Cute place. Ran in after having lunch at our favorite Thai restaurant next door. We walked in and weren't greeted, we looked at the baked goods and then the staff came over and spoke to us about the menu. She was so dry as if not wanting to help us. It was very much a turn off. We almost walked out, but had to give it a shot so we got a chocolate chip cookie. It was good, nothing special, Nice and buttery. I would go back and maybe get a coffee and bakery item. Then just chill, seems like it's cute enough for that.

I've heard so many great reviews on this spot so had to give them a try on my birthday. They do take out and dine in. The lunch/dinner menu isn't available until 11 am so I definitely have to go back try that menu. However, I ordered breakfast and it was served to me at the table. The plantains were so sweet and yummy with a slight crisp to them and the eggs were seasoned beautifully! My matcha was made to perfection and not overly sweet just how I like it. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their menu items. There were so many delicious looking pastries available for purchase as well, I can't wait to go back to try a few. I love the Haitian and Dominican fusion to the menu items. I'm Haitian myself and this brought joy to heart and hearing kompa music that I'm familiar with play on the speakers was the perfect touch! Koco Cafe is doing it right and can't wait to go back!

I walked in to return a hibiscus tea and I was quickly taken care as the fine lady replaced it with a blueberry lemonade. The Kompa music inside made the room feel lively. If you like Haitian food, you're gonna love the options here. If you want flavor in your breakfast and options you never thought of, come to this small cafe. I bet when they get real busy, it's hard to even walk inside. The team does a great job handling the line.

I came here this morning for a quick little breakfast and we were kindly greeted upon walking in and parking was fairly easy! There was lots of indoor options and we chose to get the croissant breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito and both came out excellent! I enjoyed the sauce that came with the sandwich and the chipotle sauce with the burrito was the perfect touch. Workers and service was great and we felt treated nicely by everyone. Next time we will definitely try a coffee and a pastry since all of them looked super delicious and they are made fresh everyday. Boynton was for sure missing a quality bakery and cafe and Koco was the perfect answer!

Ordered the biscuit sandwich and wow. Very good service and the ambiance is island style...The coffee put a little hair on my chest but I will survive. Definitely returning for more.

I am so happy we decided to stop here this morning. I truly enjoyed the hospitality and ambiance, now the food and coffee were amazing love the mix of cultures brought to each dish. I am from DR and can speak first hand, so if you are in the area stop by and find out why everyone is enjoying themselves.

What a delightful, gem of a spot! I'm so glad to have heard of this brand new cafe filled with Dominican style dishes. To start, I had the "Chimi Sandwich" which is their take on a smash burger with sautéed cabbage, tomato, pickled red onion and pink sauce. The combination was extremely flavorful! We also had their French toast breakfast bowl that came with bacon and scrambled eggs. Another flavor explosion that beyond satisfying. Highly recommend the Dulce De Leche Frappuccino and the maple salted latte. For dessert we had the biscoff blondie and the guava/cheese croissant. The perfect sweet treats to top off our dining experience. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. Our meals were freshly made and took less than ten minutes. The portion to price ratio is on point as well with each entree costing $14, and the pastries $5.50 each. Fantastic addition to this plaza and I can't wait to taste more items on their menu!

I got the Le Corey and KC breakfast burrito while my friend got the KoCo's Biswich.

Tried this spot on Sunday with some friends and everything was wonderful! The food was delicious, coffee was so good I ordered another to go, and the service was just wonderful. The vibe and atmosphere of the whole place was just warm and welcoming. For reference I ordered an Iced Le Corey latte and the breakfast burrito with chipotle ranch while my friend order an Iced Le Dulce latte and the Biswich. We also ordered the yum yum tots to share which were amazinggggggg. The women in front were absolutely sweethearts and even learned our names after a few conversations. I've already told a bunch of my cousins about this spot and will def be coming back!!

The cafe has a cute vibe, with island music playing softly. They have a nice selection of bakery items, pastries, and breakfast items. The coffee was okay and they don't warm up the pastries for you when you order them, which is a letdown, however the rest of the experience was very nice.

Iced maple matcha

I ordered their iced maple matcha and thought it was SO tasty! I like my matcha pretty green and on the sweeter side, and this was exactly what I like. I even went back a second time and ordered it with an extra scoop of matcha (+$4 though which would keep me from ordering it like that again), but it gave it a really nice, stronger flavor. As someone who usually treks out pretty far (~30+ minutes) for a good matcha, it's nice being able to get a good matcha within 15 minutes of my home!

My latte had a strange flavor that you need to adapt to. The prices of coffee are higher than Starbucks. Place wasn't appealing to me!!!

