I sort of imagined that it had tables and stuff inside, but that wasn't the case. I saw a video on TikTok and I was in the area and decided I would have to try it. Inside the restaurant is a small kitchen area and an even smaller area to sit by the window on stools with long counter for eating. I only decided to try an appetizer of fried mushrooms. My friends and I were looking to grab a quick bite after an event we'd attended. The place was pretty busy with several guests ordering before us and, nearly all the tables out front filled. Despite the crowd the line moved fairly quickly. I ordered a Chicken Caesar wrap (comes with fries). They give you a receipt with your order number. My friends got lucky and snagged the last table outside and we sat and waited for our numbers to be called. Wait time was as expected given the number of people ordering. When we did received our food, it came out hot and fresh. We enjoyed our meal amongst the rambunctious late night crowd and city police lol. My wrap was pretty good. The best gyros!! And they are always open 1 hour later than all the bars in downtown (up to 5 am Fri-Sat) so they are the best late food too. No matter when you visit though, their food is delicious. If you're in a rush or it's later in the night, I recommend calling ahead and picking up! My favorite is definitely the gyro, all the toppings, with fries, and a side of tzatziki sauce. This place is absolute trash I got the pita shawarma. They probably think their costumers are too stupid to notice the difference between tehini and humus. My pita only had humus which I don't like. Finger licking good pita sandwich, you will not be disappointed... everything taste so fresh.

You know the drill, you've been drinking, you're looking for a place to get your munchies on and you stumble upon a place that's open at 230 AM. And it's Mediterranean convenient eats which is a change up from your normal pizza/hot dogs/Chinese/wings late night snackings. Upon walking here it was packed with drunks and people who were starving. So the wait times and aggressive behaviors were in action. Finally when I could order I went with the tabbouli salad w/ chicken wrap. I received my food after a 10 minute wait and then Lyfted back to my room and dug in. The wrap came with fries and total was around $11-12 which is a bit pricy for a meal like this. Nevertheless the portion is huge and they had a good amount of chicken in the wrap. Hardly any flavor though as it was bland. I thought maybe next time I should go with something more greasy but I don't know when I'll r back in West Palm Beach again. This was my 1st time at this hidden gem in West Palm Beach on Clematis Street. The freshness you could see and taste immediately after the 1st bite. There service was excellent, the young lady behind the counter gave so many suggestions on want their specialties were. I got the shrimp and avocado wrap, fresh made and the flavors inside exploded as soon as you bit into it. My son got the falafel platter with hummus tzatziki sauce, Baba goonish, rice and greek salad the flavors were incredible. (perhaps to culture the DNA of hash-cooks past.. Welcome, my friends, to Jurhashic Park!) Filthy floors. Beat-up, greasy walls and a mess of refrigeration and boxed crap in the dining room? Hoarder charm. You have to think that the health inspector is a relative. The food? The gyro sandwich was 20% meat, 70% lettuce and 10% gloppy mayo-tzatziki. One half slice of tomato. The meat is thin and dry. The sauce tasted more mayo than yogurt, the standard. How hard is it to screw up the world's easiest sandwich topping? The kitchen wasn't busy. Two guys in the back doing little until I ordered. So why not de-filth a bit? Because it's a hole in the wall where care, and time have been given up on. I'm not sure if this place needs new management, or a culinary paleontologist to study the debris for clues to pre-Jurhashic West Clematis, when the homeless roamed the block free-range. Have eaten here on and off over the past 15yr+ and they are usually good for a decent-to-good schwarma pita. FAR different experience today. Long story short, miscommunication or lack of communication on my order led me to receive a grilled mahi pita ($15) absolutely loaded with (steaming hot) mayo ("tartar sauce"). Large globs, mixed in with the lettuce, etc. Pretty disgusting to probably most diners, even if you like tartar sauce / lots of it. Inedible to me as I try to eat relatively healthy and don't eat mayo. Anyways.....NOT a huge deal at that point - mistakes happen...but when I brought my food back to the counter, the woman who took my order quickly made it clear that she was only interested in figuring out who was wrong - me or her - than resolving the situation. Ultimately, her only solution was offering me a side of tzatziki, which maybe I was supposed to eat for lunch instead of the mayo-soaked mahi mess? Things only got worse when in the middle of the exchange, a man who I later was told was the "manager" walked in. Noting there was an issue, he asked her to explain the problem which she did in her opinion (he never asked me) upon which he looked at me and said "not our fault". They then made it clear that they were unwilling to take any further action including a replacement or refund, upon which I walked out - hungry, $15 poorer, and with a promise to write this review to make sure anyone else considering eating there is forewarned. Also the bathroom was dirty and had a broken lock, and the fries that came with the sandwich were lukewarm and soggy. No idea who Keese is, but there was nothing delicious about my experience today. I think these guys just make their money with the late-night munchies Clematis street bar crowd. Maybe one day I'll be drunk enough to consider trying it again. Probably not. read more

