Great local spot facing Two George's and Banana Boat, tucked away in a small plaza that I would've never known existed had someone not referred me here. The food and drinks are definitely on the pricy side- 2 breakfast sandwiches and smoothies somehow came out to $49? Must be the location that drives up the prices. However, I will say the breakfast sandwiches were pretty big with some quality bacon on a brioche bun. Smoothies were also good. The food, though very pricey, was quite fresh, and I loved the baguette that it was served on. The meats are all boars head, but for the price, I do wish the sandwich had more than a few very thin slices/shaved pieces of turkey. We met a group of fellow Yelpers for brunch here on a beautiful Sunday morning. A special thanks to Raymond K. for organizing this unofficial event. The restaurant is small with some indoor seating including sofas. It's a laid back comfortable vibe. This is not a fast food location. It's a place to sit and leisurely dine in a homey venue. As the group was a party of 9, we chose to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the breezes during a clear sunny day. We also got to see some of the marina boats. The menu had both breakfast and lunch options with a few specials on a chalkboard. Our group ordered a bit of both options. Our table had a couple BLT's -- one on whole grain and one on sourdough; a grilled cheese sandwich (with 3 cheeses); my bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel; and my husband's eggs over easy with bacon and toast. Some of the crowd also enjoyed mimosas. There were only empty plates left over, so I assume everyone else liked their food as much as I did! After ordering, two of the gentlemen discovered that tomato soup was one of the daily specials and added that to their original order. Bowls of house made soup with basil leaves and chunky tomato bits were thoroughly enjoyed. My little taste of one made me wish I'd had more room to indulge. Marina Cafe I had read about through my Yelping, but without the chance to take a gander until recently. The cafe is really a cute, little spot in the middle of Boynton Beach Marina, right across the way from Two Georges and Banana Boat. Given the condominium towers the cafe is located within, they are much needed for residents and marina visitors who don't want to spend time looking for a Starbucks. Having settled at the bar counter, I enjoyed an iced coffee with a nice view of the marina to my left. Most of the cafe consists of either lounge seating with lovesofas and leather, patterned arm chairs, as well as stylish table seating and a window counter where you have a prime view of outside. And when it's blue skies and sunny -- which is often, it's gorgeous to watch the incoming and outgoing boats. What helps the cafe a lot if you're not sure about where to park is realizing that one of the parking garages at Boynton Beach Marina has spaces for public use. This was something I didn't think the garages allowed, which would have made parking limited to the street if you were lucky to find a spot that wasn't for marina-use only. But alas, there's plenty of parking in the inside garage, so you can definitely make use of it if you want to check out the Marina Cafe as well as any of the other shops and establishments. Based on the menu, it looks like a good spot for breakfast and lunch, with a variety of different sandwich options, as well as salads, smoothies, and acai bowls. The Hangry Vanessa is a huge burger patty topped with an egg and avocado--yes, it is amazing and is yet another winner. Atmosphere: Scott the owner named the sandwiches after people in his life and around the cafe, making each one as special as the people they're an ode to. The walls are adorned with ocean life and cultural memorabilia, and cafe-bound seats are aplenty and spaced out for social distancing. There's even an outdoor, covered seating area in front, overlooking the boats of the Boynton marina, ensuring the cafe lives up to its name. Tips: I'd recommend taking a pastry or two to go with sandwiches; the blueberry scones are made in-house and heat up pretty nicely in the oven for a tasty snack later. Very chill laid back spot by the marina on the first floor of the condominium buildings there. The food is great, but don't expect to get it fast. Again, very chill, laid back vibe, better for coming to socialize or work without being interrupted by the staff much. They have cozy lounge seating inside mixed with regular round tables and some bar seating. Met there with a group of about 9 of us and sat outside in the shade to enjoy the breesy weather. There was a lady out there with a massage chair who did have a few people enjoying her services. Also heard that they have live music and a good happy hour 3-7 friday and saturday nights. I had the most relaxing time for breakfast. I felt like I entered someone's living room. I sat at the counter the young man behind the counter was cook, server, and bottle washer was extremely pleasant. Everyone that entered said good morning. We had breakfast here a few weeks ago, we were very pleasantly surprised. It's small, basically a large room with a counter and a few tables, but also couches and a very friendly atmosphere. The owner, Scott, was present and obviously is very "hands on" in running it. The entire menu is written in chalk on a giant blackboard behind the counter. Scott, who is from New England, is very personable and we spent most of the time speaking with him. He was trying to recreate the style of small restaurants you find on the coast in that part of the world. But you probably want to know about the food: it was very good, and reasonably priced. Deb had a basic breakfast, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon coffee. I had an omelette and toast, and coffee (the coffee was truly excellent, very much a notch above the typical breakfast place). Everything was very fresh, extremely tasty. The only negative was that Deb's breakfast came out about 10 minutes before mine- I think he was breaking in a new cook who was in the learning stages. Nonetheless, the food was great, and not expensive. But I'm not going to quibble- the overall experience was excellent and we enjoyed talking with the owner. We will be back, and I recommend the Marina Cafe. One note: in season, the parking garage charges $5.00 to park (why does EVERYTHING have to be a "revenue stream?"). But if you tell the attendant that you're going to the cafe, they won't charge you. The owner told us this and we got our money back on the way out, but it's not marked anywhere- you just have to know. read more

I was invited for brunch here on the most perfect morning of the year. For this kind of weather you should only sit outside and thankfully they do have a nice seating area out front. The staff is small so be patient. I believe we were a group of 8 so those girls had their hands full. The restaurant is located in a tiny shopping area that's also attached to a condominium. They do you have garage parking so mention that you're there to eat at a restaurant and they won't charge you. All the food is so fresh and a lot of it's imported from different states because the owner is so concerned on getting what the customers really wants and not what's convenient for him. They do have bagels from New York City so of course I did get a bagel breakfast sandwich. I normally don't order bagels because it's just too overfilling and the carbs just kill me. I have to say this was an excellent sandwich, it had a bit more than a typical breakfast bagel sandwich that you normally find elsewhere. Besides the excellent food and stuff you are close to the water. Take a walk and enjoy the Florida weather. I would definitely make the drive to go back. read more

Stopped by for a quick cappuccino before grabbing lunch at Banana Boat. I'm a mom of two babies under two so this was my one time ever getting out of the house alone for a few hours. The woman at the counter with short brown hair was extremely rude. Couldn't put her phone down for a second and look up at my face. I'm a bartender and can't imagine being so unfriendly at work or in my normal life no matter how stressed or tired I am.
