This is place is NOT totally awesome, infact it is over priced for the portion size and the attitude from the employee behind the counter. This was definitely a one and done because there was nothing special about this place. DO NOT ORDER A SALAD because it only comes with 3 small cucumber slices, 2 green pepper slices, onions, and 4 tiny tomato slices for $13.99. If you want the other toppings that come on a sub, there is individually a $.75 upcharge for sweet peppers, hot peppers, pickles, and jalapenos. If I had known before I ordered, I would have just gotten the sub that was the same price as my "sub in a tub" (no bread). My salad was just boring and not TOTALLY AWESOME! I ordered my Chef Salad to go and when I got home, it was missing the turkey and the roast beef was only half of a slice. Less than 3 oz. of meat on the whole salad. I was in the area during lunch when I discovered this great sub shop in the Woodlake Boulevard Plaza. Totally Awesome Subs has been serving up fresh and delicious subs and salads since 2011. Totally Awesome Subs has a classic rock theme.. There are rock music posters and collectibles on the walls and music playing throughout the cafe. There are a number of tables if you want to eat in or you can take your meal to go as I did. All of the subs and salads are made with high quality meat and cheese, locally sourced produce, and fresh baked bread. The menu includes cold subs and wraps, hot subs including their signature subs, fresh salads, soups, and snacks. Feel free to customize your meal to your taste. I decided on the 8 inch Italian sub with ham, capicola, Genoa salami, and provolone. All subs come with lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet and hot peppers, oil vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, mayo, and mustard. Any other toppings are an additional price. I loved that they sliced the meet fresh for my sandwich and the bread was fresh. I took my sub to go to enjoy at a nearby park but I felt welcome to dine in. Cool place with some sweet pics, posters, and guitars on the walls. I really enjoyed the throwback rock and roll vibe. Menu looks great, I've only been twice and both times I had cold subs and they were quite good. The service is good and the people are friendly. Prices are reasonable so you have nothing to lose. Very generous portions of meat on the sub, however, I'm not a fan of being nickel and dimed for ingredients that are basic when making a sub. Charging $0.35 each for mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, oregano when your paying $15 and up for a sub is ridiculous. While I somewhat get an upcharge for using a credit card, charging for basic ingredients makes it less desirable of a destination. I'd give the sub a 7-8 on a scale of 10. It's not Laspadas or V&S deli but it's solid, especially with limited options in the area. read more

TOTALLY AWEFUL SUBS?? Been going here for a couple of years. On the expensive side compared to other sub shops in the area, but the quality and taste were always worth it!! But .... Today I got the usual. Large Steak and cheese with mushrooms (this time extra mushrooms) and it cost me close to $18. The taste was not on par but what got me was the portion. The steak and cheese hardly filled the roll. Almost like a small order served in the large roll. Never had this issue in the past. I know costs have been going up, not sure if that's what's at stake here, but this is ridiculous. If you are going to charge premium orices, I expect a premium sandwich Won't be going here anymore. Columbino on Forrest Hill large sub was around $10 and just as good. NY Style Pizza on Lake Worth Rd ad Jog also a great sub and cheaper. This is one of the best sub shops that I've been to. I was undecided on if I wanted my sub hot or cold and the very friendly staff panini pressed my sub to give me a little bit of both. As I was eating it they asked me if I liked it. Great customer service! The sub itself was delicious and made with love. They cut the meats and cheeses in front of me which explains the very fresh taste! The price was around 20$ for a chip combo which seems to be the norm nowadays. The place itself was very clean and inviting. They have the decor and music of upbeat 80s rock style which is a fun concept. Totally recommend this spot! read more