We almost didn't come in because of the subpar rating on here, but it was the only place open after 1am with actual food. I'm glad we took a chance and ate here last night. We had the falafel, gyro, and chicken shawarma dinner plate. Is it pricey? A little, but we got full last night and still have about half for lunch today(yay!)-large portions. The falafel was so hot and fresh which already won me over, the chicken shawarma was not dry as hell like a lot of places, and the gyro was sliced thinly which I liked because it didn't seem greasy at all like it usually does. The pita bread was nice and hot, and it almost tasted homemade but I could be wrong. The side salad was really fresh and crunchy. The only reason I can't give a 5 is because we didn't get hummus :( they may have been out, but we weren't told. I think that's why we got the side salad in lieu of it, as it wasn't on the description on the menu. We also didn't get napkins, but she may have thought we were taking it to go. Pretty good food when you've been on Clematis for too long, indulged in one too many drinks, and have asked one too many restaurants if they're serving food and have been rejected each and every time because it's after hours. Keese's is a Mediterranean restaurant with some American cuisine thrown in for good measure. You can get basically any kind of Greek dish with the exception of meatballs here, which is a shame because Greek meatballs are the best. Anyway, I came here the other night and got a Greek salad with gyro meat. The salad itself was pretty good but the gyro meat was not plentiful. I was a little disappointed at how thinly it was sliced! But the feta cheese was abundant and the lettuce was fresh, so it still wasn't a bad option. My friend got the "best plate" which I'm not 100% certain of its contents, but it looked delicious and the tzatsiki sauce probably came from heaven above. The service was alright, a little slow but it wasn't unfriendly. The price was decent, not too expensive but not super cheap either. But, if you're drunk and it's late, you're probably not considering a price point as the night's primary concern. Seating isn't plentiful so be aware, but this is still a decent option for late night cuisine. read more

I was debating between 2 and 3 stars. Because the food is really okay.... but that is not enough in a fast food/restaurant. I would rather eat somewhere where I know it's 100% clean but food is not that good. First night I ate here was 4 am,after club. I know that at THAT time people would rather sleep,but if they chose tow work at Keese's then they accepted to work at that time. Restaurant itself it's dirty. It's employees don't use gloves. I asked the front girl to tell them to put gloves on and that's when I noticed what type of gloves they had.... that Laaarge plastic ones. Which I know 100% it's extremely uncomfortable to work with! I assume that is cheap so thats what owner buys! I will not support a business where the owner only cares about $$$ that goes in and not about what he offers to it's customers. I'd like to update the review as the "owner" of the business cant accept the truth. I was not drunk,and even if I were,I WILL NEVER ACCEPT somebody to make my food with no gloves. Came in today with a buddy to knock another one off our list to try and experience all of the food establishments downtown. I've walked past this place dozens of times but never had the opportunity to come in for lunch. The first thing you notice is it looks and feels divey - doesn't appear to be organized, well cleaned, and no air conditioning. Picked a picture of food off the wall-o-pictures largely because of the price. Added $1 in fries because even though the picture shows fries, it doesn't come with it. Still ends up spending $2-3 more than the listed price. Side note, the fries are worth the price. That being said, this isn't a $10-$12 place. The pita was small, the meat is over seasoned yet still lacks a flavor profile (not sure how that happened). There are places on the 300 block where you can get double the amount of food and it feels cleaner and healthier. I would always encourage you to go and try every place for yourself because every thing is worth trying once. read more

Ehhh. Hold the salt! I live 3 blocks away from this place and frequent Clematis Street. I thought one night let me drop in here and get a steak and cheese sandwich. Oh and by the way this was around 6:00 at night so I wasn't drunkenly walking into the place. When I got home it was so spicy salty I could hardly eat it! Since I live downtown and I walk all over the place day or night I see a lot of containers that are thrown on the ground and actually somebody's gotten sick. Usually it's right around this corner....I've seen it all. I have not had anything else so I can't give it more than 2 stars for that experience however if you do go there tell them to hold the spicy salt! Lol! read more
