens. The salad was tasty and a nice size portion. And the dressing was delicious. I had the Tulum Lifter rice bowl with chicken. It was very good and quite satisfying. The only disappointment was the avocado toast with poached eggs. The person expected the eggs to be runny so the yolk could mix with the toast, but they were fully cooked. The Ripe server quickly replaced the entree and apologized for the miscommunication. Overall, we had a nice lunch and plan to stop by again soon.

I wish there was more locations around South Florida of ripe because it's the perfect affordable healthy food restaurant. I got a delicious salad that tasted great with such fresh and tasty salmon I was blown away. They also give you $5 off your first order and the staff is so friendly and helps answer any questions with a smile. There was plenty of seating and parking. The inside is bright and spacious with an overall calm atmosphere. Bonus points since it's 100% vegan!

I bookmarked this place to try out when in the area because it's gluten free. From most of the reviews it seems like the menu has changed, however I like the options listed. I was torn between a burger and a burrito and I opted for the seasoned beef burrito with fries and I was pleased with my choice. The restaurant is beautiful decorated and matched the aesthetics of the area. Service was a bit off. The menus were lamented and just thrown about the front register with no one to greet you. After waiting for a few minutes someone came up to say someone would be there soon. I placed the order to go and thoroughly enjoyed it at home. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the burrito. Not the burrito and fries were delicious. I will be back to try more items.

Menú changed and food changed. What was once one of favorites was not enjoyed tonight. I brought 6 of my friends and everyone of them was highly disappointed. One ordered the Mediterranean with chicken as an add on and they gave him one less falafel. Why would you give less for an add on. The girls had no idea about any questions we asked about the menu. They forgot the dressing. We had to ask for it. The bowls were super dry. The dressing didn't help much. I miss the turkey in rice bun that I previously ate here. No longer on the menu.

I will always happily go out of my way to try dedicated gluten-free restaurants, and Ripe didn't disappoint. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffles, margherita pizza, and garlic fries. The staff were friendly, and the interior is bright, clean, and updated. The only reason I'd knock a star off is for the location; we would have returned during our stay if it hadn't been out of the way. If this was closer to downtown Delray, it'd be easier to visit when staying on vacation and not needing to take an uber to get there.

This is the sign that was hanging in the restaurant

Terrible restaurant service was horrendous. The teriyaki bowl that we ordered was dry so we asked for extra teriyaki sauce They charge you for salad dressing and dipping sauces when we went up to the register to pay for it, they refused to service you and pointed to a sign on the wall indicating we have the right to refuse service. The girl menu d the counter was so rude she should not be working with the public. We would Never go back there again. It's no wonder the place was empty on a Friday night with Service like that cannot see this restaurant lasting much longer.

NOTE: the menu which is on the Yelp website is the original menu which is wonderful and offers so much flavor and deliciousness especially for Celiacs. The menu on the website is the menu the new owners dreamed up and is a nightmare in flavor and texture. Out with the new and bring back the old menu.

The photo says it all. Burnt and gross !! They changed the menu, not like it used to be. Very disappointed

    PAD THAI
    Legna C.

I really want to give this place another chance. I stopped in, thinking it would be fast so that I could get on the road for the 3 hour drive that awaited me. Their selection seemed great and healthy. I chose the pad Thai bowl and added the quinoa crusted chicken on top. I didn't realize it already came with chicken mixed inside. But not mad at the extra chicken I got, very yummy crispy crust. Also, I was going off of all of the pictures that I see on here that seem to be from about a year ago - and this is completely my fault not the restaurant's fault bc it does say rice noodle on the menu, BUT all the photos on here have what looks like zucchini noodles in the pad thai and that's what I was expecting. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed to have a really, really hot plate of rice noodles. It's just not what I expected and not what I wanted. That said, it was super flavorful, had its own chicken breast mixed into it, and a large heavy portion I think this is all my fault because I was in a hurry. Most of the patrons that were in there with me took really long to get their food as well so I do think that's a downfall next time I just wanna come in with out the time pressure I wanna try some of their other options it's very clean smells amazing. The staff were really nice however it did take long.

