Cozy bakery and very friendly owner. All pastries look yum. I had chicken kebab which comes with salad and bread. Huge portion and could have for two meals.

Outstanding food and service. Out of the ordinary experience with no menu, but trust the genius of the husband and wife team to provide something quite special. Their bakery selections and pastries are world class!

I stopped in to pick up something for lunch and wow! Why has it taken me so long to find this gem in Lake Worth Beach? I opted to get a meat Burek to go. It is a ground beef and onion delight in pastry. I followed the helpful instructions of the man working behind the counter and heated it for 5 minutes at 375 degrees when I got home. Sensational! I did not know that they had tables inside the bakery. There were a few people enjoying their meals. I'll eat in next time since it looks like such a pleasant place to sit. I did not get a dessert to bring home but the choices looks phenomenal. Wonderful place!

My boyfriend and I saw outside on their tables looking at the menu before we went inside and the owner is this old angry lady that came out and asked us to leave if we were not going to be ordering so she could sit and smoke a cigarette outside. Was excited to try but will never be back to support this behavior. UPDATE from response below: the below just goes to show how terrible this owner is. I have never ever been into this store ever in my life and never sat outside once in my entire life. You speak of lying but please let's pull "footage"!!! I would love to see it :) you had one gentlemen's inside of your "busy" bakery. So now honey let's remember not to lie. I don't believe I've ever had to ask a place if I may sit on their tables ever in my life!!! A place should be welcoming and inviting to all.. Looks like it could help it as you had ONE GENTLEMAN in the place. No if you have ever looked at yelp I see a menu on here... so again lying and lack of awareness. I am more than honored to be banned as someone whom mentioned I would never be back anyways. You're speechless? IM speechless at the lack of awareness as a bakery owner of a small business! I love to support small businesses but not one ran by mean old ladies. So again please! Let's see the footage. What "two times" have you seen me. No Please enlighten yelp. You need help.

Superb Absolutely delicious authentic European gem in Florida!! Highly recommend Una Bakery The Sourdough is addictive

I was surprised by how good this small and quirky bakery was and I really liked every item I tried. When I first walked in I noticed several openly displayed pastries on a small customer accessible table and I'm not sure that's the best way to showcase the goods but I was okay with that. Una Bakery offers an eclectic mix of baked items and I purchased many from a breakfast pastry to small cakes and each was excellent and the owner/baker knows how to bring out flavors. A small chocolate cake had different types of chocolate and they melded nicely with distinct flavors and this could have been sugar or chocolate overkill but it was actually deceptively light and perfect. A breakfast item looked heavy but was also light and I think there was rosemary in it and the flavors were addictive. A Raspberry Cake slice featured cut up fresh raspberries in the frosting and sometimes desserts look better than they taste but this like everything I tried not only looked great but had the taste to match. This was one of the best bakeries I have tried in South Florida.

After seeing some delicious looking pastries in photos posted by CM, Melodie M., I had bookmarked this location for a future visit. We were in the area and needing lunch and I remembered saying to myself I had to check this place out. We are so glad that we did. There was easy street parking right outside on a Sunday afternoon. (They are closed on Mondays, btw). So that helped. There were a few folks dining outside, but we decided to head inside and look around. There were two gals making mmmm sounds over their huge lunches and telling us how great the food was (!), and that was our introduction. We were greeted warmly by the owner and later got a chance to chat with his wife, as well. She does the baking. Armin and Azra are from Bosnia and Croatia. They couldn't be a nicer more welcoming (and talented) couple. We browsed the menu and decided what to order. We knew we would be having leftovers to take home based on everyone's comments about the portion sizes, but that was fine with us. My husband ordered their smoked meat charcuterie and I got their meat burek. You can tell by the photos the portion sizes. Wow! My husband's charcuterie had all sorts of delightful bites from fresh and dried figs to two types of nuts --hazelnuts and pistachios; gouda cheese, a smoked beef that reminded me of pastrami or prosciutto but a tad stronger, and lots of fruit. Plus, a stack of toasts made from a sliced croissant. It was beautiful as well as delicious. My beef burek came out hot from the oven. The pastry was light and flaky. I ate half and took the other half home for later. The burek came with a side salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, red onions, olives, and scallions. Everything was so good. We were too full for dessert but had to ask what was in the case today. There were a number of different types of individual cheesecakes -- some with white chocolate and some with dark chocolate; and an opera cake (which had my name on it if I could have eaten another crumb). She makes different pastries all the time. It will soon be some pumpkin and banana ones; I'm hoping to try her carrot cake some time in the future. The sour dough bread also caught my eye. They even have a couple gluten free options. We will definitely be back-- for some coffee and one of their pastries, at least. But it's the kind of local haunt you could make your home and visit often and still enjoy something different each time or indulge in a favorite once you have settled on one. We hope they will be so successful that they are here for a very long time.