We were sat right away and our waitress took our drink order before we even had a chance to sit. For breakfast, I ordered an iced latte and avocado toast. The latte was smooth and the avocado toast was delicious. I recommend going to lulus when it's not super hot. Most of the dining room is outdoors, and while covered, it can get a little hot.

I ordered the teriyaki bowl with chicken and it had no teriyaki flavor or sauce anywhere. The chicken was probably slightly marinated but I wish it tasted more like teriyaki. The grilled salmon was tasty but the poached egg that came with the Brussels sprout Cesar was full of water and undercooked so I literally didn't even eat it. The strawberry lemonade was 80% water, stick with the hangover cure. The hangover cure was very refreshing. The servers split the tips so they were all pretty helpful and attentive. Probably a good spot for cocktails but I went with my grandma so virgin drinks were the way to go. All in all I'd be back for a cocktail and the fries. The food is also pretty pricey. $11 French fries, $9 for a non-alcoholic beverage. Also when I went, the menu was limited. They weren't serving any of the 'Shareables'. I went at 3pm on a Sunday so you'd think this is prime time to have a full menu available. Service 9/10 Food 6/10 Location & ambiance 8/10 Would I go back? Yes. Vibes would bring me back and I wanna try the cocktails next time (:

The vegetables sandwich that I ordered had so much oil but fortunately the bread soaked up some of it, so I just discarded the bread. My wife's salad with fish was very good. Also, the fruit served with my sandwich? Just perfectly ripe and enjoyable. One of the things that cracked me up here, being a laid back Texas boy, was over hearing all the incessant, noisy, nasal New York Jewish ladies whining, commiserating and ruminating with each other at the other tables. That was entertaining. I had thought about asking about the homemade desserts but the staff was slammed I guess cause no one came around to check on how things were going and if we needed anything else. Just as well. Counting calories. My tipping default would normally be 20% but today... not sure what I will leave lol.

They have a really nice outdoor seating area, complete with heaters when needed. We chose to dine inside. The vibe inside the restaurant was kind of a boho rustic feel, and I really liked it. Soft lighting and music really set the tone. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gustavo, and given our menus. We don't drink, but they had a nice selection of drinks, cocktails and spirits. We decided to start with the sweet and sour cauliflower. It was absolutely delicious! Cauliflower battered and fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce. For our entree we shared the 44oz Creekstone ribeye. It was served with charred broccolini and and a fried airy potato side dish that was out of this world! The steak came sliced and off the bone, so it was perfect for sharing. It was served with 3 toppings; a horseradish sauce, a balsamic glaze, and delicious mixture of sliced peppers. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. We did not have dessert there, as we had a birthday cake at home. And I feel remiss that I didn't even look to see what they had. Overall, it was the perfect place to have a romantic, celebratory dinner! Thanks Driftwood. *Just a Note ~ I found it odd they added a 20% tip on a 2 top table, and I was glad I noticed it on the bill before we double tipped.

We came here for dinner last night and we were seated with a direct ocean view. This is one of the few places that is literally on the beach that you can have dinner. It was around 7 PM so there was shade and cool evening ocean breezes We ordered the whole snapper which was a whopping 2 1/2 pounds and the grouper. The snapper was obviously meant for two people because of the amount of rice and vegetables they included with the snapper. It was excellent. The grouper came in some type of coconut sauce, which was amazing. We were dipping our snapper in the sauce for the grouper. If I was to make any type of recommendation, I would recommend adding a side of this sauce to the snapper and that would just make it a perfect dish I had a watermelon Mojito. The drinks here are ridiculously expensive at $17 a cocktail. And it's not like they come in a huge glass. They come in a regular wine glass. They do say that all the ingredients are natural and nothing is artificial, so maybe it's worth it to pay that much to not have a bunch of junk in your drinks. The service was slow. Although friendly. When we arrived, there was not that many people eating so I was surprised when after 30 minutes we still had not gotten the cocktails. Our waiter said it was because there was only one bartender and he was 15 minutes behind on his orders. I find this pretty amazing that a restaurant like Benny's cannot hire more than one bartender so that the people who come and pay what is not really a moderate amount but pretty expensive for their entrées, but still have to wait 20 minutes to get their drinks. It was only for this that I took off a star. When I order a cocktail, I like it brought out within five minutes and not to drink during my dinner. Dinner was also very slow and we got our entrées about 45 minutes after our order. But all in all, it was an amazing experience and we will be back.

Topped with pineapple, relish and goat cheese, my taste buds were loving it! A must try drink is the watermelon martini. Made with Tito's vodka and garnished with a juicy slice of watermelon. After dinner we watched the sunset on the pier. Benny's change $1 per person to access their pier but it's so worth it. The pier seemed to be a popular spot for fishing as there were a lot of families casting lines into the ocean. It was a beautiful evening at Benny's.