Ripe is truly a gem! I was thrilled to discover a new option for reasonably priced, healthy dining in Delray. Ripe presents a 100% gluten-free menu! We started with the Asian Cauliflower Fingers and Sweet Potatoes Fries, both were flavorful and paired well with the Garlic Aioli and Sriracha Honey dipping sauces. For entrees, we tried the Tuna Poke Bowl and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Both were equally delicious and the portion sizes were much bigger than expected. We left happily full and had enough food to bring home leftovers, all for under $50 - truly a steal in SFL. I was so impressed with the quality ingredients in all of our meals! I would highly recommend!!!

We were two couples dining on a Friday evening and loved every dish we tried. We were a little hesitant as the only reservation we'd been able to get was for outside. The temps were going to be in the high eighties. I'm glad we still came. There was a slight breeze, plus the fans, and the covered tenting, made for a comfortable setting. And it was a tad quieter sitting outside. Our only minor quibble was that our server was busy entertaining and had a lot of tables. But although it was a long time between courses, we got to relax and enjoy our conversations. My husband and I shared a grilled Caesar. The baby lettuce had a nice smoky flavor. It was a good appetizer. After that he had the pb and fois gras -- which he adored. And I had the grilled artichokes. It was not what I expected -- I was thinking they would be whole. But the dish was good. We shared lamb meatballs next -- and they were very good. Our friends started with the burrata. The plate was gorgeous -- so colorful. And the burrata very creamy. For their main dishes, she had the lobster and shrimp flatbread and he had the grilled salmon rice bowl. They both enjoyed their choices. For dessert, we had the blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Served hot, it was slightly sweet without being cloying. We can't wait to bring friends here. We've already recommended the restaurant to folks several times.

That said, I'm taking off one star because of the way reservations are handled before opening. I typically make a 5:00 PM reservation and arrive a few minutes early (around 4:55 PM), only to find a large crowd of guests waiting outside. This has happened multiple times. In Florida's summer heat, it's uncomfortable and frankly unnecessary to have dozens of customers--many of them elderly--standing outside in 90+ degree weather while waiting for the doors to open. During my most recent visit, people were visibly frustrated, hot, and asking why they couldn't simply wait inside the air-conditioned lobby. The issue seems to be a combination of policy and execution. The host staff often appear surprised when guests are annoyed, but the frustration is entirely predictable. If someone has a reservation and arrives a few minutes early, they should be allowed to wait comfortably inside rather than standing outside in the heat. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and want to keep coming back, but this is an easily fixable customer experience issue. A simple change to allow guests to wait indoors before seating would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I hope you take this as a friendly reminder that we want to eat here, we just don't want to boil outside.

This was my first visit and my first time trying them, and I was impressed by how many options they offer. The customization is extensive without feeling overwhelming, and everything looked fresh and well maintained. I went with the falafel bowl, built over rice and lettuce, and one standout detail was that they offered three different rice options. I chose the lentil rice, which had excellent flavor and added a nice depth to the bowl. All of the toppings, condiments, and add-ons tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The falafel itself was satisfying, and the overall meal felt balanced--filling without being heavy. It gave that ideal healthy, energized feeling rather than leaving me sluggish afterward. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was very clean, which always matters in a fast-casual setting, and the service stood out. The staff was welcoming, and the manager came by our table several times to check in and make sure everything was going well, which added a personal touch that you don't always get in this style of restaurant. Overall, a very solid first experience. Fresh food, strong service, clean environment, and plenty of options. I'd definitely return and would recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for Mediterranean done in a casual, customizable format.

Staff greeted us when we entered and helped explain how their menu. It is very similar to the other "fill a bowl" concept, casual restaurants, but in this case Mediterranean delights await you. There are several different types of proteins, and as a pesco-vegetarian, I was pleased to see tofu as an option. There's falafel too! (The tofu was well seasoned and not bland little cubes of food.) You can do a bed of greens, pita, hummus, or rice as your base. I went with the rice which was deliciously seasoned, though (spoiler alert!) next time I might go with hummus. There are many fresh herbs options for toppings, including spices and sauces. All the vegetables were crispy, and the portions were generous. The price point is fair and what you would expect to see at similar restaurants. I wish Olive U were closer to my home, because it's a great fresh option if you're looking for a quick take-home meal as well. I did see that they offer family-style dinners where you get a large portion and everybody eats the same thing. I think that is a great idea and not something I've seen at the other bowl - style restaurants. As I've already spoiled above (hee her , I definitely plan a return visit one day. Or they could just build locations in Broward! Hint hint.
