In the past I have enjoyed this restaurant. They offer a large selection a fresh homemade soups and it's actually a cute little restaurant. Today I'm extremely disappointed. I ordered a quart of their beef stew that cost $16 and there is no beef in my beef stew. Well that's not exactly true. There were two and I counted them two little tiny pieces of beef in a quart size container of beef stew I just ended up throwing the whole thing away because I'm not gonna just eat a bowl of carrots and potatoes. Actually reflecting back and looking at the bowl I don't even see any carrots and I had to add a can of peas into the soup to give it some kind of body. Very disappointing. read more

We're in Florida and it's practically 90 degrees out today but Dad insists that we're having soup for lunch. I can't say I was convinced. He said, "I'm buying." Okay, I'm game for that. Also, he's 90 so I'm respecting my elders. It's a very small shop in a corner of this shopping center with only three or four tables inside and two or three tables outside. But you'll get stared down by the great Larry Thomas as you peruse the selection and place your order. Yes, of course there's an autographed photo of him as The Soup Nazi on the wall. "No soup for you!" except there was absolutely soup for us. Dad loves the beef soup here which is practically a stew, loaded with huge chunks of beef and potato and carrots. I had a taste. Delicious. But I'm on keto and while I skipped the piece (really big piece) of fresh bread with my soup, the Spicy Turkey Chili was fabulous. No beans. Spicy and flavorful and I'll spare you a picture of the empty bowl. Fantastic. Yes, there's great soup to be had here and they'll pack it to go if you wish. My friend suggested it as a central meeting spot for us, and I was delighted ! I had never, been to a soup "kitchen"! It was quaint, cozy, and tucked away in the plaza. There selection of soups blew me away, and the BEST part is you are able to sample them. The menu also includes sandwiches! As for the service, it was impeccable!!! The line grew as I sampled and ordered but it did not deter :) The staff is warm, welcoming, friendly, and overall excited to be of service. They know the regulars and truly enjoy what they do. I had been going to souparee for about 3 years. It's located right around the corner from Chris taverna which at times the wait is just too long even though worth it. Yesterday it was chilly and I thought how nice some hot soup would be. I ordered it through DoorDash and it was SO SALTY IT was inedible. I called the restaurant and the mgr/owner told me you need to try before you buy. I cannot walk I can't physically go anywhere. When I suggested replacing it her answer, how you going to taste it? I would have my daughter pick it up. Considering we spend @$10 a pint of soup and sandwiches 14.00 .Probably $300. This place desperately needs a deep clean. The air vents above the food prep station are filthy and I witnessed the lady with the bright red hair open the door with gloves on and then go right back to prepping more food without changing her gloves. We were looking for something a bit different and I found this in my collection of bookmarks for the area. It's tucked away in a corner of the shopping center near Chris' Taverna on one side and a donut shop on the other, so as far as food goes it gets a bit overlooked. Parking can be challenging in the shopping center as there are quite a few other restaurants and shops nearby. We'd read that you can taste a couple of the soups before committing to just one, and I'm glad I did. One of the ladies in line raved about the she-crab soup, so I tried it, but it wasn't a favorite of mine. The soups for that day are listed on a board on the wall. It wasn't that easy deciding which one to choose. We opted to dine inside. They do have a few tables outside, as well. Once you order, they deliver your food to you. After tasting their Italian wedding soup, that's what I ordered. They have a soup and sandwich combo which includes a bowl of soup, a couple slices of bread, and a half sandwich. There are a number of sandwich choices from which to select, as well as the bread that the sandwich comes on. So, I got a chicken salad sandwich on rye bread and a bowl of the Italian wedding soup with multigrain bread slices. The soup was good, but not very hot. Surprisingly, I really liked the chicken salad sandwich the best of everything. My husband ordered their sherry mushroom soup (with sourdough bread slices) along with a half of a roast beef sandwich on white bread with lettuce and tomato and horseradish mayo. He said his sandwich was good. And he liked his soup choice. I tried his soup, and it was just okay for me. Each of the sandwiches came with a pickle spear and house-made potato chips (made with a mandolin). The chips were wonderful. Prices were quite reasonable. We helped ourselves to canned sodas from the cooler. I'd definitely come back to try more of their soups -- with over 20 daily varieties, I'm sure something else would appeal. I have been to Souparee many times and have Always liked the food . But O must comment on the ItalianWedding Soup on my recent visit. It did not resemble Italian Wedding soup at all! It had no pasta or greens in it. All it was was a bowl of chicken soup with a lot of shredded chicken and a few meatballs! I knew I would like the soups I would purchase because I could taste them before buying. I got a pint of the Zuppa ( chunks of chicken, sausage, and carrots),for my lunch tomorrow I got a pint of the gazpacho, and my dinner tomorrow will be the butternut squash. I don't understand the owners and staff at this restaurant. Every time I come here they are incredibly rude... heaven forbid you ask for something that's not exactly by the book, they treat you like a very large inconvenience. I also feel like their soups are hit or miss. One time you could get it and it's delicious and the next time you try it it's very salty. I've had many occasions where I couldn't eat the soup because it was so salty. It's a very small restaurant and not really big enough to be able to sit down and enjoy your food. My favorites include, tomato basil, butternut squash and their beef soup. They are a little heavy on the salt. They always give you a choice of bread with the soup. My favorite kind of lunch has always been soup, sandwiches, and salads. When I saw 2 Chef's Souparee mentioned in the Let's Eat, South Florida Facebook group I knew it would be right up my alley. On a recent trip to Lake Worth, I was finally able to check them out. Look for them tucked away in a corner of the Pinewood Square shopping plaza. This is a small restaurant with a few seats inside and a few more outside. In addition to serving food at the restaurant, they also run a catering business. 2 Chef's Souparee offers 20 soups daily including signature soups such as split pea, roasted chicken, French onion and tomato basil, and an "inspirational" menu with soups like zuppa Toscana, she crab, and chicken pot pie. You can get the 2 Chef's Souparee Combo which includes any 8 ounce bowl of soup, and a half sandwich or salad for $10.90. For my meal I ordered the French onion soup and the Holiday Sandwich made with turkey, cranberry sauce, smoked gouda spread, and watercress on toasted multigrain brain. The soup was straight up comfort in a crock. The rich broth was covered in cheesy bread and the sandwich instantly brought to mind happy thoughts of Thanksgiving. The sandwich was even served with a pickle and crispy house made chips making for a hearty and delicious meal. As I was eating my eyes wandered to the dessert board. Slices of cakes and pies are only $3.90 A cookie is only 60 cents. I wish I had thought to order dessert but there is a minimum to charge your card and I didn't have cash so next time. I loved everything about my visit to 2 Chef's Souparee. Even though they were a new to me discovery they have been around many years and it is easy to see why. If you love soup you should definitely check them out and no worries about any soup nazi's to intimidate you. They happily give samples of any soup you want to try. The soup here is just as delicious as the fictional soup restaurant in the famous Seinfeld episode (No soup for you!), but here at 2 Chef's Souparee you will find a friendly and accommodating staff. read more

