So glad I was in the area to finally try this place! Inside is extremely clean, even the bathrooms are spotless. The decor is nice and sleek. Service was awesome, the young man at the counter was very helpful and friendly and he provided awesome recommendations. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered - Base - 1/2 rice with lentils 1/2 salad. Protein I got the double option, half olive u chicken and half gyro. I added pretty much every topping and I love that they don't up charge for the free options which really works for me since I eat a lot. Both proteins were cooked nicely, flavorful and juicy. All of the veggie toppings were super fresh. The bowl came up to about $17 and it was worth every penny. 5/5. There are a few other locations closer to my home and I really hope they're anywhere as good as this location. Coming here is a no brainer if you like fresh Mediterranean food. read more

I was visiting my mom in FL and wanted to try a new restaurant that was healthier. I saw that this was a Mediterranean place and I'm half middle eastern so I grew up with similar foods, so I know what is authentic and what tastes good. So we decided to get Olive U Mediterranean Grill for dinner ordered through uber eats. I ordered their create your own bowl with green falafel (there are two different kinds but most places have the green one), turmeric rice, extra tomatoes, cucumbers, extra pickles, chickpeas, feta cheese, house sauce, tahini, tzatziki, and hummus. Though the veggies were fresh, the food had absolutely NO flavor.... Not even the hummus tasted of anything except chickpeas (there should be some lemon and olive oil for example). While it was healthy and fresh, it having no flavor isn't what I'm used to. I didn't even have more than a few bites. The pickles were ok. My mom ordered the same thing but with the chicken shawarma and rice with lentils. She mentioned the same thing, no flavor despite having the chicken instead. If you know anything about middle eastern or Mediterranean food it NEVER lacks flavor, so this was very disappointing. We also ordered the Greek Fries which has their house sauce, feta cheese and paprika. I would say that despite being a bit soggy (probably due to it being delivered), this was the only menu item we got which had any sort of flavor at all. We ordered the Cilantro Lime Hummus as well, and I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately despite the slightly good flavor from the cilantro and lime combo, it had a distinct waxy aftertaste almost like when your lipstick gets in your food. I'm not sure what would cause this but maybe it just wasn't that fresh? Either way we both were left feeling hungry. I didn't have much to experience as far as service except that they included everything that was ordered in the bag and it was packed well. TLDR: Olive U Mediterranean Grill clearly doesn't love you if they are offering food with absolutely no flavor at all. Also, the cilantro lime hummus was waxy and artificial tasting. Despite the veggies being fresh, and the fries being ok, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially not for an authentic experience. read more

My husband was craving a salad for dinner as we'd had a big lunch. I remembered coming to one of their other locations for a Yelp West Palm event many years ago. And that they had a salad based option. So we decided to check them out. You go through the line by starting with a "base". We both chose salad. Other choices include rice or lentils or hummus. Then you choose your protein. I got their chicken shawarma. It's the same as their plain grilled chicken, but with added seasonings like cumin and curry. It's not spicy at all. My husband chose felafel. These are fried chick pea balls with herbs. Then there are your choices of toppings and sauces/dressings. There are 10 possible toppings. I chose their vinaigrette dressing. He had the house one. In addition, I added some hummus on the side. This was a small cup. You can also have a much larger hummus appetizer with a slice of pita. The chicken was a bit dry so the hummus was a good addition. We did feel like we were getting some fiber and eating "healthy". He was very happy with his choices and his meal. read more

I heard about their excellent gluten-free options and decided to give it a try. The staff patiently explained all the gluten-free items, which made me feel confident in my choice. I built a rice bowl with yellow rice as my base and opted for double protein: the Olive U Chicken and Falafel. The toppings bar was so fresh and vibrant. I added Romaine lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, feta, garbanzo beans, pickled cabbage, cucumbers, and olives. The house sauce and tahini dressing were amazingly flavorful and creamy. The cilantro hummus was also very yummy. Dining in was an enjoyable experience. The space was spotless and staff checked in twice to make sure we had everything we needed. That kind of attentive service really stands out in 2025. But the real star was the Greek fries. Topped with that incredible house sauce and crumbled feta, they were so good I'm still dreaming about them! The ordering style reminds me of a Chipotle where you pick a base, protein and then toppings. Delicious food and the house sauce is amazing! Pros: friendly staff that greet you upon entering, very clean, air conditioning nice and cold on a very hot day, fresh and tasty food, self serve beverage station, staff goes through and offers to take your trash and tray off the table while they clean, line to order goes quickly. Great place! *My only con is that for the price I was surprised at the stingy amount of gyro meat on my bowl. It was 4 small very thin strips of meat. A similar type bowl I ordered at same price at a Greek restaurant last week had probably 4 - 5 times the meat. He must have noticed my raised eyebrows lol. He asked twice if I wanted double meat but I declined since it's 4.00 more. My sister had falafel as protein and it looked to be a decent size serving. Next time I'll try my luck with chicken. My husband is home from work today and I wanted to try a different base. I really liked the chicken shawarma last time so we kept the protein. This time we tried the rice with lentil. I ordered online so hubby could see the options. I knew from the last order that the size was large and we could double the protein and it be enough food for us both. We did the lentil rice, double chicken shawarma, double all veggies except lettuce and asked for jalapeños on the side. I was not going to get the black olives due to last time one had a pit in it, but the owner reached out to me and informed me this should not be and he was going to get a different olive supplier. We added on 2 grape leaves, lime cilantro hummus and house sauce as well as the hot sauce (all sauces on the side). I got there at 11:22 and my bag was ready for pick up and I brought it home. They use cardboard containers so its nice knowing that it is recyclable. I dumped the ingredients from the container into a large bowl, added the hummus and house sauce and mixed it all up. My husband added jalapeños and hot sauce to his. It was delicious and next time I might try the hummus base. The rice with cinnamon just sounds odd, I might ask for a tiny side sample next order to try that. read more

Didn't Oder in person but off a delivery app. I called the store to confirm and the girl was understanding. The food is delicious however be aware if you have a gluten allergy. The website lists cinnamon rice but there is pasta noodles in the rice. The ingredient aren't fully listed on the menu which can be misleading since cinnamon and rice are gluten free. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat the food due to this allergy. Hopefully this feedback is helpful and taken seriously and employees/operators can be educated and have a place safe inclusive for all. Olive U just opened in Wellington and this location is such a great addition to the area. Olive U is a Chipotle style quick service Greek restaurant. All of the food feels fresh and healthy! I chose to do the pita with the olive u chicken. The chicken is a healthy 4oz portion and then added on my toppings. The staff is great and incredibly friendly. The restaurant was spotless clean.
