I didn't know they had a location here but I learned through their yelp event. I came on my own and I'm not part of the event. Food was good and similar to the other location. The vibe is different as it's not nearly as busy. The pizza was good and it's a sour dough so it's a bit better than regular dough. Not gluten free but a good choice for gluten sensitive tummies. Worth a stop if you're driving through the area or at Bethesda hospital. It's not too far.

The sourdough crust really makes a difference. All the flavor without the heavy feeling after eating a small pie. The pepperoni itself tasted amazing. When we mentioned how flavorful it was, the waitress went to the back to find out and let us know the name of the supplier. They are proud of the ingredients they use and they should be as it is reflected in the flavor of the pizza. Modern interior. Nice atmosphere. You can see the guys making your pizza fresh. I would say slightly elevated pricing compared to other places. Will def come back to try some other pies.

This a great place if you're looking for a unique twist on pizza. Great location for small gatherings as there is not much room. But I say just ask the staff their top picks, you can't go wrong. The staff is very attentive friendly and fast. Don't skip out on the wings either, the dip that comes with it is very fresh and pairs well.

We're going to start off with the service here. I think this is probably the best service we've had pretty much anywhere. Zureli the hostess was wonderful. It was our first time here and we tried the pistachio pizza and the pepperoni onion. Both were very very good. Will definitely be back.

This review is all personal preference. We were pretty excited to finally get to try this pizza restaurant. This restaurant is very close to our home and we have tried most of the pizza restaurants around the area (Mr. 01, cucina Moderna, blaze, Sal's and Anthony's). How ya Doughin and Anthony's was by far our least favorite, may be it's because the charred or burnt crust makes it bitter. Now, we did take out and didn't dine in so we couldn't tell how the service was but the lady (I think she might have been the manager) took our to go order and explained everything and helped us picked some of the pizzas. The restaurant looks very inviting and somewhat small but cozy. There was one other table sitting when I placed the order. We ordered one 12in cheese pizza, one 16in drunken ball (meatball ala vodka) pizza and a beet salad. The pizzas she did pointed out that the doughs are sourdough and made a little bit with burnt crust. The smaller cheese pizza I ordered less burnt and still my daughter didn't like the flavor (she did say Mr. 01 is much better and less greasy). The drunken ball pizza was regular and was pretty charred and a bit too bitter for our taste. The beet salad was great!! Plenty of beets and flavor was delightful and fresh!! Only one complaint about the drunken pizza was we ordered 16in and supposed to be cut into 6 or 8 slice cuts (couldn't remember but pizza that big should be 8) anyway, when we got home it was 6 irregularly cut slices (meaning 2 tiny slice, 2 medium sized slices and 2 super huge slices) I thought I was pretty funny. But anyway, if they're charging this price for pizzas, they should pay more attention to all detail aspects of the product being put out! Total for 3 items was $76! Our first experience at How Ya Doughin was just mid and could have been much better but was glad that we finally tried it.

Love that I found this spot! Delicious brick oven pizza. The dough was chewy and toppings superb! Yum!

I love this place. Fire Oven is unique. They also have specials, which I didn't know. We went for pizza, but they had a buy one get one meatball dinner, so we go that and 2 pizzas to take home. Both DELICIOUS. Very unique--I love the crust. Their spicy pizzas are REALLY SPICY (which I like) but know what you're getting. You can get your pizza anyway you like it but they have some special ones too. Highly recommend

The food was average to me. Nothing to write home about. Definitely more seasoning should be added and the wings were undercooked as well. When I bit into one it was still pink on the inside. I like that they change their menu monthly and offer new varieties of pizza to try'. We had a short wait and we had to ask our waiter to bring our utensils to us twice. It's pretty small in here though so you're seated very close to other customers and can heat their conversations. I would give them another try though just to see what variety of pizza will be available for the following month.