Wife got a Rachel and I got a Philly Cheesesteak with fries and a soda. Nice family run business. They are a little hammered at lunch so hot subs can take a little bit. 12" Philly Cheesesteak 8" Rachel Fries Soda Was 36.67 They are a cash business so if you use a credit card there is a 3.5% charge. Let me tell you we were far from disappointed at not only the prices, but the quality. We got the boss sub which was supposed to have her by and honestly, the steak was so gross. It was overcooked hard and crummy. The subs were nothing to write home about. Certainly not worth than nearly $18 apiece. Editing to respond to the business owner: Lots of people want to work -- hearing "nobody wants to work anymore" is whiny and annoying and transparently wrong. You're not paying enough. Period. People don't want to work for what you're offering for the job. If you can't pay people more and sell an affordable product, then say that. Delicious!!! I stopped in on recommendation from co-workers and guess what? This place didn't disappoint. Upon entering I was greeted quickly, there is a large menu board up on the walls and the specials of the day! They offer hot and cold subs, four types of breads, salads and burgers! I ordered the chicken philly on crusty Italian bread: yup melted in my mouth! The Staff was very nice, quick and spot on with the orders. Went to this place while visiting WPB area. I love sandwiches so saw that this place had good reviews so I wanted to try it. I ordered the chicken Philly and was kinda disappointed. It was chicken chunks instead of thinly sliced chicken breast like a Traditional cheesesteak. The flavor was pretty good. I ordered my sandwich about 30 mins before closing and had it there. Then my boyfriend asked me me to place an order for him to go (there was 9 mins left before closing). On the hunt to find a great local sub shop since last week. Last weekend we tried waggy dags which we really loved, this weekend we tried totally awesome subs which in my opinion were not very awesome. We got two large hot subs one small cold and one of which was a combo. Soda machines were out of most sodas in the fountain machine and the only thing they did have (lemonade) tasted very watered down. Aside from that i will say the cold sub was very fresh and good, deli meats cut on the spot. But the hot subs were so so mediocre and highly priced ons if which being almost $16 with no drink or side included. The bread wasnt toasted or anything and they just tasted so dry and plain. We did get one of them as a combo which included a drink and fries for an additional $5.50 but the drinks were as i said previously sub par and the fries tasted like old oil. Total was $50 which i thought was a bit high but maybe i felt that way because i was disappointed overall. Id say only get a cold sub here skip all the hot stuff. read more

The sub place was on the radar for over a year and I made the appearance to see what the hype was all about. I'm not sure I'm 100% on the name, but the subs are pretty good. When you walk in, the laid back atmosphere and the friendly crew didn't go unnoticed. There were different types of sandwiches, salads, soups, and other sides such as chips and fries available. I went for the meatball and provolone cheese sub and Chris got the Italian sub. Our kids split a turkey and cheese sub while all of us shared a couple bags of chips. The meatball sub was delicious and plentiful. However, I didn't find it much different from any other one that I've had before. I would definitely return and try some of their menu offerings. I drove 7.5 miles from my work to try this place. Reviews looked pretty solid. I was going to order a cheese steak but opted not to after inquiring how many ounces of steak in their sandwich. They only put 7 ounces and could not confirm if they used real american cheese and not the "kraft like slices" So based on that i decided to get the Italian on a seeded roll. The roll looked the part, but would break and flake apart. Maybe they were sitting for too long. The meat was almost non existent. I know the owner is going to refer to only using the finest quality meats and portion control. However, that not true. If you want to know what a real Italian Hoagie is or tastes like check out Primos in Boyton Beach. Its a Philly staple and makes a great product w/ out skimping on the meat. I felt they were over priced for what you get. Ohh and they charge you more for using a credit card. Its 2020 for crying out loud! Stop pushing the fees on to your customers, its part of the cost of doing business. read more

I ordered The Boss sandwich and my wife had a cheesesteak. We both were so happy with our meals. The fries were perfect, the sandwich's were fantastic, and restaurant was so clean, and pleasant. We are already planning our next visit back. I overheard someone say that they have been in business for eleven years, and I can say, if they keep doing what they are doing, I would expect them to be in business for a long, long time.
