Good service, sometimes slow. Nice patio to sit for breakfast or lunch on a good weather day. Food took forever to come out. Food was fine, nothing outstanding but a good option for breakfast.

Such a terrific brunch experience. It is anything special based on appearance but the service & food was terrific. I would like to try their whole menu. So so good!

Check out the little trash cans on the table for your wrappers. Oh my, it's so cute.

Michael took care of us. Sam was in the kitchen and Mita was also there. They were so lovely. We had such a great experience. First time here, will definitely come back. Coffee was phenomenal. Food was delicious.

Decided to check this little spot out on an early Sunday morning. Limited seating, a few tables inside, 4 four tops and 1 eight top outside with umbrellas. There was a couple paying their bill so we waited 5 minutes for a table outside. Very low key place. Just a couple employees, but they do a good job of checking up on everyone. Menus on the table, so you don't have to wait on someone to bring them over. Mimosas were good, nice champagne to oj ratio. Cute location, easy parking. Salmon platter was good. The menu description said it came with feta, but it arrived sans feta. Just feels like the dish was very minimal. Not much salad, very few onions. Decent amount of fish though. Also ordered plate of eggs, sausage, French toast, and bacon with a side biscuit and gravy. I was told it was very filling. Service was friendly.

Proving that you don't need to have all the glitz and glamour or even a beach front or Ocean view to be one of the best breakfast spots in the area, EOC serves up delicious food with attentive, awesome service at reasonable prices. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall or dive. But that's also part of its charm, much like reading the morning paper while having brunch as the Trirail or some train passes by on the tracks adjacent to the parking lot. Could you find a fancier place? Absolutely. Would you get the same good old mom and pop type of food. No way. And I say this as one half of a relatively food-snobby gay couple. It was a definite gem of a find.

Very cute, low key breakfast/lunch spot in Boynton near the railroad tracks serving up no frills traditional menu items. It was a beautiful day to sit outdoors and we were lucky enough to find a covered table quickly. However we were slow to be served, which was ok as it took me a while to find something that caught my interest. I settled on the quiche of the day, a side of corned beef hash, and home fries. Hubs got the traditional breakfast with a coconut pancake. I usually do a good job of choosing my meal but not today. The quiche of the day was some mushroom, bacon, spinach combo but I didn't really taste anything but a sweet crust and grease. The corned beef hash (the canned variety) was good and went well with the home fries. My husband's meal on the other hand looked far more appetizing, and filling...and was. His coconut pancake was huge and very tasty. He cleaned his plate so the rest of it must have been good too. Prices are more affordable than other areas on the east side. I would give our experience an overall 3.5

I kick myself for not coming here sooner. I have walked and driven by this cafe many times and never have stopped in to see what the hype is all about. We got there after noon on a Sunday and they were busy. Luckily, the four of us only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table outside. The menu offers breakfast and lunch and I went for the monti cristo sandwich. Two pieces of French toast with ham, turkey, and swiss cheese packed in between and a side of jelly and French fries. Hallelujah for a fantastic lunch :) The spot is perfect for people watching and our lovely server kept a smile on our faces the whole time. They got customers in and out with their food and didn't rush anybody. What a great place to have some damn delicious food!

    A big basic breakfast!

This a very friendly little local place withh great food. The basic breakfast is so reasonable and the oakmeal is surprisingly very flavorful. The stuffed French toast is to die for with the blueberry glaze. Kelly is a great waitress and is always willing to ensure everything is great!

Corn beef hash & eggs !!! Rye toast !!!

Nice Lil breakfast spot ..... six tables inside & about eight tables outside .... One waitress so she's constantly running around; mind you it was a Wednesday.... The place inside is clean but definitely dated but very comfy & cozy ... The coffee is delicious and the food was super fresh; we had the eggs over easy with corn beef hash well down & the most delicious rye bread .... We shared a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes which were also super fluffy & delicious... The service is definitely a Lil slow about 35 to 40 minutes from the time we ordered till it hit our table ... the coffee kept coming so that was a good thing ... Our waitress constantly checked in on us as she flew by to make sure all was good ... So, as long as your not in a rush and have plenty of time this was a good breakfast experience.. We would definitely return again & refer family & friends ... Thanks, Greg D & family

