I was looking for something new for lunch and popped in here for lunch the other day. It's located in the plaza on the southeast corner of Old Boynton and Military next to Planet Fitness. I could see many people coming in there before and after a visit to the gym since they sell lots of supplements as well. The Florida sunrise smoothie had mango, pineapple, and strawberries and it was surprisingly bland. The chicken pesto panini sandwich with a side of Sun chips I got was better and it had grilled chicken and mozzarella with the omit of tomatoes by choice. I'm not sure what was going on with that smoothie and I wasn't able to find out. There was a lady behind the counter that made the order fresh and the sandwich was brought out when it was ready by another staff member. It wasn't busy and it took about 10 minutes to receive the order. It was a high cost ($16) for a small lunch and a tasteless smoothie and it didn't exceed my expectations. read more

Natural Blends is located next to Planet Fitness and across the street from the Boynton YMCA in the Boynton Trails plaza. This nutritional smoothie shop is a "natural " fit for the area. The store seemed to be in the planning stages for quite a while probably due to the Covid shutdown but it's been open now for a couple of weeks. The concept is awesome. You literally can substitute your junky meals now with a drink or a Acai bowl that can be fortified in any number of ways to suit your taste or needs. They also have salads, sandwiches, wraps and flatbreads. We've already frequented this "juice joint" enough to punch out our frequent customer cards earning 2 freebies. Specialty blends come 16 oz for $5.95, 24 oz for $6.95 and 32 oz for $8.50. Smoothies are a dollar less and both come in a multitude of fruity combinations to which you can add desired addon boosters such as protein, fat burner, fiber, probiotics and lucky me even something for hangovers! Service is getting better by the day as the staff learns the ins and outs of all the many options. Try it next time you consider all the fat and salt in a Big Mac with fries. At approx 1pm today I bought a large smoothie called peanut butter powder, very disappointing picture of what they gave me below but this is the least issue I had. The biggest turn off was when I observed the shorter female scratching her scalp and then immediately grabbed hand full of ingredients for the customer in front of me bowls. I felt soo bad I wanted to warn them but Didn't wanna cause any issues. Both young ladies were very pleasant I think maybe more training especially sanitary training. I also noticed most of everyone in there kinda irritated becaUe of the long wait, but I blame management for that because it was obvious when I observed them studying the ingredients list as they made different items it was obvious they not fluent with the products quite yet. However the appearance of the inside is appealing. Hopefully management tightens the crew up with training and they can possibly improve. read more

I went to Natural Blends for the first (and last) time. I ordered a 24oz. Peachkini and was very disappointed. It was watered down and had very little flavor. I went back in to ask the girl to add some fruit. She wound up remaking the smoothie instead and threw out the first one. The second smoothie was better tasting, but not great, and the cup was only filled to the line, not the top. I definitely did not get my money's worth and will not return. read more
