Despite this, the employee prepared the smoothie with banana while we all watched. When we asked again to confirm there was no banana, she said there wasn't even though she had just added it. We had to throw the smoothie away without even being able to drink it. As we were leaving, she then mentioned that bananas are regularly used in the blender, meaning there could be cross-contamination. This should have been communicated before paying and preparing the drink, especially given a stated allergy. This situation could have been very dangerous. There was a clear lack of attention and awareness regarding food allergies. Staff should be properly trained to handle allergy-related requests. I would rather go out of my way to another location than return here.

My favorite treat here is the classic acai bowl. You can customize to your liking and it's always delicious. They have multiple types of bowls, too, including mango, coconut, banana, and pitaya. There's something for everyone! Also, I adore the monthly stickers and my water bottle is full of them.

1 Star Completely unacceptable…read more I ordered a meal and a coffee. The meal arrived, but after over ONE HOUR of waiting for the coffee, I finally asked what was happening. Only then was I told they were "too busy" and had simply forgotten my order. To make it worse, the manager's excuse was that the truck hadn't arrived with the hot cups. That's absurd. I was sitting down, not ordering takeaway, and I was absolutely not expecting a paper cup. A sit-down customer should be served coffee in a ceramic cup, period. No real apology. No accountability. Just excuses stacked on excuses. Being busy is not an excuse for forgetting an order for an hour, and supply issues are not the customer's problem. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and basic service standards. Terrible experience. Never going back. Avoid this place. Review for Pura Vida Miami - Delray Beach The guy on the photo it's the manager of that location, he shouldn't not be the manager; rude, no manners.

My wife, eight-year-old daughter, and I went on a Saturday morning in July. Here's our experience. 1) Food: The owner Allen makes fresh Argentinian empanadas in 12 flavors, including a vegan option and sweet one. The savory empanadas range from classic to more American inspired like the Cheeseburger Empanada. We ordered the Carne Empanada and Spicy BBQ Pork Empanada. Both were excellent- full of flavor, fresh, and so good. We ended up ordering an extra Carne one because our daughter loved it too. They also sell smoothies and acai bowls. We all enjoyed the Acai Nutella Bowl with raspberries, bananas, and more. (Ask for extra spoons to share.) 2) Drinks: They sell coffee drinks like lattes and cafe con leche and Coca-Cola products. Three kinds of beers are on the menu too. 3) Service: Allen runs the entire shop. He's kind and passionate about the business he's building for his family. Food comes out quickly. 4) Space: Inside a tiny space within a building with local shops and murals, The Gringo comes with a tiny window where you order. A few picnic tables are nearby with umbrellas for shade. So far, The Gringo is the best food experience we've had in Delray Beach!
