The Seed is one of my favorite local coffee shops. I really like that they are constantly changing up their flavors into new, exciting drink combinations to match the seasons. Not only do they use syrups, but they also use unique toppers and milk options!!!! One of my favorite drinks is the banana latte which uses banana milk and is topped with dried bananas. It is unreal and doesn't compare to any coffee I have had anywhere! I came here to try their cherry latte to add a little pink to my February and was a happy camper! Their drinks burst with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. I appreciate how well crafted they are!! This location isn't one I would visit if you're looking to sit and enjoy your coffee. It's on the smaller side and only has two very tiny tables out front, however , the coffee and snacks are just as delicious as the one on the Ave! The staff members are also incredibly friendly and made this an overall excellent experience. Since I was in Boynton area I decided to go to a familiar place rather than try something new. I love the Seed and usually go to the Lighthouse Point location. I've also been to the Boca one a few times. Drinks are always good and so is the service. This one however was very different. It's so small that there is barely room to wait so forget sitting inside. The music was so loud that the person taking my order had to tell his coworkers to turn it down because he couldn't hear me. They also had a sign saying no espresso so guess that meant no specialty latte that I was looking forward to. We ordered a hot drip coffee and it was cold. We asked to have it fixed and the woman said she could steam it. It took some time but the coffee was still just room temperature. The matcha and the baked goods were good but this location doesn't compare to LHP. read more

I ordered a dragon fruit bowl, a cinnamon crunch toast coffee, a coconut matcha, and stuffed everything bagel. I had high hopes going in from reading their reviews. Food and drinks were subpar. The cream cheese stuffed inside the bagel was a bit saltier for my taste and the cinnamon coffee was not strong enough, it had too much milk. The dragon fruit bowl was the only item I enjoyed. Service was slow and the staff seemed incompetent. They gave my order to another person that had placed their order Atleast 15 mins after me. I was the only customer waiting inside and they didn't even check up on me. I had to ask how long my dragonfruit bowl is going to take and they suddenly realized they had given it to another customer. Unfortunately I will not drive out of my way for this location. read more

Ordered a strawberry matcha. I didn't get that's earthy matcha taste that I love, it tasted like strawberry milk. I would give them another try to try their other drinks and treats though. We came here for the first time in September and it was quite possibly the best almond croissant I've ever had so we bookmarked it to come again when we are visiting family. We did think the coffee needed some work (not enough flavor) but were willing to try it again. I got the fruity pebbles latte and an almond croissant again, while hubby got the reese's puffs latte and a scallion cream cheese bagel bomb. The lattes hit it out of the park this time! The flavor balance was perfect and the croissant still was at the same level that I remember it. I will say that I liked the reese's latte better but I don't think that I could drink all of it. I had a bite of the bagel bomb and it was full of flavor! This place doesn't really have full food - it's just like for snacks and a drink. Second coffee of the morning after spending some time at the beach. This is a small shop with only two chairs inside that are ideally for waiting while your order is being prepared. Three metal chairs and tables outside under the eaves to enjoy your meal or you'll just have to take it to go. Coffee, a pastry and sitting to enjoy the weather that helps explain why the snowbirds flock to Florida in February. We enjoyed an almond croissant and a "bagel bomb." The bagel bomb is a fluffy pastry stuffed with cream cheese and topped with "everything" seasoning. It was meh and I'd skip that next time. Maybe fill it with sweetened cheese like a danish? I've been wanting to try The Seed for a while now. It's a very small store front with almost no seating inside and three small tables outside. It's pretty easy to order. They have menus out and all food is displayed in a pastry case. They have a very extensive menu of coffees, teas and food so there's a lot to choose from. The woman at the register was helpful and they had samples of coffee cake. I ordered a latte with oat milk and sugar free vanilla, a spinach and cheese quiche and a zucchini walnut loaf. The food came out quick and it was delicious. The quiche was fluffy and the loaf was moist. The coffee was nothing special. It wasn't overly strong and it wasn't too watery. If I go back, I'd ask for half the amount of syrup. My mom was going to get a salad but they were pre packaged and the lettuce looked brown and wilted in all of them. I do think it's a little bit overhyped, and over priced, but I will be going back. read more

It's great having more cafes and bakeries in the Boynton area and The Seed does not disappoint. There is sometimes a line here so I recommend allowing yourself some extra time if you're in a hurry. I typically order their Everything bagel bombs which is filled with cream cheese inside and the perfect portion for breakfast. I also enjoy the Banana coconut loaf which is vegan. For drinks I like the Tumeric latte which is Golden Milk inspired and tastes soothing. A cute little coffee shop with a large selection of drinks but also light bites. (Salads, açaí bowls, breakfast options) We ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte and the s'mores latte. Both were very good. I usually prefer a little more of a milky based coffee vs a strong coffee drink, so this was perfect. For food, we ordered the brunch sandwich, the salted chocolate muffin, and an empanada. Everything was so good, and filling too. The brunch sandwich is a perfect size, it's a generous egg bite with 2 pieces of bacon wrapped around it. The service was great too. Nothing crazy about this place; small little shop. Coffee was decent. I got a PSL with oat milk -- They had decaf espresso which was nice because not all coffee shops carry it. There was a lot of spice to the PSL, but it wasn't overpowering. I also got on of the Everything Bagel Bombs which was basically a croissant stuffed with cream cheese and topped with everything seasoning. They warmed it up which made it extra scrumptious. The service was a little awkward, but it may have just been me since I wasn't fully awake or prepared with my order. I've been looking forward to trying this spot for some time. So I stopped in over the weekend to grab some chocolate croissants and a coffee. I got my hubby a chocolate croissant as well as myself. They were pretty to look at and they offered to heat them up which was nice, however they were definitely old and not fresh. They tasted days old. I opted for the cinnamon toast coffee but I didn't really get the cinnamon toast taste. It just tasted like a regular coffee. Made a stop by the seed this morning for some lattes! The Boynton location is great to pop in and grab beverages to go or sit at one of their outdoor tables. Used to be our go to but has gone down hill. Paid $43 for 3 drinks and two pastries. $8 matcha was mostly milk and when we asked if they would be able to add more or remake we were told it would be an up charge. Save your money and go 10 minutes north to Carew's! You can add alt milks, syrups and cold foam for less than a regular drink at Carew's. I absolutely love the seed and was so excited to find another location. This one is smaller than most but it does make the ordering process faster. Still a location just as aesthetic as the rest with the same amount of care in drink making. Really only a bar of seating inside for 2 people but there are a few outdoor tables. Easy to find parking in the lot. I ordered my favorite Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte with macadamia nut milk and my fiancé ordered the strawberries and cream latte with macadamia nut milk. First of all we love macadamia nut milk and whenever it is an option we must have it. Totally obsessed. I do have to say the strawberries and creme latte was absolutely delicious and almost a new favorite over the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte, almost. Both are definitely worth it. It smelt like heaven or something really close to it when i walked in. The staff that helped me were very patient and kind. It was my first time visiting and they made sure to help me with what they offered and asked what I had a taste for . The pricing is average $... my coffee was about $6 and my roll was about $6 also.
