Smoothie point of view

Sometimes it's the small things that make all the difference! I have been coming here since they opened as it's next to a gym. Everyone is always pleasant, nice, and accommodating. Don't always come to this gym so I don't expect them to remember me by name or even my order. Today was the first time I have come in a couple weeks since traveling, and Aidan remembered my name right off the rip, it surprised me! That kind of attention to customer satisfaction is so rare and to see it from a young man at a smoothie spot is mind blowing! I was sure to commend him, gave him a decent tip, and knew I had to leave a review. I'm truly impressed by this small gesture of customer satisfaction especially in today's world.

My Açaí Bowl
Patrice R.

Stopped into SoBol Boynton Beach a few weeks ago after dropping off my mom at a nearby doctor's appointment. I wanted to have a little something to eat but wasn't ready to have lunch. As I drove around the parking lot, I saw SoBol and decided to give it a try. The ladies at the counter greeted me cordially as I walked to the counter. After perusing the menu for a few moments, I decided to order an Açaí Bowl. It was packed with gluten free granola, Açaí puree, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and coconut. I opted to leave off the honey. It was delicious and refreshing on a warm day. It was filling without being heavy. Everything tasted so fresh! The shop is small but there are a few tables to eat your treats inside if you like. There was a steady flow of customers when I was there on a Friday morning around 10:30. SoBol also offers smoothies, snacks, juices, and other healthy beverages.

Tiny piece of glass found at the bottom of the bowl with the granola.

Just recently discovered this place and their green bowls are amazing! Unfortunately when we got home yesterday to eat our bowl, we got towards the end of the bowl where most of the granola were, there was a piece that was hard to chew on and when I spit it out I realized it was a tiny piece of glass. Not sure how it got in there but really scary and happy that I didn't swallow it. Wish they were a little more careful :(

Açaí bowel with banana, strawberry, mango, kiwi, peanut butter, coconut and honey

Craving an açaí bowl, so I decided to come to here. I got a medium size bowl that was placed in a larger size. I added 2 scoops of peanut butter and mango into mine which were an extra cost. First walking in the location was clean and nice. I didn't get greeted when I walked in and brushed it off even though it bothered me. I placed my order and got the extra items in my bowl. This place is kinda pricey. My order came up to $16. I gave $20 bill which was mark to see if it were counterfeit, which was first for me. Never had someone check if a $20 dollar bill was fake. Maybe, because I've worked retail for 17 years and the girls looked young. I didn't really like that the açaí part was frozen. It was too cold for me to enjoy. I would rather an açaí bowl that is more liquidity instead of frozen. The fruit was fresh, but with my sensitive teeth, I did not enjoy it as much. Maybe leaving it out to melt a little would help me enjoy it more next time. I will try it again and do recommend due to it being fresh and healthy.

Not only do they use syrups, but they also use unique toppers and milk options!!!! One of my favorite drinks is the banana latte which uses banana milk and is topped with dried bananas. It is unreal and doesn't compare to any coffee I have had anywhere! I came here to try their cherry latte to add a little pink to my February and was a happy camper! Their drinks burst with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. I appreciate how well crafted they are!! This location isn't one I would visit if you're looking to sit and enjoy your coffee. It's on the smaller side and only has two very tiny tables out front, however , the coffee and snacks are just as delicious as the one on the Ave! The staff members are also incredibly friendly and made this an overall excellent experience. If you're looking for an excellent, unique coffee paired with a fresh bakery item run to The Seed!!!!!

This is the first location of The Seed that I've been to, so I'm not sure how other locations compare, but this one was pretty small in general with limited seating inside. Luckily my fiancé and I got there while it was empty, so we were able to choose two of the four bar seats along the wall across from the counter. I had a latte with almond milk and house-made lavender syrup, and we each had a classic croissant sandwich. Latte with house-made lavender syrup: I really enjoyed this. My fiancé described this as a "mix of coffee and tea", which I think was fitting. The lavender syrup sweetened the coffee with light floral notes and the latte was a great balance between herbal, floral, and creamy overall. Classic croissant sandwich: The egg patty was pretty thick, I'd say just under a 1/2" thick. It was packed with bacon and cheese, and the sandwich was toasted the way I liked. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and overall I enjoyed the sandwich. There wasn't anything unique about the sandwich though, it was just a solid breakfast croissant sandwich that was made well. No special sauces or other ingredients. I guess that's why it's the classic. The staff was nice and pleasant, and our food and drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time. I do think the food and drink were a bit overpriced for what it was (our bill was ~$40 for two sandwiches and two drinks), but they say the ingredients are all locally sourced so I'm assuming that's why. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd certainly choose this The Seed over a larger chain coffee shop. Just know that the dollars can add up quickly here!

I really enjoyed my experience walking into this Playa Bowls the decor is lovely and the service was a little slow but very kind. Nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the 'Bae Bowl' and I used my happy birthday $5 off coupon. I really enjoyed my bowl. I ate it all up and had a good time. Definitely recommend this location over the location at Dania Point in Dania Beach, FL. I'll have to go again and give it a throughout review. Hopefully they changed since.

There were easily 20 orders backed up, and the entire operation was being run by **one kid at the counter**, who couldn't have been older than 17. Eventually, he had to ask one of his friends, who didn't even work there to help him out. That alone should tell you everything. To be clear, I don't blame the employee at all. I blame MANAGEMENT. Throwing an undertrained, inexperienced worker into a full-on **lunch rush on New Year's Eve** with zero support is embarrassing and irresponsible. Management should be ashamed. And $25 for two smoothies? At that price, I expected the fruit to be hand-picked from a mountaintop orchard, blessed by monks, and blended fresh on the spot, not an hour-long wait caused by total mismanagement. Strongly recommend NOT going here unless you have unlimited time and patience.

The fruit is always exceptionally fresh, and their acai base is hands down the best I've had. Each bowl comes with granola and three fruits, and the ordering process is super easy. Even their website is easy to navigate for online ordering, which I take full advantage of for my weekly pick-up. (And it works with Apple Pay!) I bring bowls to my mom for our catch-up dates, and it's become such a special tradition. The shop itself has a farmhouse-style interior that's always clean and inviting. There's plenty of parking, and the location is perfect. It is right near the beach and the perfect stop for breakfast, lunch, or a post-beach snack. Be sure to try their hot coffee too. While I don't get their smoothies as often, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I also love how they get creative with fun holiday-themed bowls, like the special Valentine's Day, Christmas, or even Cinco de Mayo themed bowls. Sometimes they even feature unique ingredients like hot honey or Tajin. My go-to bowl is a create-your-own w/ almond butter, banana, strawberries, blueberries, goji berries, and cacao nibs on top!
