Not only do they use syrups, but they also use unique toppers and milk options!!!! One of my favorite drinks is the banana latte which uses banana milk and is topped with dried bananas. It is unreal and doesn't compare to any coffee I have had anywhere! I came here to try their cherry latte to add a little pink to my February and was a happy camper! Their drinks burst with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. I appreciate how well crafted they are!! This location isn't one I would visit if you're looking to sit and enjoy your coffee. It's on the smaller side and only has two very tiny tables out front, however , the coffee and snacks are just as delicious as the one on the Ave! The staff members are also incredibly friendly and made this an overall excellent experience. If you're looking for an excellent, unique coffee paired with a fresh bakery item run to The Seed!!!!!

In the store, they also have add ins such as energy or protein. This is a great choice for those who are trying to reach a healthy goal. I ordered a peanut butter protein smoothie after the gym and it was a fantastic choice! The staff is also extremely friendly. They are helpful, will give recommendations, and are quick to make your order. The store is clean, the menu is easy to navigate, and you can even grab a seat and sip with friends. The Seed is an adorable little coffee shop among the busy stretch of Atlantic Ave, closer to the…read moreeast end. This is the first location of The Seed that I've been to, so I'm not sure how other locations compare, but this one was pretty small in general with limited seating inside. Luckily my fiancé and I got there while it was empty, so we were able to choose two of the four bar seats along the wall across from the counter. I had a latte with almond milk and house-made lavender syrup, and we each had a classic croissant sandwich. Latte with house-made lavender syrup: I really enjoyed this. My fiancé described this as a "mix of coffee and tea", which I think was fitting. The lavender syrup sweetened the coffee with light floral notes and the latte was a great balance between herbal, floral, and creamy overall. Classic croissant sandwich: The egg patty was pretty thick, I'd say just under a 1/2" thick. It was packed with bacon and cheese, and the sandwich was toasted the way I liked. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and overall I enjoyed the sandwich. There wasn't anything unique about the sandwich though, it was just a solid breakfast croissant sandwich that was made well. No special sauces or other ingredients. I guess that's why it's the classic. The staff was nice and pleasant, and our food and drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time. I do think the food and drink were a bit overpriced for what it was (our bill was ~$40 for two sandwiches and two drinks), but they say the ingredients are all locally sourced so I'm assuming that's why. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd certainly choose this The Seed over a larger chain coffee shop. Just know that the dollars can add up quickly here!

I…read moreused to love coming here with my little one, but the service has gone straight down the drain! This is my third day in a row coming in, and each time it has been horrible. Today was the final straw when the cup my daughter got her smoothie in was damaged, the fact they still gave it to her, knowing the lid wouldn't sit right is one thing but giving me another cup with the same hand you were just pulling the garbage bag out of the trash can with is too far, oh and let's not forget he didn't even switch the cups, he just handed it to me, basically telling me "you can do it". I hope management sees this and takes action because that's a lawsuit waiting to happen! I bought my smoothies at 4:15 on 06/06/26.

At first I thought they had made my smoothie extra thick which I typically love. But, I was just having such trouble getting anything through the straw. Upon removing the lid I saw so many large chunks of ice inside. They didn't blend this smoothie well enough at all. A $20 blender from the grocery store could do a better job than that! Wow! Now what was good and a pleasant new surprise for me was the toast options they had. I enjoyed a bogo offer in app as a welcome back so I was able to try the avocado toast and the peanut butter toast. Both were delicious. The cashiers attitude when helping me definitely could have better. I hadn't realized at the time of ordering that I wasn't able to use both my welcome back offers simultaneously and she was a bit snarky about it. It's no problem to inform the customer, but losing the attitude makes for a much more pleasant experience for all involved. I will happily use my other offer tomorrow at a different location. Surely I won't return to this one. Between the employees attitude and the worst smoothie I've ever gotten from a Smoothie King I would not come to this location again. I struck out today. But, I still love Smoothie King.
