As a customer, I expect a level of professional accuracy that doesn't require me to audit my own bag. When I drove back to the restaurant, the service remained dismissive. Despite being the only person in the building, I was ignored for several minutes. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I was taught that you never blame the customer for a staff error. There was no apology, no offer of a refund for the missing item, and no gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience.
