Bacon Egg and Cheese on Brioche Breakfast sandwich
Jasmine D.

Great local spot facing Two George's and Banana Boat, tucked away in a small plaza that I would've never known existed had someone not referred me here. The food and drinks are definitely on the pricy side- 2 breakfast sandwiches and smoothies somehow came out to $49? Must be the location that drives up the prices. However, I will say the breakfast sandwiches were pretty big with some quality bacon on a brioche bun. Smoothies were also good. I'd come back to try the other items, just be ready to drop some coin.

This place is changing the game on breakfast sandwiches. I cannot get off my soapbox about how good they are. Their coffee is also A++. A true hidden gem of Boynton Beach. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. Can't wait to go back and try their lunch!

Good food served in a casual atmosphere is what to expect when getting breakfast or lunch here. The service was pretty quick. The food, though very pricey, was quite fresh, and I loved the baguette that it was served on. The meats are all boars head, but for the price, I do wish the sandwich had more than a few very thin slices/shaved pieces of turkey. The sandwiches are all A la carte, so if you want to order a bag of chips or a fresh baked cookie, they have a good variety to choose from. Parking is free in the garage if you inform the garage attendant upon entering.

Even thought i'm here all the time. Every time i walk in Marina Cafe it's refreshing! All time favorite Cafe in all of South Florida. What a creative menu! Their coffee always hits the spot. Team always has a beautiful smile! I love Cory, Nicole, Ashley and Erika!!! Water-view windows! I won't keep spoiling for anyone this Cafe! A must go when in South Florida!!!

Have been here a few times for lunch and it has never disappointed. Great comforting spot to pick up a very tasty lunch (in my cases it has been a wholesome sandwich). The "Alex" made with fresh bread, curated meats and cheese. Inside, spots for just lounging, working, eating or group setting. The attention and customer service just makes you feel welcomed and having a good meal to go along with it. My fav lunch spot whenever I'm in the area.

We met a group of fellow Yelpers for brunch here on a beautiful Sunday morning. A special thanks to Raymond K. for organizing this unofficial event. The restaurant is small with some indoor seating including sofas. It's a laid back comfortable vibe. This is not a fast food location. It's a place to sit and leisurely dine in a homey venue. As the group was a party of 9, we chose to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the breezes during a clear sunny day. We also got to see some of the marina boats. The menu had both breakfast and lunch options with a few specials on a chalkboard. Our group ordered a bit of both options. Our table had a couple BLT's -- one on whole grain and one on sourdough; a grilled cheese sandwich (with 3 cheeses); my bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel; and my husband's eggs over easy with bacon and toast. Some of the crowd also enjoyed mimosas. There were only empty plates left over, so I assume everyone else liked their food as much as I did! After ordering, two of the gentlemen discovered that tomato soup was one of the daily specials and added that to their original order. Bowls of house made soup with basil leaves and chunky tomato bits were thoroughly enjoyed. My little taste of one made me wish I'd had more room to indulge. It's the kind of place to relax, eat, and catch your breath. To play tourist. To have a good, lively, conversation with friends and friends to be... to while away a Sunday morning in glorious South Florida. Koi

Marina Cafe I had read about through my Yelping, but without the chance to take a gander until recently. The cafe is really a cute, little spot in the middle of Boynton Beach Marina, right across the way from Two Georges and Banana Boat. Given the condominium towers the cafe is located within, they are much needed for residents and marina visitors who don't want to spend time looking for a Starbucks. Having settled at the bar counter, I enjoyed an iced coffee with a nice view of the marina to my left. Most of the cafe consists of either lounge seating with lovesofas and leather, patterned arm chairs, as well as stylish table seating and a window counter where you have a prime view of outside. And when it's blue skies and sunny -- which is often, it's gorgeous to watch the incoming and outgoing boats. What helps the cafe a lot if you're not sure about where to park is realizing that one of the parking garages at Boynton Beach Marina has spaces for public use. This was something I didn't think the garages allowed, which would have made parking limited to the street if you were lucky to find a spot that wasn't for marina-use only. But alas, there's plenty of parking in the inside garage, so you can definitely make use of it if you want to check out the Marina Cafe as well as any of the other shops and establishments. Based on the menu, it looks like a good spot for breakfast and lunch, with a variety of different sandwich options, as well as salads, smoothies, and acai bowls. A good spot to hang out with some friends over coffee or on your own to do some work, read a book, relax, and contemplate existence.

Grand Marina Splash

Really friendly service from the moment you walk in the door. Owner is very helpful with the menu and suggestions. Cozy atmosphere to dine in our outside looking at the marina. Food is made fresh and requires some time to make it but so worth it! I had the meatball sub and my boyfriend got the roast beef sub. Both were delicious. The Grand Marina Splash made with iced tea and Natalie's OJ and Grapefruit was tart and refreshing. We will be back soon.

