Discovered this gem while searching Yelp for healthy lunch options nearby -- and what a find! I stopped in today and already know I'll be back soon! The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. I've eaten here several times and started coming here when they were first named "Chick-Pea" before they transformed into "Anzos". The quality has been consistent every visit. It's like a Chipotle style restaurant but for fresh Mediterranean food. I always get the create your own bowl with falafel and add a ton of veggies and quinoa. I also pair it with the coconut curry sauce and ginger carrot dressing. They have so many options and also have several juices and fresca style drinks to choose from. I've ordered and ate in several times but most recently ordered online to go and the quality was just as good. The atmosphere is clean and chill vibes. The staff is also all very nice and helpful. This little place had a line the entire time we were there. Food was fresh and portions are really nice size. Just be careful about ordering any of the Signature Dishes. If you add anything they add significant costs. Will definitely have to visit again while we're in the area. read more

I went in with very low expectations, and this place actually delivered. It's set up like a Mediterranean-style Chipotle, build your own or choose from preset options. I had the Mediterranean bowl and beef empanadas. Everything looked great, tasted fresh, and the flavors were on point. Only downside was the protein portion. I was looking for a great salad bowl place in Delray and hit the jackpot! I love that I can add any protein including tofu, and have warm and cold options for the base. What makes it all special is the Anzo sauce! The Anzo sauce is Garlicky goodness in a yogurt base, with some mystery seasons that make it lip smacking delicious! My second favorite sauce was the Amba, a mango curry sauce that's so tasty and sweet, you could just dip your pita in it like dessert! The team that makes it all happen are a group of wonderful young people that are cheerful and sweet, they answer all your questions with a smile! They make it a wonderful experience! Highly recommend this salad place. Note of advice: don't mix up too many flavors, plan out your bowl with a theme in mind cuz you could just end up with a Mish mosh and that wouldn't be good! I was not looking for an endless buffet here, however, the portion size went down so much that spending $16 plus that should be your satisfying meal, wasn't at this time. Ordered on line, husband picked the bowls and it wasn't enough to eat. I have eaten in person and ordered online previously from Anzo. Very healthy, fresh food. The ordering style is similar to Chipotle. You start your order with a base, and then you can add meats, spreads, veggies, toppings, and sauces. There was a lot of variety of choice. I really enjoyed my bowl with vegetable quinoa, roasted veggies, and chicken shwarma. The meat was tender, and I really liked the flavor, especially with the curry sauce. I also added humus and roasted red pepper spreads, and all of the flavors worked well together. I also liked that there were a lot of vegetable options. My meal felt very balanced, and it didn't make me feel heavy or bloated after. My go-to spot for a quick overnight oats bowl. One of the few places in Boynton where you can find a healthy, light breakfast. Such an easy meal to have after the gym. I'm not a "bowl" person. I don't like everything mushed together. But I do really like Mediterranean/middle eastern food and this fast food version was quite good. Add to that, I felt like I was also eating "healthy" -- and it was a winning combo. You know the routine -- for the bowls (they also had pita wraps or separate sides), you choose your base (2); your protein (1); veggie (1);sauces/spreads (3); plus unlimited toppings; and a dressing. My choices were: romaine lettuce twice (base); schwarma chicken (protein);chick peas (veggie); hummus and babbaghanoush (2)(spreads); red cabbage, carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers, and olive tapenade (toppings); I tried two dressings -- lemon tahini and cilantro harissa. It was perfect and very filling. I would order this exactly, again. My husband opted for two (beef) empanadas and a side of tabouli salad. The "empanadas"were really fried seasoned beef kibbe (it says kubba on the posted menu). Why they call them empanadas, I imagine is so folks can relate to them. But why not also rename their hummus or felafel or babaghanoush? Anyway. Minor quibble. He really liked them (you could get one or two in an order). The quinoa tabouli was refreshing. It looked mainly like a bowl of parsley to me and very little quinoa. But he was happy with his choices. This casual place itself is small so it was busy. They also do a lot of take out. We found parking right outside. And luckily a table inside. You order at the counter line choosing your options as you go and pay there as well. Drinks are self serve. Everything is in disposable (take out) containers. Prices are very reasonable. read more