Then you either cut through the building or walk around to the back (or front entrance). There are some tables outside and about 6 two-top tables inside. You order at the counter, and they will bring your food to you. In the counter displays you can see their various pastries and quiches. There's also a separate cooler for cold drinks. When we stopped by for lunch, they were fairly full inside -- which meant 4 of the tables were taken. It was a one-man band as the owner/chef was doing everything by himself. He was waiting on everyone and preparing the food, as well. Oh, and btw, he is from Paris. I started with an iced decaf coffee. The coffee was very good -- not bitter like the famous chain everyone goes to. I also ordered a sandwich of turkey with cranberry sauce and brie. It regularly comes also with ham, but I had him leave this off. They were out of baguettes so our choices of bread was a panini or a panini (!) -- so we got a panini. My husband ordered a tuna sandwich with veggies. I think the guy thought he'd ordered tuna with cheese, however. It took a bit to get our sandwiches as the chef was making crepes and other food for the rest of the customers. We were okay with this -- although hungry. Both sandwiches were served hot from the panini press. And both sandwiches were thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't get any dessert, but several items looked appealing. If you are looking for an authentic local cafe experience and are not in a rush, this place is for you.

I have never had the opportunity to try Turkish breakfast, so of course that is what I chose. I had a Turkish coffee - similar to a Cuban coffee cortadito in size but no milk and with an earthy taste. I was told to only sip it because there was a mud /sediment that settles at the bottom , which I found out very quickly the hard way. Ordered menemen for breakfast and really enjoyed it. It's just Turkish version of scrambled eggs but with tomatoes, more seasoning and wetter in consistency. The menemen came with a delicious home made rye bread. I also ordered a blueberry lemon muffin that was very dense , more like a cake texture and not very sweet. I think I could've passed on the muffin but I was hungry and my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My companions also enjoyed their breakfasts - lox bagel and grand luxe breakfasts. They ran out of Brazilian pan de queso, but the owner was gracious enough to accommodate our request to purchase an order of 8 pieces and they were made to order , hot and delicious! Prices are reasonable and owners were warm and welcoming. If you are not familiar with this area, it is a bit tricky to find the parking garage , but plus side- parking is free

We learned about the restaurant being named for her mom (No, it doesn't mean gold). The restaurant faces the south side of the street in a strip next to the smoke shop. Parking is in a lot a couple doors west. Look for the umbrella table outside. The street numbers jump from 500 to 426 in one storefront. Inside, it's charmingly decorated. The dates on the walls refer to different relatives birth years. We started with drinks. I got an iced decaf coffee. I had my choice of 3 milks. He had an iced chai latte. He said it didn't need any added sugar. Both were very good. For food, I ordered their burger. It was cooked to temp as requested. The patty topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was good. Alongside came crispy chips and a small bowl of their special (addictive) Le Dor sauce -- a mix of cheese and burger jus. My husband had their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The salad had nice chunks of chicken along with raisins, avocado, spicy mayo (just a touch of a kick), and lettuce. There were grapes and an orange, too, on the plate. He said it was wonderful. The menu is small, but prepared to look good as well as taste delicious. They offer special pasta nights. Call for info and reservations for these events. I'm not going to mention the servers name in fairness to her as we aren't sure if the issues were with her personally, or if the kitchen was off today. We were seated immediately when we arrived but it took quite some time to see our server and the place wasn't even half full at this time. Once we ordered our coffee and mimosas, it took nearly 15 minutes for them to arrive. The server apologized for the delay. I had ordered the eggs Benedict and my wife a cheese omelette. The server again apologized for the delay in the food arriving which also took forever. By the time it finally arrived, my eggs were basically hard boiled as they sat for so long and my wife's omelette had ham in it. She didn't order that. Then to close things off, I motioned to my server to bring me the check. She put up her finger asking for a moment. She never came back. We finally had to flag down another server to get our check. Needless to say this was a disappointing service for us. Now, all that said, I would give Keke's a 5-star rating normally as we've never been disappointed in the past. We will be back and hope that this was just an off day, staff called in sick or something along those lines, and pray their normal exceptional service is what it always has been.