Found this cafe from a neighbor who works in the area. Situated in the same plaza as 2Georges and Banana Boat.Very chill atmosphere.Fast food this is not.The owner is very friendly, and very passionate about his cafe.High quality food and without the high quality prices.Egg sandwich and a delicious cappuccino for about a 10spot.The breakfast menu has acai bowls, egg sandwiches, omelettes, bagels, and a great selection of different coffees, made with a state of the art coffee machine. Also serves great lunch items.Tuna melt, and the BLT are both delicious. You should definitely try the tomato bisque soup.Great place to relax, sit down inside and out and enjoy quality and delicious food.On Fridays and Saturdays, they are open till 7pm.Live music is played on those nights.Wine and beer are also available ,and $5 mimosas on the weekends.

Decent breakfast sandwich but you'll wait 30 mins for one no matter how busy they are. Staff is not friendly.

Great food, great service, and in a chill waterside location. Caught fish and they cooked them up at a reasonable $11/person with two sides.

Don't sleep on Boynton Beach - cocktail bar vibe, hiding in plain site in a strip mall... this gem is chef inspired and simply amazing. We tried the wood fired asparagus served on toast with a gooey egg and then the pork belly grilled baby bok choy and both had me in the happy chair dance. Although steak definitely makes sense with a wood fire concept, instead we tried the lamb rack served with a mint sauce combo that has you cleaning the plate and local pompano served curry lite with wild mushroom (delish)! If you are a foodie make your way here. This was a spot where one (or is it just me) considers maybe we order everything to try? And we left the fun for another time. I have my eye on their spiced lamb bolognese and another amazing cocktail. The cocktails are mostly milk fat clarified which adds yet another fun twist to a new fav spot! It's like sitting next to a warming fire. This time we tried the grilled asparagus, the grilled baby bok choy with pork belly and gorgonzola (our favorite), the luncheonette burger with crispy fries, the double cut pork chop with grilled cabbage and pickled mustard seed, and the waygu lamb (I know, a lot of food!). Everything was fantastic but the burger initially came out a bit undercooked (we ordered it medium) so they cooked it a bit more and quickly brought it back. I thought the lamb wagyu was a bit light on the meat, the pork chop was amble and laid out nicely on the plate. We also tried the watermelon tequila drink (very refreshing and not too sweet), an old fashioned, and they have a good list of wines. We love the big cube in cocktails. I don't know how they got them to be so clear. The bar tender was great and the cooks were working very hard. The owner always comes by to say hello and chat. Second Rodeo varies the menu.

It couldn't have been a better time at Banana Boat today…read more I had heard of this place through the grapevine. When I circled back looking at it yesterday morn we decided to pop up and check it out. It's a valet only place, free with tip. After a quick exchange with a nice guy taking the keys we walked into the welcoming entry. We saw the nice bar but I thought I saw a picture of a outside bar online. The hostess confirmed it, and pointed us to the outside spot. We lucked out with a couple spots right on the water. It was a warm day but the spots at the bar were covered thank goodness. We got lunch, which was pretty good. My gals fish and chips felt a little undercooked to me. But my Seafood au gratin was exquisite. We both agreed it was top notch. The drinks were darn good, with the standout being the Key Lime pie martini. It was a little pricey, but it felt darn near worth it with the good vibes we had. We will be ack son I think, to see if we can have an even better time.

We decided to start with the sweet and sour cauliflower. It was absolutely delicious! Cauliflower battered and fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce. For our entree we shared the 44oz Creekstone ribeye. It was served with charred broccolini and and a fried airy potato side dish that was out of this world! The steak came sliced and off the bone, so it was perfect for sharing. It was served with 3 toppings; a horseradish sauce, a balsamic glaze, and delicious mixture of sliced peppers. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. We did not have dessert there, as we had a birthday cake at home. And I feel remiss that I didn't even look to see what they had. Overall, it was the perfect place to have a romantic, celebratory dinner! Thanks Driftwood. *Just a Note ~ I found it odd they added a 20% tip on a 2 top table, and I was glad I noticed it on the bill before we double tipped.

The roaring fire added ambience; it doesn't happen often in south Florida but on this "frigid" night the fire was really needed. We started at the bar with a few drinks including the Dr. No, and then moved to our table, we didn't feel rushed at all, it was Saturday night, 8:30 pm and the restaurant was quite full. I always get the wedge salad and I especially like NM's version with avocado and a thick, creamy blue cheese dressing (but not overpowering everything else). Also, their empanadas are renown and we love their chimichurri sauce. I highly recommend them. We also tried the daily pasta which was good. For mains, we really went for it with the 16 oz Ribeye, quite a large serving that we didn't finish and took home with us (see picture). The steak was pretty straight up - just a well-cooked delicious piece of meat. I had heard people rave about the veal chop so I decided to try it and was happy I did; also a rather large piece of meat (bone-in) with melted cheese and a light sauce - probably one of the best veal chops I've had (which we also took home with us). Nicholson Muir does great sides - we got the creamed spinach which was not overly creamy and the truffle fries, thin-style with a nice crunch. For dessert, the bread pudding (with a birthday candle) was very good - the ice cream portion was gone in split seconds.