Una Bakery in Lake Worth Florida is an awesome bakery. All the breads and pastries are all homemade with ingredients from both Italy and Croatia. The Owner Armin is so nice and very helpful. His wife Azra is an amazing baker as can be seen by all her amazing breads, focaccia and pastries. Everything we tried was excellent. We took home a Focaccia , a Pear Tart and the Cinnamon Bun which were all absolutely delicious. The place is quaint and offers indoor seating to enjoy a pastry and a coffee. Get there early things sale out fast.

As would be expected with a condo, there is very little guest parking - maybe 9 spaces- and they were all full. Thus, I parked on the street behind the condo. There is lots of free street parking all over this area, which is mostly residential. There is some construction being done on the front and side of the building, so the entrance is a little hard to find. It is on the West side of the building, and it doesn't look like the entrance to a restaurant AT ALL! Just a side door propped open with a large, wooden, hand-painted sign next to it announcing the Cafe. I walked into the door and accidentally turned into the kitchen. The cook greeted me warmly and redirected me down the other hallway. I loved this place already! The Cafe looks like an old Southern diner, in a very not-decorated-by-a-designer way, which felt very homey to me. Two diners greeted us when we came in, we sat ourselves at a booth table, and eventually our wonderfully eclectic and kind storytelling waitress brought us menus. The menus are lovingly written in a colloquial, storytelling style that is fun and warm to read. Otherwise, the peeling laminate menus are wonderfully non designed also, and again, I love this! The board of daily specials was special with cornbread french toast amongst the items. I loved seeing more than one regular menu item I have never seen anywhere else (grits inside an egg wrap. My friend chose a breakfast quesadilla. I chose to make my own meal by ordering a slice of (heavily touted on the menu) banana bread, hashbrown casserole, and grits with cheese. I loved every bite! The hashbrown casserole was giant, and crisped all over the outside, so cutting it open was a treat- delicious. The banana bread was light, moist, and also delicious. The grits with cheese were nothing different or special, which was exactly as I expected. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this quirky hidden cafe! Shoot! I am already craving hashbrown casserole and banana bread again...

We came here for dinner last night and we were seated with a direct ocean view. This is one of the few places that is literally on the beach that you can have dinner. It was around 7 PM so there was shade and cool evening ocean breezes We ordered the whole snapper which was a whopping 2 1/2 pounds and the grouper. The snapper was obviously meant for two people because of the amount of rice and vegetables they included with the snapper. It was excellent. The grouper came in some type of coconut sauce, which was amazing. We were dipping our snapper in the sauce for the grouper. If I was to make any type of recommendation, I would recommend adding a side of this sauce to the snapper and that would just make it a perfect dish I had a watermelon Mojito. The drinks here are ridiculously expensive at $17 a cocktail. And it's not like they come in a huge glass. They come in a regular wine glass. They do say that all the ingredients are natural and nothing is artificial, so maybe it's worth it to pay that much to not have a bunch of junk in your drinks. The service was slow. Although friendly. When we arrived, there was not that many people eating so I was surprised when after 30 minutes we still had not gotten the cocktails. Our waiter said it was because there was only one bartender and he was 15 minutes behind on his orders. I find this pretty amazing that a restaurant like Benny's cannot hire more than one bartender so that the people who come and pay what is not really a moderate amount but pretty expensive for their entrées, but still have to wait 20 minutes to get their drinks. It was only for this that I took off a star. When I order a cocktail, I like it brought out within five minutes and not to drink during my dinner. Dinner was also very slow and we got our entrées about 45 minutes after our order. But all in all, it was an amazing experience and we will be back.
