I was putting this place off for a while because I wasn't really sure if I would enjoy it; however, when I finally went, it did not disappoint. I was instantly greeted by a young man, I assume to be a food runner, who was super kind and provided good insight. I also noticed that the restaurant was VERY clean. I ordered the falafel despite never having falafel in my life, and it was delicious.

Went for falafel with my BFF, my first time, she was there before, it did not disappoint. Falafel was fresh, stuffed in pita with Hummus & Israeli salad $14.00. Service was prompt. Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.

After reading some mixed reviews, I was not sure what to expect. The food here turned out to be wonderful! This Boynton restaurant is kosher and is closed on Friday afternoons and on Saturdays. So plan accordingly. It's not a fancy place more like a diner or luncheonette. If you're eating in, just choose a table and take a seat. The menu is on the wall as well as on a printed menu. Each table has a number on it. We were greeted very soon after we were seated. The waiter took our drink order after giving us our menus. I knew I was in the mood for felafel so it didn't take me long to figure out what I wanted. We decided to share a felafel platter. The felafel ("deep fried chickpea balls with herbs and spices") were some of the best I've had. The platter was served with two sides of our choice. I chose the Israeli salad and their rice and beans. You also get a choice of three different "salads". They usually choose these for you -- it's a long list (see the salad bar offerings), but there a few of the items that are not my favorites. So, I told our waiter what we wanted. I chose the original babaganoush, beets, and hummus. They were making a new batch of hummus so we did have to wait for that one. Two fluffy pieces of pita also comes with all platters. The platter was big enough for us to share. And we liked all the sides and salads -- especially the creamy hummus. The place was pretty busy when we stopped by for lunch. It's a "meat" restaurant so they have lots of non- vegetarian offerings like shawarma, grilled chicken, beef kebabs, and even hamburgers. And a lot of other middle eastern favorites like grape leaves, morrocan merguez, shakshuka, and baklava. Prices are a bit higher here as it's kosher. Kosher meats are expensive. But portions are made for sharing. And we look forward to coming back for more of their offerings.

We were able to squeeze in and find a table just before the lunch crowd arrived. They have a menu board as well as table menus delivered by a server. We ordered a Falafel Plate which had six of the best falafel balls I have ever enjoyed and was accompanied with two sides, (we chose Beans and rice and Israeli salad), and three servings of Bissli salads of ( hummus- babaghanous- red beets) with warm pita bread. Within a reasonable amount of time, our plate and sides arrived and the portion size was generous enough to share between us. A family of ten sat at tables near us and the seven children were served pretty quick and were occupied enjoying their meal. Tables are also available in a backroom as well as tables outside. Every component of our meal was very flavorful, served hot and very delicious enough to put Bissli grill on our MUST RETURN list!

A group of 7 of us stopped by Ripe for lunch. The cashier and prep cook at this quick-serve restaurant didn't miss a beat as they provided prompt, efficient service, even when we requested some tweaks to the items we ordered. The menu features both lunch and breakfast choices, with a focus on healthy fare, especially salads and bowls. They also include a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and quesadillas. A couple of people ordered the tuna poke bowl and were satisfied with their meal. A few others ordered the Greek salad, which included feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes along with the greens. The salad was tasty and a nice size portion. And the dressing was delicious. I had the Tulum Lifter rice bowl with chicken. It was very good and quite satisfying. The only disappointment was the avocado toast with poached eggs. The person expected the eggs to be runny so the yolk could mix with the toast, but they were fully cooked. The Ripe server quickly replaced the entree and apologized for the miscommunication. Overall, we had a nice lunch and plan to stop by again soon.

This was my first visit and my first time trying them, and I was impressed by how many options they offer. The customization is extensive without feeling overwhelming, and everything looked fresh and well maintained. I went with the falafel bowl, built over rice and lettuce, and one standout detail was that they offered three different rice options. I chose the lentil rice, which had excellent flavor and added a nice depth to the bowl. All of the toppings, condiments, and add-ons tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The falafel itself was satisfying, and the overall meal felt balanced--filling without being heavy. It gave that ideal healthy, energized feeling rather than leaving me sluggish afterward. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was very clean, which always matters in a fast-casual setting, and the service stood out. The staff was welcoming, and the manager came by our table several times to check in and make sure everything was going well, which added a personal touch that you don't always get in this style of restaurant. Overall, a very solid first experience. Fresh food, strong service, clean environment, and plenty of options. I'd definitely return and would recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for Mediterranean done in a casual, customizable format.

There is ample parking and seating, though I can imagine this place gets quite busy with the workday lunch crowd. The restaurant was very clean, inviting and casual. Staff greeted us when we entered and helped explain how their menu. It is very similar to the other "fill a bowl" concept, casual restaurants, but in this case Mediterranean delights await you. There are several different types of proteins, and as a pesco-vegetarian, I was pleased to see tofu as an option. There's falafel too! (The tofu was well seasoned and not bland little cubes of food.) You can do a bed of greens, pita, hummus, or rice as your base. I went with the rice which was deliciously seasoned, though (spoiler alert!) next time I might go with hummus. There are many fresh herbs options for toppings, including spices and sauces. All the vegetables were crispy, and the portions were generous. The price point is fair and what you would expect to see at similar restaurants. I wish Olive U were closer to my home, because it's a great fresh option if you're looking for a quick take-home meal as well. I did see that they offer family-style dinners where you get a large portion and everybody eats the same thing. I think that is a great idea and not something I've seen at the other bowl - style restaurants. As I've already spoiled above (hee her , I definitely plan a return visit one day. Or they could just build locations in Broward! Hint hint.
