The food was incredible, the drinks were incredible, and the staff was so sweet! They also had several GF options, including a GF coffee cake, if you need/prefer that. My tropical fruit smoothie was divine, and I appreciated the giant straw! The croissants are flaky and buttery and went perfectly as a breakfast sandwich. The entire place had an adorable vibe and was also super clean. 10/10 would recommend stopping in here for breakfast or a treat if you are in the area.

Cuban panini

I tried this place for the first time and I personally did not like it. I order a ham coquettes and they were a bit soggy. The chicken panini was not a panini and the chicken was flavorless and dry. The Cuban panini and ham croissant was good. The price was not reasonable the chicken panini was 14.99 with no side or drink included the Cuba was 13.99.Overall, I will just get the breakfast items next time because that is what they seem to excel in. Additionally the service was good.

Ham croquetes

Stopped here for a quick snack while on a bike ride and really like the atmosphere of this place. It's cute, modern, very clean and has a good range of selection when it come to food. I decided to try the ham croquetes and they were light, fresh and delicious. I love a place that makes this little delight fresh! I'll definitely be coming back to try some of the other dished. The sandwich selection looks amazing!

A Latin cafe, east of the railroad tracks, is a killer idea. Julius Meinl coffee? Even better. The case, with empanadas, and the menu of Latin sandwiches, looks amazing. What comes out? Espresso that, with an improperly calibrated machine, is off. The meat in the Pan Con Bistec sandwich is under-seasoned, and the whole sandwich is unfortunately bland. The bread is good on crunch, but just lackluster on texture. No chifles (plantain chips), but Cape Cod "reduced fat" potato chips? The chef is Colombian, I'm told. Maybe it is British Columbia? They're going to have to figure out TONE. Don't do Latin half-heartedly. Be Latin and proud, in a neighborhood which just got a Delicias Cuban Bakery three blocks away, at the Chevron station up the street. You can go more Wonder Bread with inoffensive muffins and American sandwiches. This place needs to find its center. It's soul. Is it terrible? No. Is it terribly good? No. It's earnest, but it lacks passion. Lots of restaurants can get by without much energy in their food. We are a nation of grazers. Location, though, becomes a problem. Located closer to the always-promised opening of the long-shuttered Gulfstream Hotel, in a building which doesn't make its retail stand out, street side, the very location demands that A-game food that will turn it into a destination. I hope that they can find a way to kick it up a notch. They're very nice people. I would love to love this place more. Right now, it's won't thrill ya, won't kill ya. That's not enough to make me hunt down parking around that building.

We loved this little place. There are tables outside and a few inside. Very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I had a great cup Of coffee and a guava and cheese croissant. Delish.

Always happy with our visit! If you're spending the day at the beach stop for a smoothie, an ice coffee, or açaí bowl! Today I got the veggie omlet for breakfast and my husband got the turkey and egg bagel sandwich and oh YUM! Please come support this adorable cafe and small business. The staff is always happy to great and serve.

Monada Cafe is a local gem! It's a cafe conveniently located on the east end of Lake Ave on the way to the beach. It's new, bright, and clean with a hip vibe. The sun streams in while chill music plays in the background. You can get a variety of pastries as well as my favorite, avocado toast with perfectly poached eggs. The owners are South American so there is a Latin flavor to the menu and an excellent café con leche! If you're in the area (or even if not) go and support this local treasure.

L-Dub Subs - The Italian

I was visiting from California on vacation so I didn't know what to expect. I was asking about…read moretheir toppings so the employees kinda figured I wasnt local. They were so friendly, welcoming and down to earth that made the whole experience of walking around downtown so much more enjoyable. I ended up ordering the Italian - they made it perfectly! I hate when I order sandwiches and they're too dry. This is a legit sandwich spot that uses fresh ingredients. My bf got the tuna and he ate the whole thing, where he usually never finishes his food. We'll be coming back because these sammys blow Subway and Jersey Mike's outta the water!

I finally ordered delivery from this popular spot, and I selected the daily special of Da' Brooklyn…read more(Pastrami, Corned Beef, Swiss Cheese, Spicy Mustard, toasted on Seeded Rye, topped with pickles & BBQ Coleslaw), which sounded delicious! On opening up the pre-cut sandwich, I was struck by the color and ample layers of meats. The sandwich held itself together and was so delicious! I loved the flavor combos and the crunch. Now I can't imagine ordering anything but this special- and I'm excited to try their other combos. So good! There was no choice of size on the special on GrubHub, and I did find it smaller than I anticipated, roughly half the size of the full size turkey sub also ordered along with mine, but the sandwich was packed full and very filling. (I didn't fully realize it would be a sandwich and not a sub, but now I see that is clear in the listing)

This place is absolutely incredible--easily a 10/10 experience across the board…read more Food: We ordered the beef carpaccio and a turkey club (no bacon, sauce on the side). While raw dishes aren't usually my preference, I can still appreciate quality--and the person I was with said the carpaccio was a perfect 10/10 and clearly a standout for a reason. The turkey club, though, completely stole the show for me. It was hands down the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh--the meat was thinly sliced and flavorful, the bread tasted freshly baked, and the vegetables were crisp, clean, and vibrant. You can tell the sauces are house-made and thoughtfully crafted--they elevate everything. Sandwiches range around $17-$17.25 and again, are absolutely worth every penny. I've also heard the chips are made in-house (trying those next time), and I did try the chocolate chip cookie--it was very good and the perfect sweet finish. Service: The staff was amazing. Even with how busy it stays, they were patient, accommodating, and genuinely kind. You never feel rushed, and they take the time to get your order just right. Ambience: It's a very small, window-style spot with no traditional seating, but honestly, it doesn't need it. The focus is entirely on the food, and it speaks for itself. It's impressive how such high-quality, beautifully made sandwiches come out of such a modest space. Food takes about 15 minutes to make, fyi. This place is busy for a reason. Every bite proves it's worth it. If you haven't tried it yet, it's an absolute must.

Totally Awesome Subs has a classic rock theme.. There are rock music posters and collectibles on the walls and music playing throughout the cafe. There are a number of tables if you want to eat in or you can take your meal to go as I did. All of the subs and salads are made with high quality meat and cheese, locally sourced produce, and fresh baked bread. The menu includes cold subs and wraps, hot subs including their signature subs, fresh salads, soups, and snacks. Feel free to customize your meal to your taste. I decided on the 8 inch Italian sub with ham, capicola, Genoa salami, and provolone. All subs come with lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet and hot peppers, oil vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, mayo, and mustard. Any other toppings are an additional price. I loved that they sliced the meet fresh for my sandwich and the bread was fresh. I took my sub to go to enjoy at a nearby park but I felt welcome to dine in. I found both the price and service to be satisfactory at Totally Awesome Subs. I would stop in again if I was in Greenacres and in need of a quality and budget friendly lunch.

There's great music, often played on vinyl to complete the ambiance. The service is fantastic, with friendly servers and staff around to greet, check in on you, and make sure you're having a fantastic time. The owner Horace is a pretty amazing guy, very personable, and extremely passionate about what he does. But it's not just vibes, the food is fantastic.