I noticed the return that in the kitchen ceiling or extremely filthy and also when employees came out, wiped the table down with a washcloth. I am very confused by such high ratings. But I also noticed my skin is darker than every 5 star rater for this place. I love soup and sandwich. I especially love mom & pop soup sandwich places. This place is terrible. Good selection but the food is sub par and bland. "Jack of all trades, master of none" comes to mind. They need to take that Greek lemon chicken soup off the menu. They don't know how to make it. My sandwich was good, i had the club. I was a little put off by how red the she crab soup was but it turned out to be decent. Needed salt and hot sauce. This is one of my favorite soup places, both for the variety and consistency of quality. I've had their clam chowder, chicken pot pie, greek chicken, italian wedding, and turkey chili, and haven't been disappointed in a pick yet. Soup orders come with a slice of their fresh made bread - also delish every time (walnut/raisin, country italian, and rye so far). Desserts were also tasty, although we haven't had a chance to try much beyond cookies and a slice of cake. I've come her multiple times with my daughter and have never had a problem with service - in fact, they were super sweet and tolerant when she wanted to sample everything. The store space is deli-style, so not much room to eat inside, but there are tables outside to use also.Their location is a little tucked away in the plaza (southeast corner of Jog and Lantana, between Chris Taverna and Jupiter Donuts), and the plaza is often packed making it hard to find parking. I recommend parking on the back side of the building and walking through between the buildings where the mailboxes are. read more

I've been eating at Two Chefs for years and have always enjoyed their, soups, sandwiches, and salads. The staff is always friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, today when we went I saw something that really bothered me, to the point that we decided to leave. As we walked in, we saw a lady who works there, Jane, sitting at a table outside with someone who was smoking a cigarette. When the woman was done, she handed it to Jane to dispose of it. While we waited we watched Jane come inside, walk past the sink and in to the kitchen, without washing her hands. Absolutely disgusting! read more