We made an impromptu stop here to get our pizza fix last night. On the drive home, we saw How Ya Dough'n and said why not?! There was a small crowd and we were seated right away when we walked in. The cheese and vodka pizzas were ordered. I mentioned to the waitress if we could do half and half on one pizza since the kids didn't want what the parents wanted...lol. It was stated it couldn't since one of them had no sauce and the other did. I mentioned it was alright and didn't think anything else about it. We were surprised when the staff surprised us with a meatball appetizer and cheesy garlic bread on the house. The staff overheard me asking about making the pizzas half and half. They were sorry they couldn't accommodate our request. Everything was delicious! The meatballs, bread, and pizzas were great. The staff was excellent with making sure we were happy with our food. There wasn't a long wait for the food and the friendly service didn't go unnoticed. Thanks for a nice dinner!

Sooo happy to finally have a good pizza spot close to home. I've been here a handful of times now to either eat in or pick up and all of the pizzas no matter what I've tried, have been consistently excellent. The dry rub wings are also top notch. I've also had their beet salad on occasion, which is unique and refreshing. Nice casual date night or week night choice, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice to order a bunch of pizzas to watch Sunday night football unless you want to rack up the bill..pizzas are a little pricy. But they don't disappoint!

Came on Friday at 11:30 am for some pizza. This is located in a new strip mall but very few stores are open to date. Slices are not sold. You must buy the 4 or 6 slice pies. Salads and various sandwiches as well as wings and meatballs are options too. Venue is decorated in industrial style and very clean. Single bathroom is very cute. Parking is easy in plaza lot. We had the OG pizza. We found it a bit too salty but they said it was because the mozzarella cheese is purchased locally and fresh and sometimes it comes that way. But it was delicious regardless and hit the spot. We will come back again.

Read this Health Department review by the Palm Beach County Health Department. Not exactly a place I want me kids to eat. Maybe they could use some of the money from their sky-high prices to actually clean their kitchen.

    Do you sell slices?

No. They only sell pies no slices. Either a small pie or larger pie.

Do you have cauliflower pizza crust?

No, but they use a sourdough based crust which is healthier than regular pizza dough. It's a bit more tolerable to those with gluten sensitive diets but not for celiac disease.

Do they serve beer and wine?

They've got a strong lineup of pies behind the counter and some great lunch specials that make it an easy midday stop. I kept it simple with a classic cheese slice and a water for $6 (a steal). There's also a two-slice and drink combo for $8.95, but the slices here are generously sized, so one was more than satisfying for me. Service was quick and genuinely friendly--my slice was heated up and in hand within minutes. The pizza itself checked all the boxes: hot, foldable, with a crisp crust that still had that slight chew you want in a true NY-style slice. Simple, classic, and done right. The pizzas were excellent consistent with their high standards and arrived very quickly. However, the service this time was disappointing. My friend found this place by looking up a decent place to order from that was still open at 9pm and taking orders. This is when we found Alfa Pizzeria. We called and asked if it was too late to order as it was only 1 hour before closing time and we were going to be coming from half an hour away. To our pleasant surprise they said they could take our order and we finished ordering half an hour before they closed. Even knowing we would be there 5 mins before closing, they were very kind and accommodating. We ordered a large margarita pizza, and a large pepperoni pizza, both of which were fresh, had the right amount of cheese to sauce, to meat ratio, and had amazing flavor. We also ordered one chicken Parmesan sub and had a special request for a shrimp Parmesan sub too not on the menu, which they kindly created just for us. The chicken was moist and fresh and the marinara sauce was delicious! There was a generous amount of cheese on both as well. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were fresh as well. My brother and sister who ordered the subs said that the flavor was just perfect. I ordered the penne alla vodka pasta, and believe me when I say this is the best penne alla vodka pasta I've had in a VERY long time. The portion was extremely generous for the price; enough for me to have 3 servings, 2 extra for later days (yes it holds up well for leftovers too). The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce flavor was outstanding! A perfect blend of cream and red sauce with just the right amount of garlic and spices. The garlic knots were even amazing. They were soft, had a generous portion of garlic but not too much, a good amount of Parmesan and herbs as well. We picked up the food so I can't say too much about the ambience other than that the restaurant decor was cool and the restaurant clean. The people were the kindest of all, thanking us continuously, and even giving me a pint of extra sauce when they heard I liked extra sauce on my pasta. TLDR: All in all the food was excellent, the service impeccable, and all in a little pizza shop in a random plaza. I would come back here a million times over; this is my new favorite Italian/pizza place, even half an hour away!
